Located right in the middle of downtown, the building is a very cool historic building with lots of character. It was also a pretty surprisingly quiet atmosphere for being downtown. The rooms spaced out and no one being under or above you was also nice as you didn't hear doors and such noises either. I loved the privacy factor of self-check-in and access to refills for toilet paper, towels, etc. for the room without having to contact someone. The provided snacks were definitely a nice little add-on as well when I just wanted some water or a quick snack but was wanting to stay in a little longer. Definitely recommend it if you need a place to stay in Roanoke.

The rooms are spacious, and the hotel is very nice. The beds are comfortable. Really everything you could want in a hotel on a basic level
The walls are thin in this hotel, you can hear coughing and talking from all around. And you are in a fairly busy area of Roanoke.

Great place to stay in downtown Roanoke. I wish I could slide down the fire pole

This was the most interesting place I’ve ever stayed. Very clean, brand new everything, free snacks and drinks. Great location. The only downside, people from the restaurant came upstairs and were loud and the upstairs space was shown before 8.

Gorgeous renovated fire house. Loved the soaring high ceilings.

Property was very nice. Kleenex in the room would be appreciated. Also two hangers in the closet seems a bit thin. The people next to us in room 6 played loud music and were talking quite loud until very late. People these days are very inconsiderate of others. That’s not the property’s fault but maybe there should be a sign listing quite hours? Not that they would have honored it. Sadly.

What a find! Luxury in a repurposed firehouse. Lovely rooms, a great bar & bistro, all super friendly and newly restored.

The place is beautiful and neat. We stayed here on our second night of driving the blue ridge parkway. Staff was great. Secured parking next door and the restaurant in the fire station was amazing.

Extremely nice. We love it. Just wish the air conditioning was not so loud.

Beautifully remodeled old Firehouse!! All the provided amenities were great! Very relaxing night. Although the place was fully booked never saw or heard another soul.

Beautiful clean rooms in a super sheik property. Would definitely recommend! Only thing I would add is ironing boards and irons in the rooms. That is nitpicking though as I throughly enjoyed my stay here.

Growing up in this area, it’s so refreshing to have this boutique hotel to rest and recharge. My parents live in Bedford and I loved the convenience to amenities and great restaurants in downtown Roanoke. We are an interracial couple, sometimes it’s hard to find a place that feels welcoming. Downtown Roanoke hits the spot. And the bed is awesome!!!
