Cozy cabin in the woods but close to town and Yellowstone. Walkable to shops and restaurants. The fire pits and s’mores kits were an added bonus. The cabin was well appointed and immaculate. We’ll definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

The cabin was nice. However we were attached to another cabin so it wasn't really your own cabin. It it's the one with two queen beds. Just be aware when you book. We would have paid more for our own cabin with no one touching us. The people next to us cooked so super stinky fried food.

These little cabins are great! A little kitchenette with everything you need. A smores pack and a fire pit too. And games to play too. We loved it!!

The Explorer Cabins are a good home base for day hiking in Yellowstone. The staff from Gray Wolf Inn were super quick to bring us coffee when we ran out and to turn on the fire pit outside when we asked. The kitchen was a little small to try and make breakfast, but we made due and also had enough space to make our sandwiches for our hikes each day.

Great location. Cabin was awesome!

This cabin is a hotel dressed up as a cabin. It is placed in the middle of a parking lot, not the woods.

Very comfortable cabin conveniently located across the street from the West Yellowstone visitor center. While the view from the cabin is not a scenic Yellowstone view, the amenities in the cabin are nice and the convenience for accessing the park and tours can't be beat.

Wonderful place to stay.

The cabins were so cute! And very clean. It was perfect for us to get straight into the park, which we were spending the entire day in, and so convenient to be able to be right back at the cabins at the end of the day without a long drive from the park. There are some fun activities like nightly s’mores by the bonfire, ice cream socials, and breakfast in the morning. Will definitely keep in mind for our next Yellowstone visit!

The cabin was nice. It had the basics needed. The s’mores kits & refillable bottles in the cabin were a nice touch. We didn’t spend much time in the cabin, as we were there late from Yellowstone & dinner, then out early to head back to Yellowstone the next morning. It was tidy, I don’t know if it would meet all cleanliness standards. The furniture in the living room was a little outdated, and not the most comfortable. There wasn’t a table, just tv trays, which was a little different. The cabins faced the street, & there was a fairly traveled road for our view, but again, we were not there much. The bed was important & it was comfortable. We had a rough start, they put us in a handicap room which we DID NOT request. Some of the amenities were missing, & someone who really needed it, did not have access to it. Also, the room had not been cleaned. There was travel mug filled with coffee and dome’s room keys on the fireplace. They did, however, make it right, and gave us a different room. Overall, a rough start, but it was comfortable enough.

Fantastic paved Bike Path near the Cabins that is for bikes only and goes deep into the woods with Gorgeous Scenery!

From being able to check in early the staff was so helpful. Free ice cream availble and mult pool options though we didn't use either. We loved the firepit and enjoyed smores both nights with the provided kits. Fun games to check out and play as well as binoculars which we had accidently left at home. Loved our stay. Only thing I would change is for a cabin that slept 6 it would be nice to have more than 4 forks, spoons ect.

Fantastic stay in very cool cabins! You check in at the hotel about 1/2 block away and all the amenities are at the hotel. We had to walk over to use the pool, breakfast, ice machine, laundry. It was fine, they were very clear walkable paths thru the area, but it would have been nice to have at least an ice machine near the cabins. Fire pits for s’mores every night was a fun activity! Overall it was great!!! Breakfast was average nothing fancy, but it had the staples.

I really enjoyed staying at this property.
The only hitch is that there are only 10 parking spots for 11 units. We were able to find parking but others did not.
Front desk staff was very helpful!
