Explore the tree lined streets with mature plant species in the neighbors gardens and take a short walk to embrace the views of Historic Pensacola Bay and the unforgettable undulations of Bayou Texar. Make the most of our complimentary beach bag, complete with a beach blanket, towels, and valuable beach safety pointers for your enjoyment. Locale Perks: The walkable neighborhood includes locally owned breakfast, lunch and dinner restaurants ranging in style from diners to fine dining; a precious hometown grocery store offers everything you may need including a gift shop replete with the wares of local artists. Across from the grocery is a CVS Pharmacy, around the corner is a laundry, a nail salon, locally owned boutiques, a beer and wine bodega, pizza and more. Enjoy our locally owned, waterfront bar and restaurant atop the bluffs or our old school neighborhood dive bar. And most convenient of all is the Bayou Texar boat launch only a few steps–but out of ear shot–from the cottage. Bring your boat, we have free boat trailer parking! Go fishing in Pensacola! Or just walk down to see how serious Pensacola is about getting out on the water on a beautiful warm and sunny day. Boat Parking: Tailored to boating enthusiasts, our cottage stands as the ultimate option for a vacation rental with ample boat trailer parking. Watercraft parking should be through the back gate or front driveway only. No boat parking in the yard or on the street. (We do not guarantee your boat will fit; tree growth and other bushes may encroach. If you this may be an issue, please let us know before you arrive.) All fish cleaning should be done at the back driveway near the garage and all remains should be thoroughly cleaned up. Central Perks: Our complimentary coffee at the coffee bar along with a few treats will greet you upon your arrival with just enough sustenance to foster a recovery with out leaving the property in your first 12 hours. Beautiful little cottage near downtown with a large backyard. Would rent again.

My family enjoyed our fall break in this sweet cottage. It was close to everything, but allowed us to get away from everyone. We would definitely book again.

My sister and I went to Pensacola to visit family. We stayed at this lovely cottage for 5 nights. Everyone who saw it fell in love with it. No detail was too small to be charming!

We had a great time. We were there for my husbands birthday. Could use improvement on the Air conditioner. Every time we turned around it was 80 degrees in the house due to some setting on the thermostat. The beds were hard as a rock so we ended up sleeping in the living room on pull out couch. It was cooler in the living room. Other than that issue we had no complaints

Quiet and peaceful stay all the amenities of being home away from home

This home is cozy and comfortable. Has everything that you need. The yard area is very relaxing. Close enough to the beaches. We loved just walking the neighborhood. Nice neighborhood restaurant and ice cream shop.
Communication was great with Susan. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again if we return.

Location is perfect -- close access to downtown Pensacola and bay bridge to get you over to the beach. House was very clean and we loved the extra amenities like the Bluetooth speaker in the kitchen, the charcoal grill, owner's potted herb assortment. The home had many creature "comforts", like extra blankets for watching TV on the couch, champagne flutes for mimosas. The areas we wished were different were: 1) the temperature of the master bedroom. The hallway and main part of the home were noticeably cooler than the bedroom. A box fan might help circulate air into the master. 2) the ceiling fan in the bedroom makes a lot of noise and was distracting when trying to fall asleep. 3) No curtains in the master bedroom (just wood slat blinds). I'm a light-sensitive sleeper, so this was hard for me. 4) No dinner-sized plates. 5) No laundry detergent on-hand. A Tide pod or 2 would've been great. Overall, we would certainly consider here again. It really fit our needs.

The Twin Oaks cottage was adorable and so cozy. We had everything we needed and the neighborhood was precious. Very uber-friendly. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was so fresh and clean. We also LOVED the smart TV and bluetooth speaker in the kitchen...it made getting ready to go out so much fun. It rained for most of our trip so we were disappointed to not be able to use all of the outdoor space but it looked like a great spot for morning coffee :)

It was very comfortable. Wasn't much privacy in the front at night with no blinds. Easy check in and out.. My grandson enjoy the space outside. 😀

We had a wonderful time. The house is a lovely cottage only minutes from the beach. It has lots of natural light and an amazing back yard. The decor is chic and inviting. We typically stay in Destin, but loved our time in Pensacola so much that we will be coming back to Pensacola instead.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! Communication was excellent from our initial booking questions through the end of our stay. Susan was always quick to respond and was extremely helpful. The location is perfect for a quick drive downtown or to the beach. The property is well maintained and we always felt right at home. We loved spending time in backyard for morning coffee and evening relaxation. Susan even had complimentary coffee and waffles for us-how thoughtful! We will definitely be back when staying in Pensacola.

Awesome location with easy access to the beach and downtown. We recommend breakfast at Aunt Katie’s daily. Lol If your schedule allows a morning bay cruise and Blue Angels practice will not disappoint.

We had a brief 2-night stay in Pensacola at this lovely cottage. The place was clean, inviting, and had everything we needed. The backyard and patio were perfect for a morning or afternoon drink with a book. Susan was very responsive to our questions before the visit and her guidebook at the house answered any questions we might've had during our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I had a great visit in Pensacola! Awesome property!! However it was quite cold during that time and we could not enjoy the great outdoors. Our daughter and her husband came over from PCB and stayed 2 nights with us. Downside -Only 1 bath which is pretty standard with many of the older homes. Definitely would stay at this property again— good location—and safe area.

Amazing home! Perfect location! Clean, comfortable, + close to everything! The backyard is huge, plenty of room for the kiddos to play. We slept so good on the comfy beds. I wish I could give more than 5 stars; we highly recommend this spot, and plan to make it a regular stop for our Pensacola visits. Be back soon!

We stayed a second time at this wonderful house during a recent visit to relatives. Our more complete review after our first stay is listed above.

Twin Oaks Cottage is super cute with an incredible back yard with huge live oak trees and patio areas. The house was perfect for our visit - convenient to all the fun & interesting areas of Pensacola and decorated with interesting art and artifacts local to the area. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had what we needed (although we ate out most of the time because there are great places super close to the house!) We enjoyed morning walks in the neighborhood with water views, cool properties and beautiful trees and flowering bushes. We will definitely be back to enjoy the backyard and the herb garden. Thank you Susan for any easy rental process and for sharing the historical info and local restaurant details!

The extras:
The decor of this house is fun. From the dishes to interesting artwork to the many fossils on stands, we enjoyed discovering it all. The back yard is beautiful with a large deck, a fire pit, and a chiminea. String lights make the area welcoming at night.
The house is located near a Publix grocery and several nice diners. The neighborhood provides a great place to walk or run.

We loved the welcome amenities of a well stocked coffee bar, bottled water and crossiants! That was a nice surprise. Their herb garden on the back patio smelled wonderful while we enjoyed our morning coffee. We would highly recommend staying here again. Everything was as described and more! A bonus for us, there was restaurants in a reasonable walking distance from the cottage. Beautiful quiet neighborhood as well.
