Our stay was below average for what was paid and would not stay at this hotel again for our next rip.

The location

Constantly having to ask for basic things like a kettle in the room or for it to be cleaned there was nothing in the mini bar the breakfast menu was basic for the money paid to stay. Housekeeping was horrendous counter staff was ok

Our Fav in Midtown - stayed here many times

Great location for us. Easy to catch a train anywhere in the city from this area. 10 minute walk to Times/Theatres. Easy access to Central Park. Good coffee within 5 minutes walk. Randolfs is classic spot. Staff are great. Our fav spot from a cost/benefit standpoint in Midtown. Classic hotel.

Nothing really. Always delivers. Always a fav place for us.

I enjoyed the weekend experience.

I liked the room. It was excellent. The room size was great, roomy. I loved the seating arrangement.

The bathroom was a little small and the fan was too noisy. Cellphone reception wasn’t good.

La colazione è a pagamento e non ne ho usufruito. In bagno non ci sono le cuffiette per la doccia e mancano i bicchieri per spazzolino e dentifricio. Ottima l’idea della tavola e ferro da stiro. Ascensore sottodimensionato per la dimensione dell’hotel.

Scivolo per il passaggio delle valigie, non farei pagare il deposito bagagli.

Très bel hôtel

Je suis fidèle à cet hôtel depuis des années en raison de sa situation idéale, et de son personnel impeccable. J'ai passé une semaine dans une suite très belle.

Le seul truc qui ne va pas : la baignoire est tellement peu profonde qu'on ne peut baigner que ses jambes. C'était déjà comme ça dans la chambre que j'occupais en oct. 2022, mais franchement, pour une suite, ça laisse à désirer.

Ci vorrebbe una bella "svecchiatina" a tutta la struttura e diventerebbe un must per chi visita NY.

Posizione strategica per visitare NY; vicino a fermata Metro, a 2 passi da Times Square e Rockfeller center raggiungibili a piedi in 10-15 minuti, dietro il MOMA. Perfetto per turismo. Bello il pub annesso all'hotel. Letti comodissimi e servizio camere efficiente.

Arredamento un po' retrò. Non puoi far pagare il deposito bagagli ai clienti, anche se solo per 3 € e tra l'altro accettati solo cash. Deve essere un servizio incluso in quanto importante. Molto cara per i miei canoni (ma non per NY) la colazione continentale (25€). Se con famiglia però diventa una cifra importante. Aria condizionata in camera molto rumorosa, per fortuna non serviva. Moquette in camera abbastanza logora e non proprio senza macchia.

A tired worn down hotel clinging to life on the road to being a dump!

The lobby leads you to believe this is an upscale hotel. It is all down hill from there.

The staff is not well trained. They treat customers as an annoyance. It was like me being there was a bother and the fact that I used a booking agency even made it worse. They did not like their job, and they did not like their customers.

Perfect location but hotel needs to be updated!

The hotel was in a really good location, easy to walk or take public transportation to all the main points of the city. The beds were very comfortable and the room spacious.

The room needs a major remodeling. The rug was old and dirty, the curtains (including the bathroom) were a little dirty and needed to be changed immediately.

Hotel mit Charm und Geschichte

Unsere Suite war gross. Jedoch war das Bad sehr klein. Das gesamte Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Dafür hat es Charm und sehr viel Geschichte. Leider hatte unsere Suite gar keine Aussicht. Wir sahen aus allen Fenstern nur Wände (Backsteine) der angrenzenden Häuser. So konnten wir auch nicht erkennen, ob es regnete oder die Sonne scheint. Das Bett war sehr bequem.

Das Bad entspricht nicht zu einer Suite. Zudem sieht man nur Backsteine wenn man aus den zahlreichen Fenstern schaut. Die Lüftung ist etwas zu laut und lässt sich nicht abstellen.

Heerlijke vakantie gehad en prima hotel!

De kamers werden goed schoongemaakt en waren goed verzorgd!

Twee twijfelaars met z’n vieren was wel wat krap. Ik had niet goed gelezen waarschijnlijk dacht dat het twee tweepersoonsbedden waren in plaats van twijfelaars.

Great location, friendly helpful staff, lovely room, comfy beds, all exactly as we had hoped for. Charming old fashioned style hotel with lots of character, but with modern facilities.

Would be a true gem, but needs renovation

We stayed at this hotel for the first time in 2017, and the condition was a bit different than it is now. This time, we got a free room upgrade which was fantastic. The location is great, and the hotel is very historical, but now it is a bit too old with faulty furniture. It is such a pity because it would be a really great hotel in an awesome spot!

We made the receptionist aware of a broken soap dispenser in the bathroom, as well as the leaking faucet and the plugs in the bathroom did not work. Also, the bathroom sink was a bit low so not that easy to use. For a one night stay it was very comfortable, but these things can bother if you stay for a week!

As a family with young adults we were busy walking, sightseeing, eating breakfast or brunch and fabulous evening meals.

The location is excellent. Fantastic city strolling for shopping, NY ambience and atmosphere and also so easy for Central Park. The subway choice is wide with stations within a block for longer trips at either day or nighttime.

It may be a little staid but the friendly staff and great location make up for that.
