Everything and Robert in reception was so helpful.

convenient to convention center
VERY LOUD traffic noises; difficult to sleep; psychotic neighbor upstairs throwing things & making noises around 3:00 am.

The location was convenient for me, both to travel to the airport and also in a reasonable walking distance from some restaurants/pubs downtown.
Breakfast was very poor: some bread, muffins, toast, and only butter and cream cheese as spreads—no vegetables, eggs, fruits, or anything that resembles a healthy breakfast. The maintenance in the room was very poor, especially in the bathroom, where items where wobbly and the venting fan didn't work.

Not expensive and an ok location. Sam, who seems to work early or later in the day at the reception was very helpful.
The guy who checked me in, who seems to be at the front desk during the day, was extremely arrogant and condescending. The way he spoke to me was plain rude. It was like a criminal checking into a jail. First, he couldn’t find my reservation. He finally found it, but the type of room I booked, a single room with one bed, was not available despite the fact my reservation had been confirmed. He somehow found a double room with 2 beds, which I don’t like because 2 beds take up too much space, and showed a price that was slightly higher than my confirmation. I showed him my booking confirmation to show him the difference. He didn’t even let me say a word, and threatened to cancel my reservation if I didn’t take this room and the revised price. Then he told me the tax rate had changed. If there was a legitimate reason, he should have explained it in a professional manner. His negative vibes didn’t go away for my entire stay, ruining it. The double room I got was the filthiest I have ever seen in developed countries: previous guests hair all over the floor. All kinds of hair: long hair, short hair, facial hair after shaving… and all the dust, dead insects, bits of food …. I got down on my hands and knees and thoroughly wiped the entire floor corner to corner, edge to edge 3 times before I could take off my street shoes off and walk on it. And dried up rice pasted on the leather chair and the musty smell of the shower curtain… I did the job of their cleaning staff.

I have been charged extra money in my credit card and I didn’t use any extra facilities. I would like to know the reason for this extra charge

The TV kept cutting out. The maintenance man fixed it very quickly. It kept happening, but I was able to fix it myself.

The blanket wasn't very warm & there wasn't another one. I had to turn heat up but a warmer blanket would have been nice...
