The Mouzinho 134 building is located in the historic center of Porto, in the heart of an UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Thanks to its excellent location, it’s very accessible, so you’ll have no trouble exploring the city.

Just a 5-minute walk away, you’ll find São Bento train station, a taxi stand, and the subway station (São Bento – yellow line).

Porto’s downtown, the most vibrant part of the city, is just as close.
There you’ll find countless shops offering everything from traditional goods to international brands, as well as several art galleries showcasing the works of some of Portugal’s finest artists.

On Rua das Flores and Rua Trindade Coelho, you’ll also find many jewelry stores. In the same building as your apartment, you’ll find a handicraft shop featuring traditional products from northern Portugal.

There’s a wide variety of places to grab a snack in the middle of the day. We recommend Ateneia, Leitaria da Quinta do Paço, and Majestic.

If you’re looking for nightlife, Galerias de Paris Street is a well-known spot where you can find some of the hottest venues in the city.

For lunch or dinner, you’ll find a wide variety of options, ranging from the charming, family-owned Infante Restaurant (a 3-minute walk toward the river) to the trendy, Michelin-starred DOC.

Starting from Mouzinho 134 on foot, there are several monuments to visit, such as the Palácio da Bolsa, the Church of São Francisco, or the Clérigos Tower—all less than 15 minutes away, through Porto’s most distinctive and beautiful streets.

If you continue toward the Douro River, you’ll reach the Ribeira district, and after crossing the stunning D. Luiz Bridge, you’ll find the Porto Wine Cellars, where wine testings and tours are available.

By train, you can easily reach the beaches of Miramar (with a golf course), Aguda (a small fishing harbor), Granja (with its seawater pool), and Espinho (with a casino, golf course, and a large local fair on Mondays).

Getting There and Back

- From the airport:
The best and cheapest way to get to the apartment from the airport is by metro. Once you exit São Bento Metro Station, look for Rua Mouzinho da Silveira (a large avenue leading down toward the river). Walk along Rua Mouzinho da Silveira, and after approximately 350 meters, you should find door number 134 (on your left). This walk should take about 45 minutes.
You can also take an Uber.

- From the train
. If you’re coming by train from Lisbon, your destination station will be Porto–Campanhã. While still inside the station, look for the train heading to São Bento. Take that train (no need to buy another ticket—the one you already have is still valid) and get off at São Bento. After that, leave São Bento Train Station and look for Rua Mouzinho da Silveira (a wide avenue leading down toward the river). Walk along Rua Mouzinho da Silveira, and after approximately 350
