Hidden gem of Pienza with thoughtful and welcoming staff.

Food was AMAZING here! Gave us the option to dine in our room’s garden, gazebo or practically anywhere we wanted. Highly recommend the handmade Pici (typical pasta of this region) or the roast chicken! Our room was also lovely, with regular cleaning and turn down service. Staff were accessible but not intrusive. Great value for money in my opinion.

Staff was amazing, warm and welcoming. Julia and Gabriella are a treasure.

Don’t book the standard room. Too small and dark. Breakfast was unremarkable. No coffee machine in the room.

Superb

L’Olmo is beautiful and clean, it was a bonus that we had a scenic view from our room. The breakfast spread was amazing.. Everything was perfect, including the staff who went out of their way to accommodate our requests. I would highly recommend L’Olmo to other travellers!

Best place in val d’Orcia

This is hands down the BEST place to stay in val d’Orcia. Every detail is perfect. Beautiful heated pool (28*C) with stunning view over the valley and Monte Amiata.

Absolutely amazing!

The staff was amazing! The went above and beyond daily to make our stay even more enjoyable. I will continue to recommend this hotel to friends and family. The pool felt private and relaxing. The food was restaurant quality and freshly prepared.

It was great, very romantic but also maybe lacks that extra spark

Breakfast was good but we didn't like we had to order it one day before.

The driveway is pebbled. The staff are few, and it sometimes shows, even if they really try.

Wonderful villa with excellent service!

Breakfast, room and service were excellent.

Dinner was disappointing as there were not many choices. Understandable because we were in rural Tuscany but the fact that we had to pre-order it meant that we couldn't really add to our order.

One night at L‘Olmo

Great Staff, took care of everything. Great Pool, calm and silent. Perfect for couples. Would stay longer next time.

Breakfast is included but just sweet and fruits. For salty Breakfast you‘ll be charged.

Nice small hotel nice for a relaxing holiday at the infinity pool with friendly staff, super comfy pool chairs and very clean rooms

Unfortunately, for this price category we expected a bit more and think the value for money is not best in the area - things that could be improved were food which was good but not exceptional (e.g. lunch sandwiches or breakfast, at which you have to pay extra for e.g. eggs, cheese or ham, which I would not expect for this price), the check-in (e.g. no welcome drink or water) and missing flexibility in service (e.g. no option to get add‘l fruits at breakfast or need to pre-order dinner choices in the morning). Overall we enjoyed our stay, but think the hotel could work on these points to justify its price point

Exceptional

Stunning location very close to Pienza with breathtaking views. The property itself is beautiful and everything is absolutely immaculate. Service was great too. Nearby Monticchiello is also worth a visit.

Breakfast was very good with a selection of fresh juices and fruit- as a very minor point (and this could just be personal taste) I thought the croissants & pastries could have been better.

Heaven in Tuscany
