Comfortabel op Umrah!

Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam (een speciaal bedankje hier voor Mustafa en Abdur Rahman). Locatie was wat verder van de grote moskee maar perfect geregeld met de shuttle bus. De kamer zelf was zeer ruim en comfortabel met maar liefst 3 badkamers!

Het was jammer dat we niet in het Asian restaurant konden eten

The room service was good, room was clean, good that the hotel had shops in the basement - very handy. Good and fast lifts. Good shuttle service too.

افخم فندق من ناحية الخدمات برمضان لو تبي سعر مقابل خدمة مقابل قرب المكان للحرم

انا اجي على الفندق للسنه الثالثة على التوالي برمضان، وصدقا السنه هذي غيييير الادارة صارت باحترافية عالية لا توصف، الخدمات مره اتسهلت بالرغم من حساسية الفترة الي هي نهاية العشر الاواخر، فاهنيهم بمجملهم ادارة، خدمات، مطعم

What would you do without electricity for 3 days? Worst experience ever in life

With checking in, we are placed in the dark, which continues for several days. there was no electricity in the whole tower 8 and the hotel refuses to move us, we meet without electricity, without AC in the warmest room. staff in the hotel did not take seriously and let us be staying in the dark. Second for payment have paid in advance via booking.com but unfortunately the hotel has taken one more time while at check-in. we have told them that payment has already been made through booking.com receipts showed but they do not accept. took long journey 26 days to get own money back from hotel with loss of exchange rate.

A spiritual stay

The room was spacious, a big bed with good linen. I appreciated that there were no deco cushions on the bed. For those who wanted same, they are located in the walking closet which is a great asset in the room. I also found the kitchenette interesting. The room is equipped with a great dining area for two persons. The shuttle service to Haram is efficient with a departure each 10 mins. Same applies for the return. The trip to Haram takes less than 5 mins. I had taken the breakfast package. Since they have different restaurants for different towers, it was never over crowded for breakfast. There are also some shops on the ground floor as well as on the first floor. Housekeeping service was also great. They came everyday at the time that was convenient to me.

When I reached the hotel, it was around 20:30, extremely tired from my long trip to reach Jeddah and travel to Makkah. The hotel is a bit confusing with different towers. It took me 10 mins to find out the reception. It is a real pain to do so with luggages. The taxi did not come to the reception. So the luggages have to be carried. Even while getting in the hotel staff will not help. It seems that tje luggage service was for some priviledge ones. At reception, i mentioned to the staff with a blunt attitude that I had a reservation on my name but he could not find it. I had to give evidence of my booking and when he was able to locate it on his system, he then greeted me. For some reasons my Amex card did not work. But i was able to pay with another card. The hotel didn't accept payment cash in euros. I had to wait to get my room which took about 30 mins. For breakfast there was a buffet which to my surprise did not have any omelette station. Only boiled eggs available for breakfast. The pastries are all commercially made and fruits on the buffet are mainly from Cans.

Excellent !

Le service de navette est excellent ( 4 min pour se rendre au haram et 24h/24h ), les chambres sont propres et spacieuses / le personnel est très gentil et souriant. Vraiment rien à redire.

Bell boys - Saifullah, Bilal, and Malik were absolutely amazing. The hotel itself was excellent.

Only problems 1. They provided only 4 mini water bottles a day despite me having an executive 2 Bedroom suite 2. Wifi was not great

My experience was not good

When i booked the room it was inclusive of breakfast but hotel said no to it. secondly when i checked in there was no power to the room as some repair work was going on. After spending 3 hours in the dark when i checked at reception, they were rude saying that is not their problem and electricity department is looking in to it. When i asked for room which has power they refused to do so. Just imagine in the current world staying in a 5 star hotel with no power and being refused to change the room was really suprise for me. I have travelled 17 countries but this was the worst experience. Food was not up to the mark . The only good thing was the room which was very spacious. To my surprise there was no room service for 2 days when i ordered food and also the dining was closed for few of the meals.

Poor communication and double charged.

Location and shuttle service to haram.

The property double charged me for the booking. They promised to refund the second charge to me, however it's been 1 month and the refund hasn't been sent to my bank account. They have now stopped responding to my messages and emails. Booking.com have had to get involved and the hotel also informed booking.com they have sent the payment, but the refund still hasn't come into my account.

Excellent experience

Our 4 bed room suit was clean and staff was very courteous, prompt service. Would love to come back with family. My son forgot his EarPods and he realised when we reached Madina Munawwarah. I’ve contacted Le Meridien and they found EarPods, excellent customer service, way to go!
