It was one of the best experiences I have had on my trips abroad. I strongly suggest this hotel to anyone visiting Quebec, a truly fantastic 'Hôtellerie d'Expérience' as promoted. Fantastic design and sustainably correct in all senses.

I relaxed and enjoyed quiet place.
Their silent breakfast was very good.
I got their massage too.
I want to come back this place

Beautiful hotel with museum and lots of character and history. Friendly staff willing to give free guided tours. Awesome stay.

We had a lovely stay. The hotel is beautiful and full of history. Definitely take the free tour. My only comment is that there is no soda in the restaurant or building and also no ice available or refrigerators in the rooms. We were able to get a small bag of ice from the restaurant but it was kind of a production. Otherwise a great location and comfortable, quiet accommodations.

Fabulous stay in this historic property. I stayed in a single authentic room, with meticulously kept shared bathroom.
Breakfast and dinner were superior and tge staff were receptive.
Property is açcesdible by bus lines and by foot.
I would visit again!

This place is by far the best way to spend your nights and maybe days if you are looking for some peace and quiet. My wife and I loved are in love with it.
The pièce de résistance of our Canada experience. If we had to go back to Québec, we would stay here again.

I would definitely stay here again. The rooms were simple, but nice. The tone of the place wax peaceful. I loved the silent breakfast. I really wish all hotels had this feature. Also, the location was amazing.

Unique experience in historic convent.

As close to perfection as possible. You are literally staying in a museum. The architecture, design, and outfitting of the new addition to facilitate the hotel is excellent. Very high quality throughout. I did the classic room with shared baths and was a little concerned how that would work out. I was pleased to see that each floor/wing has multiple options and I never had to wait or plan my bathroom usage on off hours. It’s a great experience all around. Book it and enjoy

It was absolutely lovely in every way.

I had a very good stay here. Walking through the hallways and seeing the artifacts was very interesting and learning how life was in the past. There was a good selection of food for breakfast. The area is quiet and so were the rooms.
Be sure to watch your head in the "authentic" rooms. The hallways and shared bathrooms were consistently clean; however, I wished the stains in the hallway carpets were removed.

There’s a quiet kind of reverent hush that happens when you step foot onto the grounds of the Monastère des Augustines. We loved our time here. The staff were kind in giving us detailed orientation of the property and tour. Our room was the contemporary modern room and we appreciated the clean accommodations with adjoining shower and toilet. Breakfast was a healthy fare of oatmeal, fruits, organic vegetables, eggs and tea/coffee. Eating in silence was new to me, but I enjoyed the quiet. We especially liked trying the different tinctures (tea blends) whose recipes were handed down by the Sisters through the years. In all, we had a lovely time during our stay here and we are grateful for the opportunity to stay.

I booked the hotel at the last min so I didn't know what I would get into. I just saw a pretty high rating w/ lots of reviews and picked this one. So I was quite surprised to find out it used to be a very old monastery. I've never stayed in anything like this before. Quite an interesting experience. And I loved it. The room was clean and cozy. It was very quiet at night except when people open/close the door. I also liked the silent breakfast. I got to see the museum on the first floor, but didn't get to see the vault. Two entrances. The one on the second floor opens to the streets in the old city. I liked the location of the hotel. It was easy to get around.

Very close to nice restaurants walking distance in old Quebec. Parking in their yard.
In house dining is simple and good.
I wanted to try this Monastery with the old setting. Made for people that loves quietness in all the areas.
Rooms are old Monestary furniture. Original doors approx 55'' H.
Toilets and showers are in the hall in individual rooms. Only a sink in the room but I still love this ancestral setting.

This place is really unique. There is a museum on site, but to be honest, the whole place is like a museum. We were fascinated by the history of the pace. Location is great, you can walk everywhere.

The hotel charge $200 when checked in, but forgot to release or refund it after checked out, after two weeks I found it and called back and asked for refund, and waiting for five days and get the refund finally, but since the rate changed, I lost $4 due to the hotel mistake. And the service is bad too. Not recommend. The breakfast room have to be quiet and can't talk during the breakfast. The address is very tricky and hard to find it.

This property was incredible! It is a still-functioning Monetary for the Sisters of St. Augustine. At some point, the Sisters decided to convert most of the building to a hotel and what a job they did. They've converted this historic building into something magnificent. Important. Only the rooms on the 4th floor have their own bath rooms. If you're on the 2nd or 3rd floors there are common bathrooms, but these are modern and beautifully done. The location is at the heart of the old city so it's location is perfect. It was a terrific experience all around.

Wonderful stay - beautiful property and excellent service. Everything seemed very thoughtful. The location is about a block from one of the main shopping/dining streets in Old Quebec. It's a bit of a hike uphill if you want to go to the Chateau Frontenac area, but that's true of a lot of hotels in Quebec City.

Amazing stay at the monastery location was excellent. Breakfast was healthy and quality of food was good. Very peaceful stay in the courtyard. Enjoyed morning meditation walks.

Parking is 25$ for 24 hours....

Rude and unprofessional front desk staff during check-in. Very Small room with only 2 beds and nothing else. It looked more like a jail cell but even jail cells have a toilet in them but these rooms don’t. We did not stay in this place because of the room condition and the girl in front desk who was very rude, disrespectful and unprofessional.

It was a very peaceful hotel. The staff was amazing and the food was like eating at home. I like the holistic approach of the hotel.

This place was Not suitable for a dad and son trip, looking for a convenient place to stay. Extremely expensive, but only provides a shared bathroom and shower. Single room in a nun cell, my comforter on a twin bed reeked from moldy smell. The A/C was a geo and didn’t work. Even brought their French only speaking person, who didn’t improve the high humidity at all there. Parking was extra on top. Would not recommend unless you are looking for a deeply religious meditation at a high price.

The Hôtellerie d'Expérience au Monastère des Augustines does full justice to its name, it is wonderful. The hotel staff are thoroughly professional, courteous, and well-informed, and they provide service with a smile. The "quiet" breakfast, with it delicious food to be eaten in silence, was another very special and marvelous experience. All very highly recommended.

This hotel was perfect for our stay. Despite the proximity to what seemed like a significant homeless population, area was close to public transportation and the staff was great!
