Central location, could walk everywhere
Could hear the water running when people in other rooms were showering, but it didn’t last too long

The location of the auberge is fantastic - very close to all main attractions. Also, the price you pay at this property for the location is great. My quiet room was very quiet indeed and had everything it needed. It was also clean. I also arrived out of hours but they emailed me how to get into the property and where to find my key beforehand so that went smoothly.
In general for the price I paid, I didn't expect a spacious room. The bathroom could have used another shelf to put your toiletries on it.

This hotel really exceeded our expectations. The rooms were small, but very cozy and comfortable. It is located right in the center of the old town. Renovations were going on at the time of our stay, so this place will be even better in the future.

Convenient clean location.
All was good.

The location is really good and the hotel was in general clean.
The bed was really uncomfortable, made a lot of noises while we moved from one side to the other.

The location is really good. The aesthetic is excellent
The base of the stairs running above my bed. I didn't find a towel in my room and couldn't get it since there was no one at the reception since 8PM.

great location
old, facilities outdated, and tiny spaces
8.0
location, parking right across street, ease of checking in except for language barrier
I would have liked to receive the email with codes to get in and procedure a couple days before, as I did not have a connection and therefore was unable to read the instructions and information on the day we checked in

The location is fantastic - just a few minutes walk down the same road as the Château Frontenac - ideal as a jumping off point to explore the city, at a budget price.
The room was a decent size, with a large and comfortable bed. There's a sink and a basic shower cubicle in the room, but the toilet is shared with the rest of the rooms on the floor.
After hours access was possible, with a touch pad front door, and key boxes at reception - perfect for a late arrival. There's some basic kitchen facilities too (kettle, fridge, microwave) in the communal area, and a snack dispenser.
The facilities are basic, and in some areas in need of some attention and improvement. The shower in particular felt like it was in need of an upgrade. Sharing a single toilet at the end of the corridor was a little odd, but obviously none of the rooms on the first floor have the plumbing or space to be properly "en suite". It was good not to have to share a shower room however.

Location is great. Very central and right across the street from restaurant La Buche. I loved the big windows and window seats. The room and bathroom were clean and the staff were very accommodating with our request for extra towels/bedding. TV and Netflix worked! The room was as expected based on other reviews and pictures.
The outlets were a little loose but still worked for charging our phones and computers.

The location was phenomenal, right down the street by Chateau Frontenac, in the midst of it all. Great value for the money. Nothing more a solo traveler could need. They were helpful with late check in instructions and very polite.
The Wifi got worse the more people there were in the hotel, but who wants to stay in long enough either way.

Good location
Paid over 300 dollars for 2 nights! One suggestion for you !!! Never come
1 internet cannot be used -picture attached
2 room lock is unsafe
3 every time!! use the car ( drive out of the parking lot and come back) need to pay 18 dollars
Not 18 per day. 18 per day only if you never drive the car out
4 washrooms are extremely cold -been solved later
5 limited places even cannot open luggage
(I booked the largest room in this hotel came with a sofa bed and a regular bed. I bring regular luggage with me and I cannot find a place in the room I can lay down the luggage and open it)
6 No elevator so I bring my luggage myself upstairs.
7 quilt pulling
8 rude hotel managers- even yell at customer service

everything besides the pictures and descriptions on booking.com… totally different, I ordered 398 square feet double bed room with sofa for extra extra money, they give me even not 150 square feet twin bed with dirty sofa… while I requested and showed stuff my order information, he told me: he had no idea about book.com’s description…I wanted to cancel, he said no money will return since I already paid before I went to the room… but I couldn’t live that small, dirty, cold and even no light in the washroom .. especially that was my first time took my mom on vacation… so I have to pay extra extra money on the nearby hotel at a cold windy night

Well located, nice staff, microwave and kettle in the lobby
the bedsheets really need upgrading as they were old, worn out and kept messing around as it is the old type that should be attached under the mattress and was not , bathroom cleaning-ness was not amazing and the wifi was non-existent, the place needs some love and would be a nice spot.

Great location and good bathroom, clean basic comfortable room. Wifi not that great. Good value for money.
The wifi in the room isn’t great. The door was not that easy to lock.

I had a large room with en suite bathroom and a sitting area with two windows. Though it could have been noisy in the hall, it wasn't bad at all due to the "off season" timing of my visit; also, my room was in the back, away from the busy Rue St. Louis. The room was just what I needed.
Everything was excellent. There was a fridge, microwave, and kettle for tea/coffee in the lobby; it would be a great addition to have a small kettle with tea/coffee in the rooms, as in the UK. But that's just a wish.

Location was good but not if you drive anything bigger than a car. No parking at hotel
The condescending tone that is used constantly with English speaking guests is very offensive. Every question I asked was met with " you're in Quebec now" and a look like I'm stupid. I asked reasonable questions but it was clear the issue was my language. If they don't want English guests they are going about it exactly right. I will not be back

Location was good.
Owners were SUPER rude on the phone, and staff in person (minus one lady who tried her best to be helpful)
Had an emergency come up, was told by the staff I couldn’t cancel without paying so instead of staying two nights, my sister and I stayed one night.
Upon arrival they told us they would in fact shift our dates a day, and we paid for the rooms and all was great.
A day later they chased us down to add additional costs which they neglected to tell us at check in or before arrival.
Sister and I had to vacate (we didn’t budget for additional expenses) but not before we paid them another 18 for the extra night of parking.
Truly horrible. The owners will nickel and dime you, PLUS will be super rude.

Location. Price. Clean room
No on site parking but that's expected considering it's down town.

The location is great and the mattress was comfortable. Wifi was good. Has air conditioning and a private sink in the room. The towels were good quality and clean.
It's too expensive for what it is. To start with, it's difficult to enter if you have luggage that is not a backpack, as there are plenty of narrow stairs and nobody to help you with it. It's also noisy and very old, in urgent need of renovations. The corridors are narrow and they leave old furniture along. There are not enough bathrooms for the number of guests it holds, so they're always unclean. The room itself is small and has a weird configuration, with a step right in the middle of the room, under/across the bed. Old pillows (2 inside one pillow case, to make it a more or less regular size...).

Great location. Had the vibe I was hoping for in historic /walled city. Close to lots of restaurants. Able to walk goe business and concerts I booked in advance. Shower in room was enjoyed. Shared bathroom was always available and well kept.
