The hotel room was convenient and comfortable. My only complaints or suggestions was that they needed a long mirror somewhere in the room and we could not get any of the lights to work in the morning. I think it had blown a fuse. The bathroom light would turn on but the bedroom electrical didn’t seem to work.

Solo birthday trip, had great start with this place! Came at a perfect time where there wasn’t many people, it was nice and quiet and easy to access. My room got upgraded for a small fee. Everything was spotless and cozy.

We were celebrating our 40th anniversary and they went out of their way to make it special. The room was very comfortable and the view was spectacular. It was so nice being able to have our dog stay with us.

We were hoping to have a river view from the advertising on Hotels.com but we were given a very small highway frontage room. It was fine for one night and very clean. We got moved to a larger room due to toilet problems, so that was a plus. The crew on staff were very accommodating and helpful with the move. Thank you.

Our "partial view" was no view at all. Worth checking with the hotel for details prior to selecting a room. Also--no one was at the front desk for a good 10-15 minutes when we arrived--no way to check in. In general: very comfortable king-sized bed, fine bathroom/linens, not too much else.

Not worth the money! View was misrepresented!!!
Bed like sleeping on floor. 2nd floor walk up with suitcase not accessible. Parking not convenient

Very nicely appointed, well insulated from the highway, and a nice home away from home feeling.

My hubby and I stopped here for a night on our way back from the coast. Such a beautiful end to our trip. Already thinking of taking a trip back to Hood River to stay here and do more exploring in the area! Highly recommend!

I think it depends entirely on what room you are assigned to. Looking at reviews, I see that people staying in the suites are entirely satisfied, while those relegated to the one-offs are basically pretty disappointed. I was in a room that was a part of a suite, separated by a door with a do not disturb sign. I could hear everything on the other side if the door. I had a view of the highway. Even with the windows closed, the highway noise was significant. The room was approximately 13x13, no microwave, fridge, etc. parking is very limited and initially parked behind another building, quite a distance away. Very clean and nice linens and towels and friendly staff. My car got a much better view than I did. It seems 3rd party sellers are utilized to sell these rooms off, despite almost certain disappointment.

The view from the room is spectacular from your bed or the chairs that you could sit in the Columbia river was right outside. A screen would be a nice addition to keep any bugs out. We loved the room and the view.

Charming and classy is how I would describe Columbia Cliff. The person at the front desk went out of their way to escort us to our room because we arrived in the dark. Beautiful property on a cliff with great views of the river. We could see the windsurfers!

The property is amazing. My wife and I are planning our next trip already.
Only down fall was the AC in the room. Did not get cool enough for me to sleep comfortably. I would of been ok if there was a room fan over or beside the bed.
Thanks

Beautiful vista, but unit looked out on main hiway. Room was quite small for the price. No walkable possibilities to food, groceries, services. Would have been thoughtful to offer breakfast. Extremely tight, limited parking.

Room was right by the freeway with a view
of trucks going by and very loud. Difficult to sleep and other rooms were available but staff didn’t upgrade as they could have. Said $100 more for a room facing the rivers. Already paying $217 a night so thought another $100 was unreasonable when clearly many rooms were available. Super small room also. But other than that the property was nice.

No elevators, rooms all on second floor or third. Not enough convenient parking. TV remotes are difficult to use.

Fun and unique room, very comfortable.

We got a basic tiny room with a view if the freeway. It was overpriced.

Quiet for being so close to the road. Just outside the downtown corridor and somewhat isolated this motel is set up like a condo or timeshare. The units have recently been remodeled and are top notch. Staff is excellent and the rooms super clean.

Spacious, beautifully decorated living, dining and kitchen spaces. Luxurious bedroom suite. The view of the River and gorge is breathtaking.

Very clean and modern room. Room is on the small side, only one luggage stand provided. Rooms are on the second floor with no elevator, limited parking near rooms, additional parking down the hill in unpaved lot.

Staff was welcoming and hospitable.

So. Comfy beds. Clean. BUT this is like a sister property to the gorge hotel (which is nicer) it's right next door so you can walk their beautiful grounds and eat there, however, this is mostly a condo residence with some rentals on the FREEWAY side of the building. You are right off I84 and it's loud!!!!! That was my only complaint but it's a big one, the room was also super small. Fyi

Excellent property. Beautiful views and quiet location. High-end materials in the room. Although there is no restaurant, there is an outstanding restaurant at the Columbia Gorge Hotel and Spa next door.

One of the loveliest hotels I’ve EVER stayed in. Plush, quiet rooms and the views of the Columbia River are spectacular!

The room and view were very nice. Lighting in the bathroom above the sink was very poor, hard to see in the mirror. Overall a great place to spend a long quiet weekend.

The Cliff Villas were fantastic! And there was an awesome trail next to the Columbia River and saw 2 bald eagles up close. Amenities, parking, quiet and that we could bring our doggie were all big pluses too.

I loved this hotel. It was perfect for our one-night stay, it has the getaway feels. Our room was on a second floor and there is no elevator. There is an overflow parking lot but we were able to park behind the building which made it much closer to our room. Great place overall.

Great place! Beautiful view

Our one bedroom suite “the River room” was very charming! You could see the river from the bed.
The only thing is that I could hear sometimes the next door apartment’s noises.
In addition, the hotel is in a great location close to breweries, wineries, restaurants, waterfalls, the infinitive loop, and more.

The grounds were beautiful and the walking was very safe with excellent views of the river.
