You pay for what you get. No frills stay, very thin walls but very convenient location to South lake Tahoe. Would stay again if I was looking for an affordable place to sleep

This property is in such disrepair it’s amazing it’s still in business. We checked into room 273. The refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and air conditioner are in the closet, there’s no plug to us to charge cellphones, lamp on nightstand had cord wrapped around the base with nowhere to plug it in, and the toilet was leaking all over the place.
We were given a new room 271 and it was no better than the first room. The missing carpet at the door was a tripping hazard, Shower missing a glass door, tub doesn’t drain, no working plug, giant blue extension cord run across the floor to power lights, all electrics plugged into one outlet with old power bar with frayed wire, couldn’t use hairdryer with light on above the sink at the same time without overloading the circuit.
We complained and the guy at the counter replied with “I understand” and “I know” to every problem we addressed with him. He offered no apologies, discount, or anything. We were given an email address to “write them if we wanted to complain.”
We spent $252 for one night in what was advertised as a 4 star, 8.2 out of 10 hotel and it couldn’t be farther from the truth.
I hope no one reading this ever books at this horrible hotel.

This is a no frills restaurant but its ok to stay for skiing trip. However, i did not care to be in a room with ajoining rooms on either side. I heard conversations and loud kids. The walls are thin. Other than that, it is within walking distance of restaurants and casinos.

Walls are paper thin and you can hear everything in the next room. Woken up at 1am from next door guest, kids running around, slamming cabinets, talking very loudly. Did not stop until almost 4am and was unable to contact anyone at this time of night and no one in office at check out, just had to drop card keys in the box. Sheets were stained and there were little seed type things all over and on bed. Not sure what it was. Yes the room is on the cheaper side but still not even worth that much.

1st room, fireplace not working. Hotel person tried their hardest to get it working, but no. Got moved to a different room. Fireplace was working, but floor was sticky and had to have hotel person come back again the next morning to make my TV work. Bravo to the staff, but some attention needs to be paid the cleanliness of the rooms and their amenities.

Upon check in, there was no one at the front desk. (5pm) And then we were assigned to a room that was not made up. Returned to front desk to get another. The whole time being reassigned the new room the clerk kept saying please do not give us a bad review. The second room, the lights kept flickering off/on. The hot and cold water was inconsistent in the shower. Overall I would not recommend not even for the room rate. The previous responses on here from the staff state they are trying to fix the issues....I cannot see where any improvements have been made.

Unfortunately I did not like my stay at all the rim was not in the best of shape the floorboards on the laminate flooring were separated be careful you'll stub your toe they were also long black hairs in the sheets the bathroom needs to be redone and re-cocked if you're on the downstairs be prepared for hearing every sound you possibly could from upstairs decent price though I do have people working on the building hopefully to make it more comfortable also there are no blackout curtains just Venetian blinds so every little bit of sunlight comes in

Room felt dirty and out dated. Showers were hot and cold water. TV didn’t work. Not worth the $$

check in was sketchy right at the start. Was told we were not guaranteed a parking spot during our stay and when asked why not was told due to the closeness of a entertainment venue and people would park in the hotel parking spaces even though signs were posted stating spaces were for hotel guest only..2 nights i was lucky to get the last spot close to our room without using the handicap spaces which were taken by cars illegally parked there(no placards) The room was very dated with a carpet and flooring in the bathroom that required us to wear socks all the time.Tv didn't work and took 2 days for someone to finally come and try to sync remote to tv but could'n.. tv had to be manually turned on using the control buttons on the rear of the tv, NO ONE came in the room to check for towels or bedding the 4 nights we stayed there..fortunately we used the towels sparingly..mattress was like sleeping on stone..did not look forward to going back to the room for the night...atmosphere in the room just felt unhealthy even after trying to air out the by leaving the door open with a small breeze fan we always travel with....not staying there ever.....

The room was hot because the heater unit was on, I tried to use the AC and the plug was burned out and we were extremely uncomfortable all night. The front desk said that there was nothing they could do and did not have any other rooms. The entire room was filthy, the dust made my allergies flare up.
The carpet the bedding the walls etc. everything was dirty . the outlets were not working and I was able to charge all my electronics. The shower had black mold and your either got ice cold water or scorching hot water when you showered. I even feel like my scalp burned.
The next day they came at noon to try to fix the ac. They replaces it with on ether one but I lost a couple of ours of my time on them doing that because I could not leave the room due to them leaving the home of where the ac unit was. Anyone would be able to get it the room with that big hole on the wall. From start to finish it was a horrible experience.

You get what you pay for the hotel itself looks decent on the outside needs a major facelift really old and dated on. The inside is needs a complete remodel in my opinion but you get what you pay for the bed was actually really comfortable surprisingly! Bonus did see a bear walk by

Many things were not up-to-date, like old & torn drk green carpet at room entrance, noisy wall air conditioner, bathroom door handle loose, sticky floor, bath tub needed cleaning, sliding door came off, TV remote lousy bcuz had to stand close to TV, only provided 2 toilet paper rolls for 4 guests staying 3 nights, mini blind strings tangled...

You get what you pay for . Rooms are ok behind T.V. Dresser dusty & head board . The locations is good for walking to casinos if your on budget it is perfect place . Beds were ok room just out dated . Like i said it’s bugget friendly . It’s not that bad if just if staying a night or two traveling .

The interior room was clean and new but you wouldn't know it from the exterior. Needs a bit of curb appeal.

The room i stayed was very dirty and the appliances were not working, there was no tissue in the room and the utensils in the kitchen were very dirty. The coffee mug had plastic stick to it on the top and inside, the worst experience i ever had

This is an ok Hotel. We mainly got it so the kids could use the pool, luckily it was cold and it drizzled..Pool was dirty. The rooms had comfortable beds, TV was not working, had ti go to front desk ti get tv fixed but the next day we couldn’t use it again. The smoke alarm kept making noises all night, coffee maker broken, table also broken. So watch out and make sure to let them know before they charge your card for broken things in the room. Other than that it’s conveniently located within walking distance to the casinos and all stores on the strip.

This hotel’s room need some serious work… toilet seat was so old the paint was wearing off, & the shower was questionable.. really dissatisfied, will not stay here again

Old. Pretty out of date, but hey it’s a cheap hotel in south lake. Can’t complain too much

For what it’s worth, read the reviews to save yourself the time, money, and your vacation. On the other hand if you just need a bed/place to sleep after being out all night drinking then this is would do. The drink helps blurr the stained bed sheets and conditions of the interior. One last thing, if you are traveling with pets, don’t bother trying the yelp check in to waive the pet fee of $25 - they do not honor it.
