First room they gave us had not been cleaned. Second one had bad stains in the toilet. And the toilet started running every couple of minutes, all night long.

When we got there the parking lot had construction vehicles all in it. Walked in door and plactic and dust was all over, but smelled clean. We checked in at a tempoary desk area they had set up. Got room and room was nice and clean. We'd actually stay again. But was shocked at first with all the construction and plactic hanging everywhere. The breakfast in the morning was very good. Would've rated all 5s except for the construction onsite.

This was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. It had tons of construction going on in the lobby that there was no mention of and I still paid $170 for my stay people downstairs were not friendly and welcoming. They laughed and joked with each other, and gave no attention to me even at times, making me feel stupid For asking questions. They treated me and my kids like we were secondhand citizens and were rude and disrespectful. If you’re gonna spend $170 go somewhere else absolutely not worth it not to mention the toilet clogged upstairs and downstairs and was absolutely ridiculous.

Was nice once we got settled. Check in/afternoon young lady was very nice. Check out/morning crew looked and sounded like they were having a family reunion. Hotel was hard to find, no markings from the road.

Upon arrival was taken aback by the fact that there were no cars in the parking lot. There was no breakfast service and half the channels on the tv didn’t work, the indoor “heated” pool was lackluster at best. Overall if not for the friendly staff we would have left. Thoroughly disappointed with Expedia…

We traveled from Indiana, (on our way to Florida) and planned to stay at a hotel half way through the trip. I specifically chose this hotel, because of their nice pool and hot tub for me and my kids. When we arrived, the hotel was under construction, and the pool area was closed. There was no warning about the hotel being under construction or that the pool area would be closed. I could’ve picked any number of other hotels with like accommodations, had I known that the pool would be closed. Pretty disappointing…

I am extremely disappointed! I booked this because it was close to my grandsons and they were going to swim. This is under construction, no pool, no ice machines. The door is so bad that no key entry will hardly open it. Very frustrating!. At first the room had no TV and we had to wait for it to be repaired. The front desk lady was not unfriendly but wasn’t real helpful either. I think she was probably stressed. The elevators are extremely slow. If I had known this place was under construction I definitely would not have stayed here and the room was not cheap.

You should be notified if a property is under construction and amenities are closed before finalizing a reservation. Otherwise you are not getting your money’s worth and you are subjecting yourself to unwanted inconveniences while paying full price. One of the elevators is not working properly either.

Pool closed, which was major reason we chose this hotel. Renovations going on rooms and stairwells open which gave off an unsafe environment. Plus no lobby tv to gather with other teammates staying in hotel. Finally ice makers and elevators didn’t work half the time we were there. Also manager smoking right outside the front entrance was an unpleasant thing to walk out into.

We spent less than 12 hours and paid $200. Overall, it was clean. The bathtub was delaminating so i dont think it could be cleaned properly which leaves an ick factor. The breakfast was standard. Overall nice.

Molly was awesome!!! Room was clean and comfortable. Pool was a little small with no chairs to sit it but not a deal breaker. Breakfast was really good. Only saysage though no bacon. Just for those bacon lovers like myself. Overall great stay

Very clean and well appointed room. We arrived a little early, so had to wait in the lobby for a room. Fortunately they had great coffee or tea in the lobby. The only complaint we had was that to open the room door, the handle had to be pushed up, not down. We were not told that at check in, so an extra visit to desk had to be made. To note, to exit room, you had to pull handle down! Breakfast was great.

The building and property look very run down. I was shocked by the condition of the outside when we pulled up. They said they are doing renovations and we got a 'renovated' room. It just looked like they slapped paint on a few walls (not even all of them) and bought some new bed linens. The carpet had a dark stain that was sticky. We booked two rooms, and check-in was at 3 pm but only one room was ready when we arrived at 3:30. They said the other room would be ready in 40 minutes. Nope, wasn't ready until after 6 pm. Definitely would not recommend.

was there for a conference that was held in sylacauga, al. the location of the hotel was great. The staff was friendly and very professional. Once, in the room the bed was so comfortable/ bathroom clean. Love the new look in the room/ bathroom. the pool area/ jacuzzi was peaceful. I will be back again.

We were told that the rooms on our floor #4 had been renovated. Looked like the only thing that had been done was painting the walls. Bathroom was not clean; the tub had mold around the drain. The parking lot had dumpsters and storage containers throughout. The exterior was poorly lit.

The only thing i didn't like was the house cleaning service. No clean towels were left, the beds looked half-way made, and no new rolls of toilet paper were left in the bathroom.

Upon arrival we discovered that the hotel was being remodeled. That wasn't a big deal however our room had already been done and the finish was already coming off of the tub in giant flakes and I had to take the drain plug out in order to remove as many flakes as I could to unclog the drain in order to use the shower. Housekeeping never touched our room the entire time we were there(3 days) so new towels, bedding coffee etc. The front desk staff were friendly however a number of them would take their smoke breaks right outside the front doors rather than far enough away from the doors in order not offend others with their second hand smoke. Also our door lock assembly had been installed upside down so that you had to turn the handle up rather than down in order to open the door. Not a big deal but when you're used to every other hotel room opening the other way it made us wonder if the door was bolted and someone was already in that room. We had to go back to the front desk and talk to them and that's when we found out that had been done to a number of their rooms during the remodel. We love staying at HI expresses and are IHG members but that one left a lot to be desired and doubt we'll be back to that one.

The bed was very clean and room was OK. We found chips around the edge of the bed. The shower area was clean, but looked a little outdated For us paying $195 Canadian it was a little overpriced for what we got but we are satisfied someone

Not informed that hotel was under renovations. There was old furniture and stuff piled on the side of building. Daytime management didn’t come from back to talk to us when we tried to see if we could check in early. The hallways are narrow, we were trying to get to room but housekeeping cart was in the way. The dining area used as storage for things to be used to remodel hotel. Only 1 ice and vending machine in the entire hotel. Hotel staff need to be dressed in uniform if that’s their policy. Not sure if I’d return to this property.

They are renovating so kinda crowded with containers outside, but not bad. Doesn't bother anything about the stay. Rooms are nice. Staff very helpful. Breakfast was better than average for this type buffet style.
