Great location and good layout. The driveway is very tough to navigate if you have cars with bikes on the back and overall, the space seemed like it could use some sprucing up. Broken fireplace, stained carpets, threadbare towels, etc.

Great location. Walkable to downtown Hood River. Close to the fruit loop and Mt Hood hikes. Clean hot tub with a beautiful natural cover. You can even see the top of Mt Hood from the roof.

Great house with beautiful views, great location to everything. Well stocked and easy to check in. I would stay here again .

Awesome large house with a very private hot tub. Nice place with everything we needed. Cozy place to stay we loved it. The driveway is EXTREMELY treacherous though. Would not want to drive it in the winter.

We loved our stay here! Close enough to walk to the bars, restaurants & shops downtown but feels secluded at the same time. The house itself is huge & beautiful with lots of outdoor space (esp. loved the view from the roof deck)! Driveway is a little tricky & steep (which wasn’t an issue in summer, especially if you’re comfortable backing up & don’t have large cars, but something to note for winter guests).

Great house and location! Views were spectacular. Only downside was the driveway. It was decently steep and required a sharp multi point turn to get to the garage. Other than the driveway I would recommend.

Beautiful property close to downtown. Large, spacious, and amazing views in every direction. Super convenient to getting to downtown hood river.

The house was great, clean and as described in the listing. Kitchen was reasonably well appointed. Easy walk down to downtown Hood River. Unfortunately we had two bats in the home on the first night of our stay. One was in a bedroom, which resulted in those people having to sleep in the living room because we couldn’t get the bat to leave through a window. Then another bat appeared in the living room and smacked one of our group in the face. The management company was not particularly helpful in dealing with this situation. So bottom line, it was a great house except for the bats and lack of help from the management company.

The house was great for our group of 7 women celebrating a friends 40th. Loved the location with trail access at the base of the driveway. The driveway is one of the steepest I’ve encountered, but wasn’t a problem for us. The view from the living room was awesome. Kitchen was stocked to meet our needs. It would have been nice to have an additional sleeping area on the top floor but we didn’t even end up using that area or the rooftop deck. The only suggestion would be blackout shades in the bedroom is always a nice option.

Spectacular views, I would recommend driving a small vehicle, driveway is crazy, home is beautiful, could use coat hooks, towel hooks in bathrooms, followed instructions for fireplace but it wouldn’t light, some end/coffee tables would be nice to place a beverage on, kitchen was nicely equipped. We really enjoyed the walking path right at bottom of driveway. Home is in a great location for visiting the downtown.

We booked our trip well in advance to stay at a different home. It snowed the day before and we were contacted by arrive and told that we could choose between two other homes because the one we had booked wouldn't be available with the snow in the drive apparently. The home we chose was a big modern home with lots of amenities and family friendly. The homes we were given the option of were small, outdated with less amenities and listed for cheaper then the home I booked. I then asked the person at arrive if we would be getting a discount then and she hesitantly said she would look into because I had just gotten a really good deal on the nicer home I booked. She called back and offered me a modern loft with many of the amenities the other home we booked had at the same price. We already had this trip planned with activities so I agreed. When we got there we found the home to be clean and beautiful but far from family friendly. It had four flights of stairs with terrifying railings for my toddler. There were only 3 locks that worked on the 5 exterior door home. There were passive aggressive notes on a few things that made it very unwelcoming my biggest issue is the thermostat was set at 50 degrees the note said it could only be turned up 2 degrees an hour or we would be charged the cost of repair if the unit froze and it reset everyday at a certain time so the house was always cold. My husband did of course misplace the key in the home and we were charged $129 for that which fine that was our fault however that seems a bit high for a single key when alot of the locks didn't work to begin with. More than half the snow was melted when we got there I think we should have been rented our original home or discounted more for the inconvenience. Overall not a fan of the company arrive the home is beautiful and clean for the right group not a good fit for a family trip with littles.

The one and only thing is we couldn’t figure out the fire place the second night and didn’t hear back until the next day and was too late to use it! Other than that we had a great time! Beautiful view, great outdoor areas to hang out, hot tub was great!

Beautiful views, good spaces
We overlooked a local trail and could see the peak of Mount Hood in the distance on one side and then could watch activity on the beautuful Columbia River from the other. Many levels of outdoor space plus a beautiful yard. A well laid out indoor space with all the necessities and some well-placed extras included. All in all, lots of good spaces and we enjoyed every one. Convenient to Downtown Hood River as well as that beautiful hiking trail.

This house was perfect for an old group of friends to get together, cook meals, and enjoy the PNW watching bald eagles fly by each day. While it is up a hill with a challenging driveway, it is close enough to town to easily get to the water or restaurants in minutes. Hiking trail right outside the house brings more foot traffic but is nice to enjoy.

Great stay in Hood River
House was very clean. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware, plates, etc. There were a few things that needed repair (one of the twin beds box springs had a depression that came through on the bed, for example). Also - the kitchen has been remodeled since the pictures and now has more storage space. Also - the hot tub is in the yard, not on the roof. We had some snow, so the driveway was slick but passable with our AWD car...anything else and parking at the foot of the driveway would have been required.

We all loved this property! The check-in process was very smooth, and the house itself is absolutely beautiful. The view of the mountains from the living room is stunning and the roof was perfect for hanging out and watching the sun set behind the trees. We had plenty of space for our crew of 7 people and two pups. We would absolutely stay here again.

Nice space for 5 adults. Peaceful newly installed grassy level side yard. Kitchen well appointed. Dining table great for group eating. Comfortable attractive living. Only disappointments were the house and decks don't face river , and outside and night noise constant from I-84 and Hwy 35 which runs diagonal up steep hill near house and has lots of big truck noise day and night. Also would not book this house in months where ice a possibility because of extremely steep driveway that would be unsafe to walk up even if parked below. There is a nice walking trail into town that starts at end of driveway. We had a good stay.
