El hotel está muy bien situado, las habitaciones limpias, el personal muy atento, el desayuno muy bien y en un entorno agradable. Sin duda recomiendo el hotel para una estancia en Luxor.

Excellent location, much nicer than being on the East Bank. Shops and amenities around, especially Mohammad's bike shop round the corner where we rented bikes to visit Valley of the Kings etc....Much, much better than going in a taxi and not too far.

Very close to the public ferry.
Room was nice, including the terrace.
Nice and cheap restaurant at the rooftop.
Nice view from the rooftop.
Had to change my dates at the last minute and the hotel was very accomodating.
There were some extra blankets in the wardrobe but they were very smelly.

A delightful little oasis boutique style hotel located perfectly away from the bustling streets but with easy access to supermarkets, pharmacy. The cuisine prepared by Hagag was exceptionally delicious - the best meals we had during our whole trip! Thank you for your warm hospitality. The perfect hotel to unwind listening to the chirping of the birds and complete our majestic trip to Egypt. We look forward to our next visit!
Everything was perfect.

the entrance and location is at the end of a street with a lot of sand and really local people.

Room was very clean and large. The breakfast was served whenever we wanted, including very early the day we left, and while fairly basic was a good start to the day with some colder foods. Staff was accommodating, when our AC was making loud sounds they said if they couldn't fix it they could move us to another room. The location is great, an easy local ferry ride over the river but nice and quiet.
The shower was quite small for how large the bathroom is, otherwise no complaints.

The hotel is really beautiful with nice rooms and a little garden, which creates a quiet and peaceful atmosphere to relax. Also the owner was very friendly, organized a trip for us and gave us some very helpful tips because of the holidays during our stay. The breakfast was fresh and generous, also they even made us breakfast boxes to go on our last morning, because we had to leave before breakfast time.
The shower was very weak, which made it difficult to wash hair, but the second day it worked better. The location is nice to get to the outside attractions like valley of the kings etc, but a little bit far from the city centre with the temples and trainstation. Payment is only possible in cash, which was written before but we forgot about that, so we had to get money from a cash machine, which is not always easy.

The staff was very kind and the rooms were comfy and clean, with large private bathrooms. The hotel is well located (in a calm area while not far from west bank pier). We enjoyed a lot the large rooftop for breakfast and the garden, which is very agreeable to relax after an excursion day.

This is a great value hotel with friendly staff who are very accommodating. We were initially put in a very dark and dingy room with almost no light but when I asked to be put in a brighter room, we were shown to a second floor room with plenty of light, a private balcony and a pleasant aspect overlooking the garden which was full of singing birds in the mornings. The bed was a decent size and although the mattress was on the firm side, it was better than many Egyptian mattresses which tend towards the firm end of the scale. They were very happy to provide us with extra pillows. The reception was able to organize guides for us at very reasonable prices and organized coffee for us when we got up at the crack of dawn to beat the crowds to the valley of the kings and Karnak. While the location of the hotel in an unpaved back street seems at first to be offputting, it is quiet (a valuable asset in a country which can be very noisy) and never felt threatening. Additionally, it is within easy walking distance of the public ferry which takes you across the nile for just EGP5. All in all, a great find.
Although it worked, the pressure in the shower was quite poor to the extent that it made showering more difficult than it should be and made it impossible to wash long hair.

There is an old world charm about the place. The room I stayed and was really big and the bathroom is very big too. I was extremely comfortable staying there. My room was on the ground floor, so I had no problems accessing my room. It was quiet and safe for a solo, female traveler. I had forgotten my reading glasses when I checked out of the hotel, and the manager was very kind to have them sent to my next hotel. It is this kind of caring and service that make this place exceptional.
I liked everything about the property.

The owner was very friendly and had our back when our taxi driver tried to over charge us. Soon after checking us in, he went to the kitchen and cooked us a great meal.
The rooms were a good size and were well presented. Could comfortably fit 3 guys in a treble room. The area was quiet so we got a restful night's sleep.
The only issues.were it was a little hard to find and that there was no shower gel or shampoo, but apart from that no major issues.

We stayed on West Bank for 6 days and our hotel felt like home. Our hotel was about a 5 minute walk from the public ferry. We arrived late due to airplane, yet reception was ready for us and we were greeted kindly when we arrived. Our room had A/C as well as a fan; windows and doors leading to garden area (so quaint and beautiful) have screens on them. A sweet patio off of our room - has a table and 2 chairs and faces the garden. So quiet in this local neighborhood. Shower had hot water and good pressure. Hotel does laundry for a price when requested. They asked the night before what time we wanted breakfast each morning - if we had to leave early, they would prepare breakfast as needed. The food we had was good. The hotel and room were very clean. All men work at this hotel - we always felt safe and well taken care of.
Shower area is a bit small. Water drains slowly from shower.

Room was big, had a cute balcony, and I appreciate the pick up / drop off airport service. Staff were really nice and breakfast was great! One morning we had a very early flight, so a cute breakfast box was organised.
We didn't know we had to pay cash on arrival - there wasn't a ATM nearby. Thankfully we had enough USD to get us through.

The location is very peaceful and also near the ferry across the Nile to the east bank.
An excellent location for exploring the temples and tombs dotted all over the Theban hills behind the village
The staff are lovely.
It's very clean and the terrace is large and with views.
One the best things was the cooking of Hagag.
Everything he cooked was delicious but especially the fish tagine and the sauteed vegetables. Also the cooked from scratch french fries.
They serve wine and beer.
Very minor but a mirror in the bedroom would be good and somewhere to hang towels in the bathroom.

El Nakhil is a lovely hotel with courteous staff in an excellent location. Just minutes away from the Nile and the main historical sites of the west bank, the hotel is also tucked away from the intense tourist bustle of Luxor - all the service in the hotel felt very personal and catered to our needs. Would definitely stay again.
