Great location and flat. We would stay there again.

The property is lovely and the location is superb! We booked this at the last moment and they went of their way to get it ready and to make sure we were comfortable. This apartment is cozy and historic, making it a perfect place to be in Florence. We felt very "taken care of" and loved the feeling of the apartment. It is close to the Ponte Vecchio, a supermarket and great shopping. You honestly can not ask for more. I highly recommend it for any length of stay.

We found the property charming, eclectic, and homey. The location was really excellent, along the back side of a small riverfront park on the Oltrarno side, and just a few steps from a river crossing. The property was close to all major attractions, there was a nice cafe just down the street for the morning cappuccino and a pastry, and a very nice grocery store just a short distance away. A bonus was the excellent view from the balcony terrace across the river to the Duomo and Palazzo Vecchio. We were very pleased with the property.

Loved the atmosphere, decorations, kitchen and the location. Best VRBO we stayed in Italy, although Sorrento was a close 2nd!

We stayed as a family with an infant. Super convenient and a beautiful home! We cannot wait to come back.

It was good, but had quite a few flaws.

Old world charm, convenience that can’t be beat, and an opportunity to live a bit less like a tourist while in Firenze—what is not to love? Home was well appointed for necessities and simple meals, ample common areas for meals and conversation, yet enough privacy for teens. Walkable neighborhood for nearly anything you might need—Emanuele was both very helpful and available quickly.

Had a nice time and the apartment is comfortable for our short stay. Good commutation from owner. Have five stars. If you have any difficulty with stairs it can be difficult if the elevator is out of service. Nice folks and I recommend for short stays.

The apartment was in a great location within walking distance to shops and all the attractions within the city. It was extremely easy going back and forth to relax given the extreme heat. The apartment is very well equipped and is decorated with lovely old furniture and has an amazing collection of books, which can be dust collectors so air on cautious side when booking if you have a dust allergy like my daughter. Overall we loved this accommodation.

Emanule the property manager was fantastic. The location couldn’t be better - it was actually amazing. This is our 2nd visit to Florence- 1st was 20 years ago and we loved it as much as the 1st visit. This home was very secure and quiet - totally old world charm!!! You want a taste of old Italy, this is the place. We ate our weight in food and Emanule was so helpful and responsive

This charmer of a property was just perfect for our week stay in Florence! We were looking for more of a neighborhood experience-with room to breathe, a nearby market, a well-equipped kitchen, and laundry.
This place delivered. And Emanuele and Christina were both kind, responsive, and so very helpful (even offering to reserve a taxi for us upon departure.)
The location is central, walkable and absolutely perfect-as is the balcony view of the Arno and the city.
Look no further. This is the place!

This townhouse is in a perfect location! Close to all of the tourist and historical sites, yet far enough away so that it is quiet at night.
The two bedrooms on the first floor have king-sized beds and the small room upstairs has one twin bed. Three bathrooms made it easy for our 5 people to get ready in the morning for a day of touring.
Small, but fully equipped kitchen, made making breakfast easy.
A neighborhood grocery store is only a 5 minute walk from the townhouse.

We very much enjoyed every aspect of the apartment! It had everything we needed included so much wonderful space, comfortable space. Location was perfect to get just about anywhere on foot. The upper balcony was our favorite place to enjoy the mornings and evenings. So much beauty and life to view from above. I was, however, dying to get my hands on some pruning sheers to tidy up the patio plants on the street level.

This was our third visit to Florence and the first time staying in the Oltrarno area. The location is great. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. The apartment was very large and comfortable. The upstairs balcony and outside garden were nice features. Overall, we were very pleased.

The host was great, Florence was wonderful, took a day and went to wine country, Fantastic. Visited the 2 top museums, saw David and ate some great food. Went to all the restaurants that were recommended by Emanuele (owner) and was not disappointed. Apt is close to everything, stores, shopping, restaurants, city.
Regarding the apartment. Its old and shows it. It needs a real cleaning. We had to clean the outside furniture to sit on it. The lower outside furniture and area we never touched because it was very dirty. Their were ants everywhere. The 4 days we were there it was very hot and the AC didn't work. Contacted owner and each day we got and excuse why it wasn't working. Couldn't open any windows thus sleeping was not possible, it was way too hot. Sorry about the bad review about the apartment, but it needs some serious cleaning and work.

On the ‘quiet’ side of the bridge just perfect… so close to everything you need to see.
Host helped every step of the way, a fantastic apartment with everything you need.

Emanuele was super helpful and communicative from the start. He met us at the apartment and walked us thoroughly through the spaces. Emanuele was very responsive to our requests and questions during our stay. The apartment had great access to the city and was extremely easy going back and forth. The apartment had a great old-world charm, and we loved the upper balcony that gave a wide view of the city from across the river.

If you want an authentic Florentine experience then this house & neighborhood are for you. Though it’s within easy walking distance of all the major attractions it is situated in the less crowded, less congested part of the historic center. So you bump elbows with your neighbors. People who live and work in Firenze. It was worth it just have the house for just two of us, although I think it would be great for two couples who really like to be with each other. Since the kitchen and dining areas are upstairs and the bedrooms and bathrooms for the most part are on the first floor with the living room it takes some getting used to. But who cares? The balcony overlooks the Arno and the Ponte Santa Grazie is a just stone’s throw away. That said, make a left and you’ll be on the Ponte Vecchio in 5 minutes. Great cappuccino is just around the corner and there is an abundance of trattorie.
Emmanuel is the manager and he is a splendid fellow. He answered our questions, made recommendations, and even arranged transportation for us at the end of our stay.
If you are looking for an authentic experience this is a great way to stay in Firenze. If you want the Four Seasons then stay there.

Great location away from the center of town but close enough to walk. Great air conditioning as it was quite warm outside. Just a really great experience all around.

The ambiance of the property was so perfect for Florence! The location could not have been better. Walked everywhere. Peaceful space on a small park! The hosts were gracious and accommodating. Very helpful recommendations led to a new leather jacket for my son! We hope to stay again sometime soon.

Centrally located townhouse
This townhouse is on a small pocket park on the river’s edge. Walk to literally everything. People watch from your balcony with a great view of all the major sites, which are just across the river.

What a location
This house is perfect for those who like to be close,to but not in the hustle. A 5 min walk to The Ponte Vecchio! Sleeps 5 comfortably. Laundry. Well appointed kitchen. 3full bathrooms. Could use some garbage cans and a serious dust. But hey, it is an old building. We were there during heat wave so some issues with AC - we Americans like it cool, but overall very nice. Great access to grocery store, and the best coffee bar called Madeline. I would return!

Amazing apartment, location and view!
We were very happy to have this old-world Florentine apartment with a grand fireplace and double-height ceiling as our home in Florence! Every day the Tuscan sunlight streamed in through the big arched window doors. We were mesmerized by the view of the Arno and Duomo from the terrace at breakfast, sunset, dinner and before bed. The A/C was great and needed in the heatwave of July. The kitchen was charming with a lovely sunlight and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable.
The nearby grocery store was incredibly well stocked with all kinds of great food, produce, wine and beer. We found wonderful local restaurants in San Nicolo and San Spirito.
Cristina and Massimo were there to greet us when we arrived and highy repsonsive to our questions thereafter. While we didn't ask for a toaster, they dropped one off the next day and we were happy to have it. Cristina explained how to use the Italian moka for coffee.
We walked everywhere on both sides of the Arno and to all the major sites.
The apartment, our hosts and the location could not have been better!

If you are visiting Florence and want to experience history you won't find better than this. I felt as if I'd been transported back in time. The view from the upstairs balcony is wonderful. If you are looking for ensuit bathrooms, and modern kitchens, this is not the place for you. It is charming and comfortable and the manager was friendly, helpful and responsive. We had an issue with hot water, but he visited within a short time of us reporting it to resolve the issue. It is just minutes away from all the things you want to do and see, and there is a nice grocery store within a 5 minute walk.
