This cabin was perfect for my husband and I and our 4 kids. I loved how one bedroom had 2 beds so the boys were able to be comfortable. Really made our Christmas vacation special with the Christmas tree that was up in the living room.

Very quiet, peaceful neighborhood very close to shopping and shows. Used Uber and Lyft to get to shows, attractions and dining. Very reasonably priced transportation. Very family oriented cabin with plenty of room. Handicap toilets but no grab bars for older guests.

Great location and memorable property. The Christmas decorations and living room Christmas Tree were a joyful surprise. The Ladybugs inside were a surprise too but they made the stay true to its name - Rustic Retreat - and who doesn’t have fond childhood memories when they see ladybugs?

House is a little sketchy looking on the drive up. But the inside is cool and it sticks the log cabin style nicely. It was mostly clean but a lot of cobwebs and spiders. It just needed that extra few steps to be a great place.

Everything about this wonderful retreat was fabulous! Comfy beds. Beautiful decor. Serene location. The only problem was that the lock on the side door did not lock so we had to lock from inside and exit another door. We will be back!

We absolutely loved the cabin!! Perfect location for what we are in town for along with easily accessible to jump on interstate to be downtown. We actually changed our plans just to stay at the cabin for a full day. We cooked played games and just had some much needed family time. Will stay here again on our next Nashville trip!

House was nestled in a quiet neighborhood away from traffic. Plenty of room for us 8 adults with room to spare. We utilized the kitchen for dinners and breakfast. Wish we could have stayed longer to appreciate the green space but all the more reason to come back. Appreciated the detailed binder full of house info and tourist details. Definitely utilize an Uber, parking fees are nuts. Thank you for the quiet comfort in a busy city.

Very comfy/quiet log house conveniently located in Nashville. We attended to 2023 Monster Jam finals at Nissan Stadium which was about a 10 minute drive. Only issues we had were power outages from severe thunderstorms ☺️

We drove 8 hours to stay in Nashville for a bachelorette party and this place was absolutely perfect! The location was just a few short minutes from all the entertainment and being a little outside of town was perfect. Very peaceful and quiet and the neighbors were very nice!

Just got back from our almost-week's stay at Rustic Retreat. We had a great time while staying at the cabin. Very close to most places. Enjoyed the wildlife that walked through the yard almost daily. Had no complaints about anything. Kitchen fully furnished with all you need to cook because we cook almost all meals. The one little thing that was lacking was a washer and dryer, but I did know that going in. I think it should be specifically listed though in the description just so people will know. There is a laundromat close by. Met the owner and her son who was extremely nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here and we would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks for all the accommodations!

We are a family of 4 (63, 52, 26, 23) from London England on a road trip through the southern states. Truly amazing place to stay. The host was really helpful and speedy at responses. Great quite location in a safe neighbourhood. Close to all amenities, car is not essential but recommended. Very clean throughout, and a perfect stock of all items and essentials. Overall 10/10. Would definitely stay again.

We spent the weekend with our adult kids to celebrate my wife’s birthday. First night we went to Tennfold Brewery which has a good food menu and some nice craft beers. Location was close by then we came home and opened gifts and hung out. Low key night. Next day we caught the lunch story tellers show at 3rd and Linsley which is awesome!! One of the song writers wrote Friends in Low Places and another wrote Waiting on a Woman. Highly recommend. Then off to Broadway for some day drinking and honky tonkin. Robert’s Western World was our favorite, check out Kelley’s hero’s if you can. Nice place to come home to, it had everything we needed.

We absolutely loved this cabin. This is the first time that we have ever stayed in a place like this. It's so much nicer than a motel. Your place has such a cozy atmosphere and was so relaxing. The beds were so comfortable and all of the accommodations that you provided were great. We will definitely recommend this cabin to all of our friends.

A perfect house for a small family reunion. A well stocked kitchen and toys for visiting family. The house needed a good dusting but otherwise was clean. The hot water heater should be updated to accommodate more than one shower. We enjoyed our brief visit and it was great to be so close to the Opryland Hotel area.

5 star little touches - coffee pods, condiments in the fridge and cold bottled water on arrival. Bed linens so white and plenty of bath towels. Quiet area very close to Broadway nightlife and Opryland.

Our stay at the Rustic Retreat was a great place to wind down and enjoy time with family after exploring all that Nashville has to offer. We felt right at home kicking back by the fireplace or playing games in the enclosed porch. The home had everything we needed and truly felt like a home away from home.

I usually don’t leave reviews but the experience that my family had at the Rustic Retreat was so memorable that I had to say thank you. Not only was the house cozy, peaceful and clean but the host were very attentive to our needs. You can tell that Doug and Darolyn put a lot of thought on how to maximize the guest experience based on the setup at the Rustic Retreat. The location could not be any better! Downtown Nashville is just a 15 min car ride. Which means you get the best of both worlds; large peaceful property with downtown close by. Not to mention that the Gaylord Opryland is right across the street from the property! We had the best time staying at the Rustic Retreat. Highly recommend!

This property was very nice! The cabin was decorated very beautifully for Christmas and everything was as advertised. You are only a 2-3 minute drive from the Grand Ole Opry and all the major attractions near that, yet you feel like you are in the Tennessee countryside because it is so quiet and peaceful. Communication with Doug and Darolyn was quick and efficient. I would highly recommend this property!
