Room was a nice two bedroom suite, we had booked a single bedroom suite but by arrival were upgraded. One room had a king size bed with private bathroom while the other room was a pair of twin beds with a bathroom off of the main room of the suite. There was a full, if small, kitchen, compact/stacked washer and dryer, dinner table with seating for 6, and a setting or living room area with a pair of chairs and a couch that was also a pull-out bed. Room was very spacious and included a wooden sunroom and nice slightly elevated deck overlooking a pond. Room was in good condition, you could see some repairs to the walls, but overall, a nice, gated resort within a short drive to most major attractions in the area.

Great stay, family reunion over Memorial Day weekend. Very clean, spacious rooms. Restaurant very accommodating. Five minutes to stores and fifteen to Colonial Williamsburg.

The stay was pretty good. Checking in took a half hour which was surprising but I guess it was because it was a graduation weekend. Some staff were really friendly while others were not rude but not friendly either. The room was clean and spacious but the problem was there was trash near the door of the entrance to the apartment that stayed there the entire time. No one came to pick it up and it began to smell. Also the clerk didn’t tell us about amenities such as the fitness area or dining area.

Love it !! Will be back very soon! Staff was excellent as well

We were in town for graduation and enjoyed the comfort and spaciousness of our 2-bedroom suite. We will definitely stay at the Hilton Historic Powhatan resort again.

A great place for family travel. Enough space to be together and to get some alone time as needed. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Everything you need for managing a family trip whether it is a place to keep the kids special drinks/snacks, laundry facilities for those little disasters or to keep from packing so much and multiple tvs for when you can’t agree on what to watch.

I was very pleased with my unit. I spent most of the day touring the area, so I did not use all of the amenities. But the unit was well-furnished and provisioned. All rooms and the bath were clean and well-maintained. I enjoyed having breakfast and one dinner at the on-site restaurant.

Place is old and a bit run down. Mold in bathroom tub and sink. Not very clean. The grounds and area around the resort are beautiful but the efficiency buikldings are not kept well.

We absolutely loved our townhome! It was the perfect size for our family, and extremely comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised with the sunroom and enclosed back porch. The only downside is that I wasn’t able to lock the door better. Our toddler kept opening the front door because there’s no way to truly lock it from the inside.

I enjoyed the resort. We had an ant problem while there but management took care of it. Other than that the property is quiet and close to shopping center.

Great amenity, peaceful garden! Good for family trip. Hotel room is not new and a little old smell to carpet & sofa.

Our condo was perfect for a family of 4. We could bring meals back to the room and everyone slept well. Amenities were great, our family really enjoyed all the activities. We will definitely return!

My son and I enjoyed the property. We did not get to take advantage of everything offered due to other plans. On our next stay, we intend to explore what the property offers.

Home away from home, just so relaxing had a wonderful time.

My family has annual passes for Busch Gardens and we love this area for a quick weekend getaway. We have stayed at numerous hotels in the area, but the Historic Powhatan has become our home away from home. We stay here 4 to 6 times a year, and it never disappoints.

Both showers had a few hairs in them. Shower heads sprayed water everywhere. Water in shower could have been hotter. WiFi connected. Had trouble with internet failure, which wasn’t explained. Help line for internet was a waste. Stayed on hold for over 30 minutes without receiving any help

Excellent property. This was our first stay here. We stayed two nights with another family, three kids in total. As we were mainly going to Busch Gardens we didn’t have a lot of time to explore all the amenities offered, but the property was beautiful and our 3 story condo was awesome. Great value when sharing the cost with another family.

Overall it was okay. Didnt get any housekeeping even after requesting it. One of the toliets did not flush well and clogged up. They have assigned parking spots and we werent able to park at least once because housekeeping parked their car in our spot.

This is probably our 6th or 7th trip here and it never disappoints. The place is clean, the resort is well maintained and there is so lush to do in and around the resort. We will be back this summer!

The bed was not comfortable but we were totally surprised that we had a suite! Especially with the price we paid!

The property was pretty and people were nice, but it was a very mediocre stay. The room is definitely spacious and the internet worked well. We were so impressed when we arrived.
However, we asked for two pillows and never got them. The dishwasher was broken and we had to call to get it fixed. The handicap shower was only zip tied to the rail instead of having proper holders to accommodate different heights. You had to have a hand on it at all times to get a shower. There were two rolls of toilet paper that had already been started and only one spare for 6 people. Again we called for extras and never got them. We were delighted that there was a washing machine and dryer, but the washer was crazy loud and the dryer wasn’t hooked up properly. The coffee maker was bizarre and we never did figure out how to clean it properly.
Our kids tried to use the pool, but it was at maximum capacity. Not their fault necessarily, but be aware that maximum capacity is like 38 people for the indoor pool and there’s only one for the entire complex. Fortunately they were able to use the mini golf.
We only stayed 3 nights in the middle of a longer trip. The location is EXCELLENT and if it hasn’t been for the list of annoyances above, I would have given 5 stars just for that.

Check in was easy, BUT, Odd question from concierge, if I was married and if my husband (not this trip) was with us (kids); made me feel uneasy. Bedroom window in unit 97 was not lockable (warped?) and opened several inches.....a make do window stop had been screwed into the bottom seal to keep it from opening all way; also made me feel uneasy. Main door strike plate had been so hollowed out that I wondered if it would even hold if someone tried to break in. Nice grounds, room was clean, I just felt uneasy with these several things combined.

The Hilton Estates resort in the Jamestown Yorktown, Williamsburg area was the nicest hotel experience I have ever had in my life. I highly recommend it to everyone.

This was our second stay and we really enjoy the condos and the price range it falls in. The location is perfect and the overall place is beautiful. We have not taken advantage of the amenities, i.e. pool or children's activities, but that seems amazing for families with younger children. The condo itself is very clean, just a bit outdated, i.e. the oven top was very scratched at both placed we stayed, and the dishwasher was very loud. I'm not sure the last time the carpets were steamed cleaned? The items in the condo were basic but it was nice not to travel with pots and pans, I would suggest bringing any specialty knives or dishes, as the dish wears are limited. All in all I highly recommend staying here and we will likely be back. I know it makes it harder to maintain, but I would pay extra if pets were allowed. Maybe they could allot a few of the condos for people travelling with pets?

Hotel is netter than photos. Friendly staff, spacious accomodation and great indoor pool. The restaurant could have more options.

I’d give four stars if you were only staying in the room and not using any of the facilities. Restaurant- do not go. Drunk, loud people at the bar. Food was inedible and took forever. Pool at an insane amount of people, none of which knew how to act. Landscaping was in parking space and had to wait about 20 min for security to come ask them to leave which is fine but when you’ve traveled all day with kids, you don’t want to sit there for twenty minutes.

Unexpected resort fee added at time of check-in. 28.00. Everything else is grand. Still worth the money.

Good experience over all. The bed was kinda hard, but not too bad. The setting was great and the unit well maintained. The only reason we review it lower is due to the concierge. After check in they try to get you signed up for a presentation with a promise they will cancel your bill if you attend. So, if you sign up, even if you are not sure you are going, they charge you $20 just for signing up and they do not tell you that in advance. When we asked about the unknown charge, we were not greeted with friendliness at all. They were very ugly.
