Relaxing, amazing and welcoming.

Lovely decor modern and light , the shower was excellent and so was the lighting. The breakfast room was stylish and well thought out! So clean and the room had a lot of little touches including a dressing gown and a coffee machine and kettle. I have stayed in 5* all over the world Grosvenor Lodge is one of the cleanest with attention to detail and an amazing breakfast. 100%

Convenient and affordable

We were upgraded to a superior room which was very welcomed. Great location and nice breakfast. Would recommend.

Bournemouth 1/2 marathon trip

Very clean, tidy and well presented room with good en suite. Plenty of coffee & tea with freshed chilled milk which is much nicer than UHT cartons. Very quiet during the night. Friendly and accommodating staff - let me leave my vehicle while I did the Bournemouth 1/2 marathon and use the facilities when I returned 😊 Good location - short drive to beach. I opted for a light breakfast which was cooked to perfection.

Lovely stay in a clean and comfortable guest house

The property was clean and well maintained. It was situated on a busy road but the noise from the traffic was not as intrusive as we thought it would be. It was lovely and clean and the hallway was very welcoming with little fairy lights and lovely scent diffusers. The town centre was close by and the beach a short drive away.

The room was pretty small which also led to the bathroom being small also. The shower was the smallest I have ever encountered and had we been much larger people, we wouldn’t have been able to squeeze in it!

lovely place and staff lovely (we arrived very late and everything worked well )

clean lovely staff good breakfast and a good location

en suite shower and bathroom was cramped and difficult for us to shower and slightly larger people would struggle to get in and shower mattress was soft too

Very pleasant weekend break. Highly recommended.

Excellent breakfast with wide choice of options, beautifully cooked. Hosts really pleasant and helpful.

Only advice I would suggest is to add clothes hooks to bedroom and bathroom doors.

Easy parking. Good breakfast. Fresh milk provided. Room upgraded. Owner communication was good even though she was not in the country.

Could not get shower to a useable temperature. Room was a little noisy being at front of the property. Coffee machine leaked badly.

Perfect B and B

The staff were very helpful and polite, the room was really clean and comfy, great facilities, breakfast couldn't ask for batter, all round good bed and breakfast, close to train station and amenities 😃

Disappointing

The breakfast was good and the service friendly. The location was ok - about 10 minutes walk from the town centre as was clear at the time of booking.

The room was tiny - it had a 4' double bed with just a few inches clearance on each side. I admit to thinking it was just a spacious wardrobe when we walked in, only to be disappointed when I saw the bed! It should have been marketed as a budget single and not cost £120+. A minor niggle was that the code to the key safe had changed between booking and arrival and we were only informed by a card attached in the welcome pack. It would have been easier to send another message via booking.com.

Superb

Good central location to explore local area. Parking space at front of property. Super clean and comfortable room. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast and host was very welcoming and accommodating. Self check in made it stress free as we ended up travelling down later than expected.

Our room was downstairs next to front door so was woken up by some guests coming in late.

Breakfast was lovely. It wasn't too far to walk to the town or beach.

The stairs were a little narrow at the top, but didn't cause any issues.

Comfortable stay in Christchurch

I needed a room in the area for just one night, and I arrived late and left very early. But it suited my needs perfectly. Check in and checkout was easy, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was quiet. The only interaction I had with the staff was a phone call in advance, but the lady was friendly and helpful.
