We had a wonderful stay. Our host was kind and friendly. The apartment came with everything we needed for a comfortable stay during winter. Our host let us borrow 2 bicycles for just 100 yen each per day, which made it super enjoyable to ride to town (under 15 min) and to a nearby local onsen, Kiyomon-yu hot springs (under 10 min). Plz see pic for the pedestrian/bicycle tunnel to get to the apartment from Kii- katsuura station - plz do not use the other tunnel on the right in the pic designated for cars. Also, when you're in town, you can park your bicycles at 2 designated spaces for bicycles behind the stations - plz see pics for those. We even managed to ride the bicycles to A-Coop Nachi supermarket and back for our grocery needs and for exploration. Sorry for a long review - just trying to provide info for future guests who might find them helpful.

Really great value for a whole apartment. The kitchen was reasonably equipped, beds and pillows were comfortable, heating made it nice and warm and it’s located in a quiet neighbourhood. A little way out of town but there’s cheap bicycle rental at the property that makes things a bit more accessible - hot tip, take the tunnel on your right when you’re heading into town, it’s not marked on google maps and there’s no signs in English, but that’s the tunnel for bikes and pedestrians. Good place to stay if you’re heading to Nachi falls!

It’s generally pretty good, but it would’ve been nice to have a chopping knife in the kitchen for preparing meals. The bikes are cheap to rent but very old, could do with a bit of love. The brakes on some of them were questionable and the tyres on others needed to be pumped up (not sure if there was a pump around and I just didn’t see it). Not deal breakers at all, still definitely worth a stay if you’re looking for a quiet area with some space to yourself.

紀伊勝浦駅からタクシーで5分ほどと好立地。チェックインの時間をコロコロ変えてしまったのですがすぐオーナーさんが対応してくださって、自由が効く旅行ができました。 簡素な住宅街なので夜もとても静かで快適に眠れました。お部屋のバスタオルを持って近くの温泉に行けたり、キッチン用品が充実していたり、お風呂にシャンプーなどが揃っていたり、おもてなし精神を感じました🥹 掃除も行き届いていたり、ベッドの硬さにも差があったので好みの硬さのベッドで眠れてとても快適でした。 ただ、こんなに好条件でここまで安くて大丈夫か？？と心配になりました。。 なので和歌山旅行の際は絶対にまた泊まりたいです👏

Owner was kind and approachable. The place has everything you need and it's really spacious, for two. It's cozy.

Perhaps, having another AC will help to cool down the master room faster especially it's really hot and stuffy during summer. To improve cleanliness at certain areas especially the kitchen area.

Japanese style shower was complicated for me as Western tourist to use.

The apartment was very cozy and spacious. Lots of fans and blankets and beds and space to relax. We really enjoyed all of the nature sounds at night.

Nice location, sightseeing spots are easily accessible. Parking space is also available. The apartment is clean, spacious and in a quiet neighborhood. The check-in in and -out was very easy. We enjoyed staying there.

The bed was a little bit too soft for us.
