Great staff and comfortable clean rooms

Overall the hotel was ok—not wonderful. We booked and paid for an executive suite but it seemed a little run down. The kitchen did not have essentials such as napkins or paper towels, the television did not work and had to be fixed during our stay and the bathroom was not very clean. We were here for a few days so it would have been nice to have room service change our towels and sheets at least once during our stay. The bar staff was as very friendly but the front desk staff was not good about answering the phone, which was frustrating. I think I might try another option next time.

The chair in our room was covered in disgusting white stains. There was a connecting door to another hotel room that did not have a lock on it. The toilet wouldn’t flush and required a plumber. They would not allow us to wait in the lobby after we checked out. The food at the restaurant was almost inedible.

The cleanliness was not very good, I found 3 hairs on the back of the same pillow, and blood stains on the quilt (between the blankets). But the convenience is excellent (distance from ShopperDrug, museum). And the staff at the reception desk were very friendly.

I like how close it is to the airport, shopping areas and the staff is amazing. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

The bed was very comfortable, overall everything was good. It would have been nice to have had a beverage station with assorted coffee and juice options. We normally only stay at Best Western plus locations so I guess we are just spoiled.

Great hotel overall. All that's missing was a pool for me. Frequent shuttles to and from the airport, Brunch (not included) was complete. Walking distance from downtown, Old Town, a big grocery store and Prince of Wales Free Museum.

Pretty nice overall but there were lots of splatters on the walls and the sheets were so thin could see stains under them. Remote needed new battery and was worn out. Maybe a deepclean needed once in awhile?

The location of this hotel was great.
Family room was excellent I could use kitchen which included everything i needed.
I could walk to the museum and the downtown from the hotel.
It took me only 5-10minutes. Additionally, the restaurant at hotel was great even though the service was slow.

The reception area sofa were worn out. Should have been changed long back. The food served in the restaurant, in particular the break fast has very limited menu.

Worst stay ever.
From the beginning to the end.
Arrived at 1 30pm, other people except us did early check in because I was told all the suite rooms were dirty and not ready yet. Took so long to check in since there was no room ready even at 4pm, we kept waiting and finally they gave us a room and had to change the room because the room was so smelly, it gave us headache, sofa bed cover was not there, and the sheet cover sets in the king bed were smelly too.
cleaning staff have not cleaned our room for 3 days even though we put the sign up, we had to give them old towels and get it from the front desk. I thought we were the worker there. There was no shuttle bus running on the day we check out and they did not give us a taxi voucher even though we deserve to get it for free. This hotel ruined our delights. From the beginning to the end. We will never ever visit again. I wish i could get a refund. Totally disgusting hotel. Please avoid this hotel and go to explorer hotel instead.

This property is new so the rooms and furniture is very nice. But cleaning staff were quite loud when near by, and I felt the bed sheets and bathtub not very clean.

The restaurant charges same price for breakfast buffet, however provides less variety of food second time when went there, this is corner cut conduct. The sofa bed in our suite is very old and uncomfortable.

I had a one bedroom unit with kitchen. The unit was in poor repair. The heat was either full off or full on. I had to call twice to get a service call. In the end I ln the end I chose full on and opened the windows to manage the heat. The kitchen was modestly equipped but OK. There was no dish soap. The towel rack in the bathroom fell off the wall.

Nothing to do. Food around the city is awfully expensive with no taste.. I would recommend to come here only for aurora seeing, nothing else.

Solid hotel, helpful staff, great location. Rooms arent always very quiet but folks are respectful. Bathrooms are excellently cleaned. Rooms are a little dated and the beds are a bit stiff, but for the price and location it is definitely worth a stay.

Stayed for 5 nights and there was no daily room service/cleaning. Twice we had to ask the cleaning crew for towels etc. even though we had the tidy room card on our door

After my trip, I was overcharged. Talked to Expedia but they said they cannot help because the hotel told them there was no overcharged I proofed my credit record with the transaction but Expedia said they cannot do anything. So why do we order through Expedia if they are not involve. I believe they have agreement with the partners (hotels). I will never order through Expedia!

Very clean and modern hotel, and the lobby is a comfortable third space to decompress. Complimentary shuttle service to/from the airport. I would definitely want to stay here again if I come back to Yellowknife, I'm pretty impressed with the facilities. One criticism is that check-in/check-out could be made more efficient, like having a key drop off.

The room prices at the hotel are often the cheapest so always call the hotel to check the prices and additional offerings such as breakfast, laundry and other services

I forgot to bring my bath towel as i am on transit to camp site. I asked the front desk if i could buy one their bath towel and I explained to the front desk that I forgot to bring one from home. And that the camp site doesn't provide bath towel. The management said they don't sell the towel. I travel a lot and this is the first time I got a replied from a hotel where they don't sell their towel. Not their fault really but amused. If i were the in-charged i would help the guest so they would have a memorable stay at their hotel as they go the extra mile to help their guest. Now i have to use my clothes to wipe myself after shower in camp.

1- No Tourist friendly Info.
2 - There should be a Guest Relations Assistant /Manager. Guest Relations like HR is a critical Aspect in Hospitality & is lacking.
3 - Poor state of Communications. Vert diff to get thru to Front Desk or Room Service.

We stayed in a suite. Separate bedroom, living room, bathroom, laundry room and kitchen. Everything was good but kitchen could have had more utensils like measuring cups or a spatula.
