We had such a lovely time and the apartment was in the perfect location to walk to all of the Quebec City must see sights plus restaurants, gourmet grocery stores, liquor stores and gift shops! Very cozy. We can't wait to come back!

The unit was accurately described and depicted. Very clean and tidy. The location was walkable to all the main attractions, no need to taxi or uber if you don’t mind a 10-15 min walk. The owners were responsive helpful polite and curteous. I would recommend this VRBO’er.

Cozy apartment located just a block off the Main Street with tons of shops and restaurants and a very doable walk into the old city. Very cool boho neighborhood. The apartment was clean, warm, and comfortable for our family. The pull out couch was surprisingly a very comfortable nights sleep. The bedroom enclosed by charming French doors was also a nice private escape. Exposed brick in the kitchen, and a table to play games and eat a quick breakfast before heading out to explore the city. Only thing I would have liked were some soap/shampoo for the shower — we had to go to a pharmacy to buy that in order to take a shower. Thank you for a great stay for our first time in Quebec!

The property was easy to find and entry instructions clear and easy to follow. The photos do a great job showing how warm and inviting the space is. There are two busses that come by, but we never figured out how to catch them so just walked where we wanted to go. And because of the location, it was easy to get to all the major sights on foot within minutes. The place was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was small but worked fine. It has a kitchen, but we didn't use it. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed for 7 nights and overall it was positive with no real problems.
Pros: Clean, good, safe location, free and easy parking, lots of hot water for shower, comfortable bed, good wifi, good tv stations
Cons: No separate washer/dryer (you needed to use one in owner’s space and while it did say that in the description it was in small print and admittedly, I missed it, it was a real Con for us since we were there a week)
Apartment is a little worn and needs work but clean and comfortable
Having said this, we enjoyed our stay and more pros than cons

The listing is exactly as described in VRBO. Beautiful apartment, immaculate, excellent location, and host was extremely helpful with any questions we had. Would recommend to others. Walking distance to the Saint Jean Avenue and old town.

I had never spent any time in this area of Quebec City and really enjoyed it. Still close to the old town but also close to the Parliament Buildings. The apartment was great. There is A/C but only in the kitchen and we used a fan to push the cool air into the bedroom from the kitchen. I was wonderful to have included parking very close by.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this apartment close to Old Town Quebec. It was well equipped for the most part and the beds and linens were high quality. The host was WONDERFUL to let us in himself when we were delayed and arrived very late as well as being attentive for questions and small needs.
I would caution guests that the steps to enter are quite steep off the street as well as that you need to bring your own soap, shampoo and hair dryer. Having parking available was also a great bonus to this place, but make sure you read the host’s instructions carefully as there are several keys involved to get into/out of both the apartment and garage. I would also advise that the AC unit is in the kitchen, and the back bedroom has a fan but it can get stuffy. I would also advise that if you are traveling with children or another couple, the only bathroom is by the front door and the curtain separating the bedroom from the living room on the door is transparent which for some requiring privacy might be an issue. For a solo couple it would be great. We made it work and loved the proximity to Old Town during our stay.

This is a well appointed apartment with comfortable beds. The neighborhood is great, with lots of restaurants and grocery nearby. It is walking distance to most sightseeing destinations. Our only issue was that it is street-level and we are not accustomed to city noises and had difficulty sleeping.

Great location around the corner from many restaurants and shops and just down the street from the historic city walls. We were able to easily walk all over the historic town. There was a little confusion upon our arrival and they called us at 330 to tell us that it wouldn't be ready until after 7. Since the airline lost our luggage and we weren't dragging it around, it wasn't a problem for us. Mike even offered to give us his shampoo and lend my husband clothes if needed! Very clean and pleasant on our arrival. would suggest running a power strip to each side of the bed for phone charging, etc. The lock box is in an awkward position, but Mike was there to meet us, so it wasn't a problem. Very much enjoyed our stay and would be happy to stay there again if in Quebec.

This was an ideal "home away from home" for our week in Quebec City. The apartment is comfortable and quiet but many options for great food, live music, and unique shopping are close by. We found it to be within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. [If you haven't visited Quebec City before, you should be forewarned that the old city is quite hilly, so walking around involves lots of ups & downs!] Over the course of the week we ranged from the lower city to the Battlefields Park and lots of areas in between, and we never found it necessary to take the car out of the garage. We hope to return and stay here again and will definitely recommend this apartment to friends!

What an amazing place in a great part of town. Everything in the apartment was as listed, and was a great place to base a full day of walking the town or on the couch. Kitchen had everything needed, including an espresso machine, and the whole place was spotless. All communications with the owners was prompt and very clear. Highly recommend staying here; we will whenever we're back in town.

We had a fantastic stay at Marjorie’s place. As others have noted, it is in the perfect location. You can walk to amazing shops, restaurants and pubs within minutes. Everything in the apartment was great and the beds were comfortable. I would highly reccomend this property for someone looking to visit Quebec City.

This place is just as indicated. The only ( minor) challenge was that the lockbox (only needed upon arrival )is in a bit of an awkward position to see it clearly but nothing that was a huge challenge and sure hosts would have assisted if necessary. Great location , lots close by of interest. Clean and comfortable !

Close to everything but on a quiet street! The condo is beautiful and is well stocked with everything! The bed was very-comfortable and the sofa bed was too! Marjorie is an excellent host and attentive to our needs! We would definitely come back here again!

When renting online you always wonder if the place is like it is pictured or has the picture been doctored. We found that St Jean Baptiste was just as pictured. It was a great location. Close to restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, and even a pharmacy. As with most places Quebec City there was a hill to climb to get to all the action. It was great to have a safe parking spot right next door. Access was somewhat difficult if you had mobility issues, but the owners indicated that the ramp to the back door had been destroyed during a storm. I would highly recommend a stay at this location. It was a pleasure meeting our hosts ,Mike and Marjorie.

We loved staying here - it is spacious and nicely decorated. Kind of an odd entranceway with three doors to go in and it is right on the sidewalk, but we didn't find it noisy at all. The bed was super comfy and I loved the espresso machine - nice touch! Great location! There are plenty of shops and restaurants right in this block - without even walking over to the Old City area which on a weekend was so crazy busy. We ate both dinners right on Rue St. Jean. You can get to the wall in 5-6 minutes. We had trouble with the parking however. My husband parked in the parking garage next door but didn't know how to get out. He was locked in for 20 mins in the dim light but finally found an exit door down a few dark hallways. Make sure you get instructions on how to get out using the keys for the apartment! Other than that it's a really cute spot. The AC was on when we arrived so it was nice a cool after a long day of driving. Thanks!

Perfect location
This rental was really easy to find and access, and the location is completely perfect. Close to the hustle and bustle, but tucked out of the way. We walked to old town multiple times a day and were just two minutes from beautiful churches in both directions. The rental itself was spotless and cozy with good Wi-Fi and we were able to watch Netflix on the tv. Totally recommend this rental for a couple!

Perfect apartment for our visit to Quebec
This apartment was only one short block from the Main Street in Quebec City, so it was a perfect location. Everything was just as pictured the listing. Marjorie welcomed us and showed us around the apartment, but gave us privacy for the remainder of our trip. Highly recommend!

This was the second time we have stayed at this property. The location is perfect for exploring as everything of interest is within walking distance however having parking included is a real plus.

Great month long stay
This beautiful little condo was very good for our month long stay.
The condo was comfortable and Marjorie and Mike were great hosts. They responded very quickly to any questions and helped make our stay a good one. The condo is very centrally located making it easy to walk to stores and restaurants on Rue St-Jean. It is also a very short (5min) walk to the old city. The parking was great- right next door.
We would recommend Marjorie’s condo to anyone visiting the area.
