This property was in a great location, about 15-20 minute walk from the main square. It served us well for the couple of days we were there. Beds were very comfy and TV worked well!
This property could use some minor maintenance eg. towel railing falling off wall, toilet flush kept getting stuck. However, these were only minor and didn’t ruin our stay in anyway. Would be nice if kitchen had some salt and pepper, and maybe some oil or basics for cooking.

The instructions about the door codes were clear and everything worked the first time even though we arrived in the middle of the night. The size is good and the marquise was pleasant with big windows that open to the outside (albeit to a somewhat soulless alleyway). The kitchen facilities are basic but sufficient (one pot, one pan a couple of plates and glasses, etc.). The fridge was already cold when we arrived. The house itself is charming and traditional. The shower is quite nice, modern with good water pressure. There's a third, foldaway bed in the closet off the marquise. Don't know why exactly but we loved the window between the kitchen and the bedroom - we ate dinner at the little table and amused ourselves passing the dishes through the window. Good value for money overall, considering how high prices are these days.
The door to the apartment itself needs to be pulled shut very, very hard or else it will spontaneously spring open. We unknowingly spent one night with the front door of the apartment open. That's our most important criticism. The bed was hard and not particularly comfortable although better than some places I've stayed. I also would have appreciated some sort of bolster pillow to be able to sit in bed and read. The sofa cushion has a large burn/tear mark in it. When I pulled the cushion off because I was wondering if I could flip it, it was that clear nobody had cleaned under those cushions for a while. We were there during a weekend of perfect weather. I wonder what it would be like during the summer, since there was little opportunity for a cross-breeze. The neighborhood is okay, close enough to walk to the city center if you don't mind hiking a bit. But it feels rather run-down / "wrong side of the tracks". It's Portugal so I never felt unsafe, but it's the kind of place where there are a lot of closed-down businesses. A couple of streets over it was much better - a little like the difference between the east and west sides of Almirante Reis in Lisbon. I wondered why the owners hadn't taken just a few more steps (not expensive ones!) to make the place nicer: fix the sofa cushion; replace the awful old Ikea box that lies on the floor of the bathroom with something closer to a vanity; put a mattress pad on the bed.
