The location is great. The bed was comfortable. The room was dark so we could sleep.

We rented a car from the airport. We planned to book a one night stay then drive the next few days to Yellowstone national Park. The rental car was crucial to us for this trip. The next morning, we found out our car’s battery was dead. We cannot thank the staff from the Hyatt Place enough. Mr. John and Robby, the manager and the staff, took their time helping us jump start the car. It has saved us a lot of time, relieved our anxiety and they have shown us their generosity in their kind acts. Thank you so much!

The room was as expected - comfortable and clean. I also liked the little gym and hot tub, as well as the free breakfast with a wide variety of options.
The front desk staff was not very friendly. When I arrived at the hotel to check-in, there wasn't anyone at the front desk. After waiting awhile, I walked around to find someone and ending up poking my head in the staff room (the door was open) and saying "hello" a couple times. A woman finally came out and gave me a dirty look. I asked her if there was a problem and she said I should have gone in the staff room (I didn't). I asked her how long she thought I should have waiting before looking for help, and she said that she felt "scared" that someone was looking for her. It was a very strange and uncomfortable way to start my visit.

The location was great. Just a 10-minute walk to Temple Square. Easy car parking in parking lot behind hotel. The suite had a large sitting area and nice kitchenette.

Could have used a grab bar in the shower

The location was close enough to the Salt Palace to be able to walk despite the weather.
The beds could use a new mattress.

way too expensive

The hotel is beautiful and is pretty quiet. The rooms are spacious.
The people working there were very interesting. With such a nice place, I’d think there would be more professional people running the front desk. The breakfast was not good. The hot tub was technically open but when going out to take a look, the area was in shambles and seemed completely forgotten about so we didn’t bother. The parking lot where I had to pay to park… isn’t covered nor maintained. I slipped on the ice twice I just getting to my car. There was no salt and nothing was shoveled. We won’t be staying here again

This was our first time staying at a Hyatt and it blew us away. The room was huge and spacious and had a great layout and was also very modern and comfortable. One of my favorite hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in, hands down.
This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way.
