This was a very clean and reasonably comfortable cottage that was conveniently located in the middle of Texas wine country. It was definitely a place for couples to enjoy.
The ceiling vent for the AC/heating was directed directly onto the bed. This created a somewhat unpleasant blast of air on us when lying in bed.

Fantastic, true Texan experience, highly recommend!

So peaceful. Very clean and beautiful inside and outside. The porch with rocking chairs was the icing on the cake. Also we had gate access to the next door winery!
They thought of everything to make our stay comfortable.

I loved the privacy and how peaceful it was
We couldn’t get the fireplace to work or understood how to operate the music properly. Would like to see more information on how to operate

The party barn was pretty special! The beds were cozy and the bathroom was so big I was able to do my morning yoga in there without disturbing my snoozing travel companion 😄
Less a complaint about the property itself and more a big picture issue with the surrounding area: for a place that is Very focused on imbibing alcohol, it was the opposite of pedestrian-friendly. Deciding to be responsible and noting the close proximity of at least 5 wineries to our lovely accommodations, we decided to walk. The absence of trails, and even of grass in one area, meant we looked and felt like we were hitchhiking down the shoulder of 290 (perhaps evocative of a certain Bohemian or Kerouacian romance, but I'm more of a Fitzgerald type myself). I would encourage the community to consider the possible benefits of investing in a modest network of paths between properties to minimize driving while intoxicated, or at least to facilitate the safety of those who opt out of doing so. Food for thought (another amenity that seemed curiously lacking in this Cabernet-cloaked, Bordeaux-besotted region...)

Loved the cottage, the covered sitting area with fireplace, chairs, fire pits, and all the lighting!! The heater worked great!! The beds were comfortable. The interior design was beautiful!
We were told the toilet worked, but it didn't flush. There was only 1 towel for 2 people. We totally understand it was because of the freeze, so we managed with the toilet not flushing. The 1 towel we just delt with it. I do say these 2 issues will not stop me from returning. I loved the place!! I almost didn't want to write about the toilet and towel issue. This cottage is well worth it!! Can't wait to return!

Assistant housekeeper spoke no English and I had to assist her in communicating with mgr by translating online. I was very tired and had to leave soon. Assistant housekeeper was understandably unhappy not having combination to other cabin and I was as hospitable as I could be while needing to pack up and go. Very unnerving for us both. Not restful stay.

Location and the beds were good, cute cabin.
The coffee pot leaked and the neighbors were loud when they came in.

We enjoyed the layout of the cottage and the available "party barn". It was serene and quiet at night. Parking was easily accessible and access using gate codes was easy.
The cottage lacked a few kitchen/dining items that we ended up buying ourselves. Small items, but significant, like dish towels (no dishwasher so we hand-washed dishes) and measuring spoons.

Close to multiple vineyards. Easy checking in and out.

Treats were delicious.
Stayed in duplex cottage. Door separating rooms does not have a tight seal. Gap allows the other room to be seen. Unable to walk on that side of cottage in night clothes. Also, fire pits out of propane. Too cold to sit outside.

We loved our cottage as it was the perfect size for just the two of us! Area is far enough from town to be quiet/away from traffic, but close enough to go back and forth to Main St during the day.
