The property was great for the price and location. It could use a few small touches to make it better. Dish washer not pinned so leaned forward when loaded and pull out mattress springy. Carpet in bad condition but otherwise very clean and the view was spectacular.

Very disappointing. So many issues with this unit: We had to contact mgmt as soon as we arrived, because the door would not lock and we didn’t feel safe staying. They immediately returned my call and contacted maintenance. The next day, came and installed an interior lock on the door. Unit is dirty and outdated except for some of the kitchen. Half bath was the nicest room. No ice maker, dishwasher was not mounted, every time we used it, tipped forward when loading and unloading. Carpet is nasty, killed a HUGE cockroach in living room. We had to clean upon check in. Looked like the only thing done prior was beds made and bathrooms stocked. The dining room chairs are very old reddish color velvet or something similar and terribly stained and had sand all over. Thankfully, a vacuum cleaner was left in the closet, so I vacuumed the chairs, along with every other surface I could reach. Furniture in unit is old and shows it. Master bathroom tile in need of cleaning or replacing. Washer and dryer worked, but also very old and worn. Holes in several walls, the windows looking out to the beach look to be rotted and falling along the bottoms. We will not be recommending this unit and will definitely NOT be booking again.

The trip was great except for the hurricane that rolled in on Wednesday and we had to evacuate Monday evening. We were able to go back on Thursday But not until we had to spend 3 nights in a hotel. I'm still waiting for confirmation from the Eye trip representative regarding the refund for the 3 nights that we were not able to stay in the condo

We really enjoyed the location. However the rental unit needed upgrades. The lighting was dim, there were no sheets for the sofa bed. The beach chairs were flimsy and there was no cooler. We ended up purchasing a small red cooler which we left there for future guests. Also, the shower curtain rod in the first bathroom fell down, and the dishwasher was not securely attached. The carpets were dirty and there were holes in the walls and the flooring was separating.

My family and I loved this condo. It’s convenient to the beach, local eateries and some local shopping. It’s quiet and offers everything that one would need, especially amazing views of the beach. We will definitely return!

We love this unit. This is the 3rd time we have booked it over the last 6 years. 2 years ago, it was a little disappointing because it needed some sprucing up and repairs. But this year there are definitely some improvements and we have fallen in love with it all over again. It's so convenient to anything or anywhere you would like to see or do. Walking distance Crabbt Bills and the famous ice cream parlor. Minutes from Clearwater Beach and St Pete Beach.

The property was very well maintained and the property management were always helpful. The only items I didn't like where the grill was not maintained, was extremely dirty and was hard to light. The bathtub was pretty to look at but was so large the water heater heater wasn't large enough to fill to a decent level for bathing and became cold very quickly.

Running the property was OK I thought that the interior would be a little bit more in better shape and the kitchen would be a little bit more equipped. Other than just two coffee mugs needs a little bit of TLC.

The location is great with several restaurants within walking distance. The condo is dated, but clean and well equipped with everything you need except for an ice maker in the refrigerator. I give this place a 9 out of 10!

Beautiful location. Limited kitchen supplies. Refrigerator was full of water soon arrival. Water was turned off during our stay with no warning or contact by location. No lamps were on switches and most didn’t work. It could really be something amazing with some attention, but nothing ruined our week at the beach.

The description of this location is 100% spot on! Even though we experienced our first tropical storm, we can't complain about anything. Management was quick to respond to any questions I had during our stay. The beach view was amazing. There are several restaurants within walking distance. We will definitely stay here again! Did I mention the view is AMAZING!!! :)

The property was beautiful and beautifully decorated. The only problem we had is the washer and dryer did not work. Everything else worked fine. The home was fully stocked with everything thing you need.

2nd bedroom was not ready at time of checked in, the towels in the laundry room was damped and sandy, hairdryer was antique, and not enough linens I had to request for more towels

Great location, property was well taken care of , pool was clean. Our main complaint is the unit had dirty older carpet that’s needs to be replaced and needed newer furniture in bedrooms, overall we still had a great stay just remember to wear house shoes while inside or the bottom of your feet will be dirty.

Family Vacation
I have stayed at the Happy Fiddler on and off for over 30 years in many different units. This unit was not my favorite.
Positives: great size, great view, nice well stocked renovated kitchen and a laundry room....
The grounds are clean and the pool well maintained.
Negatives: The carpet really needs to be pulled up and replaced. The front master bedroom was not cool which made sleeping uncomfortable(the placement of two fans in that bedroom was not helpful-we were told someone would come to take a look and no one did). The back master bedrooms shower did not look/feel clean. Updating is definitely recommended.

Happy Fiddler made us very happy.
Our stay was very enjoyable! The views were spectacular. Everything we needed was there and so much information on things to do. I wish we had more time to do it all. The only problem we had was the elevator was down once and we had to take the stairs. It was fixed quickly and it sure didn't hurt for us to get a little exercise after all the great local food. I really hope to return there on another vac!

Indian Rocks Beach
Had a great time at a very roomy condo. All was as advertised. Pool was easy to get to and beach area just beyond. Everything was fine except the sofas need replaced. Any problem we had was immediately handled by the ITrip team.
The biggest problem was the elevator which was not always operable. There was continuous work being done to keep it going.
All in all a great location. Some wonderful nearby restaurants.

January stay at the Happy Fiddler 402
This is our third stay at the Happy Fiddler. Each has provided enjoyable memories. However, as we get older it has become hard to climb in and out of the shower in in the master suite. With the steps and no hand rails there is a fear of falling. Thank you.

This was our second time staying in Indian Rocks Beach and this particular condo. It was just as great as the first time. This time my entire family came with us - parents, brothers, niece, nephew, and my children. We rented a second condo to accommodate all of us. We all had a great time. The views from the place are amazing! The sunsets are even better! We were all able to walk to the restaurants in town for dinner and drinks. Weather was perfect.
I can't say enough about the condo, the location, the town, the bars and restaurants, the beach, the weather, etc. It's absolutely perfect.
Give us another couple of years and we'll probably be in touch again about coming back for a 3rd time!
