Great location away from the tourist crowds but super convenient to all attractions.

The unit had everything we needed for the family. It was perfectly situated.

The only difficulty was getting in to the unit as we didnt have wifi which was needed to gain the initial access. So we had to leave one member of the family at the house while another went in search of a free wifi zone so that we could get inside.

Our host was so helpful before we arrived and during our stay recommended some great restaurants and places to visit. The location was ideal to the centre of Florence and also to some lovely local bars and restaurants. The apartment was great it had everything we could wish for during our stay. I would highly recommend staying here and would like to say a massive thank you to Ilaria for making our stay so memorable.

Location was fantastic! We walked to all the attractions and museums. There are many good restaurants near by.

Excellent location, we walked everywhere from the apartment. Beds were very comfortable. Shower was nice and big.

There was a sulfur smell in the back bedroom at night but we couldn’t have the windows open because of mosquitoes. It wasn’t a big deal but there seems to be a ventilation issue somewhere.

Great location. Spacious unit. Great features available (kitchen items, towels, etc). Friendly staff. They responded immediately to all the questions.

It was not a big negative, but the stairs are very narrow to navigate with big luggage. I would stay here again regardless. Specially of it is for more than 2 nights.

The appartment is located near Ponte Vecchio (10 minutes walking) and the station (15 minutes walking). It is a historical building with cozy interior. It was really clean and communication with the hosts (Ilaria and Alberto) was very helpful. In the local area are lots of great little bars and restaurants. Would definitely recommend and/ or go back to. Great stay!

Not really a downside if you are healthy, but the stairs are quite steep and narrow. Keep this in mind, especially when carrying heavy luggage.

Il Limone is set in a fantastic location, central to many attractions in Florence. It is across the river, and in a quieter residential area so was quiet. 15 minute walk to main train station with easy links to places such as Siena. Also short walk to Ufizzi Gallery and Pitti Palace. Hosts were very helpful giving us information about local restaurants and supermarkets. Nothing too much trouble. Very good air conditioning. Some very pleasant cafes nearby with locals extremely friendly.

We were travelling with our 21 year old son, so the second bed was a little tight for him. Not the fault of the apartment but were at the mercy of the people in the apartment above - mostly quiet but for a couple of nights was quite noisy.

We were lucky enough to go on a month long trip throughout Europe. We stayed in 7 places, and this was hands down our favorite. Ilaria was beyond helpful. She gave us great ideas of places to see and even helped us get a taxi. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place.

We enjoyed our stay in florence, with this place enabling us to be close to the town centre but not too close as to avoid the noise. The property was in a very old building, and you could see the hosts had made an effort to keep the original features of the apartment whilst adding modern touches like a washing machine and new bathroom and air conditioning.

We had quite a few mosquitos, the air conditioning wasnt very effective and there was work being done in the building which was very noisy but ofcourse the hosts couldnt stop that

The location was brilliant, just what we wanted. Good walking distance from the city center but there are plenty of resturants and a great cocktail bar right on your doorstep. Our host is very communicative and helpful. It feels like the host really cares about you enjoying Florence.

Lovely place with comfy beds

Has nothing to do with the apartment. It is the problems that you will face, if you travel by car to Florence. Parking is not cheap as there is no free parking (except on Sundays).

The location of the apartment is great for visiting the attractions of the city. The city center is within 10-15 minutes' walking distance. The railway and bus station is in 10-15 minutes. Very good restaurants are around. Two Conad supermarkets are in 5 minutes. The apartment is very interesting, settled in the very historical house of 14 century - we have been impressed by the interior. The apartment is very well furnished. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything for a short stay. The host is very friendly and helpful. She is a great fan of Florence - we followed her suggestions and enjoyed our visit very much ) Thanks again!

We absolutely loved everything! Florence is a beautiful city and this apartment added a special charm to the overall atmosphere. Located in the old part of the city it is close to all the main attractions. It was very easy to use the bus service as well, the bus station is about 20 meters away from the entry to the building. Number 6 bus takes you many places and it only costs 1.5 euros for each trip. The hosts were always in contact with us. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!! The lack of an elevator, but you get use to it.

Ilaria was so helpful in recommending restaurants, sights and events. The apartment was clean and well maintained, just like the photos.

Everything was perfect. And Ilaria is a great host. Thanks for making our stay magical.
