About this house rental
Spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit located in the Northstar complex with communal outdoor pool and hot tub. Located just on the outskirts of the main village centre this unit offers close proximity to everything you will want while being walking distance to the base of the mountain or just a short minute walk to the village shuttle. On the main level, you will find an open concept living room with a pull-out sofa, and dining and kitchen area centered around a gas fireplace. A full bathroom with a stand-up shower and in-suite washer/dryer complete the first level. Upstairs you will find 2 bedrooms, one with two twin beds (can be converted into a king bed upon request) and a master bedroom with a king bed with access to the shared bathroom with a tub/shower combo. PROPERTY FEATURES - 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom - Master bedroom: King bed, shared bathroom with a tub/shower combo (can be converted into 2 twins upon advanced request) - Second bedroom: 2 twin beds (can be converted into 1 king upon advanced request) - Living room: Pull out sofa - Communal outdoor pool and hot tub - Close proximity to the village shuttle and the base of the mountain LOCATION This unit is located in the Northstar complex just off Northlands Boulevard. Just across the street from the north end of the village stroll and Marketplace area. The village playground and Olympic Plaza are just a few minute's walk from the unit with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The complex has a communal heated outdoor pool and hot tub available all year-round. One designated parking stall is available in the underground parking with visitor parking on a first come first serve basis. AGE REQUIREMENT Guests must be 26 years of age and must provide a photo ID upon check-in unless prior approval has been granted. Families and children are welcome; parents and or guardians must accompany children. Whistler Ideal Accommodations retains the right to refuse access to any property if this condition has not been met, with no refund provided. NO SUBLETTING Absolutely no subletting of the property or individual rooms of the property for a period or the duration of your stay. CHECK IN INSTRUCTIONS Guests are to check-in with our front desk prior to gaining property access, at which time they will be required to present a credit card and photo ID for a pre-authorization of $500. The authorization will be charged in the event of costs such as damage, missing items, and or excessive cleaning, by the guests. Guests are responsible for any costs also exceeding the pre-authorized value. The credit card must be in the name of the main guest.

Great location with a bus to gondola close by. Manager quickly addressed the non-working hair dryer issue, which was greatly appreciated. Maybe not the most stocked place regarding cooking utencils, but it has a grill and again super close walking distance to several restaurants. Beds were SUPER comfortable and had plenty of towels. Would definetly stay here again in we go back to Whistler.

We really enjoyed staying here. The unit is spacious, clean and comfortable. Convenient location, opposite the market square and a 2 min walk to the shuttle bus. Excellent pool and hot tub.

From the start, there was excellent and on going
communication from the property management. All of the information was provided up front. The location was great as it was within walking distance to the lower and upper village strolls. Parking spot provided in underground gated parkade, right beside stairwell to the unit. Very convenient for loading. The unit was well appointed and had everything you would need. Home away from home.

It turned out to be hot days during our stay. Not having screen on sliding door made it difficult to ventilate rooms. Ceiling fans could be a good improvement. Passage to garage under the building can be maintained a bit more and made free of the webs.
Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay. Hopefully, we left property clean and mey your expectations.

You spend thousands yet now you have to take out all the garbage and make sure u separate it. They even tell u to clean the place. Stop being cheap, hire a cleaning service like it used to be. The place wasn't cheap.
Overall we enjoyed the place. The location will have me book there again if I'm back

Excellent for our family of 4. Quiet location out of the busy centre but close to shops and restaurants. Spacious apartment with all cooking utensils. Lifts and gondola about 1km away, the only downside, plus the shuttle busses were very unreliable for us. We had a comfortable stay and great time overall.

Very nice place, has everything you need. And Is conveniently located close to the market and the village. Only downside is it is that it is a good bit of road noise from being so close to sea to sky highway. But would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing ten days in Whistler. The accommodations were really nice. Clean, tidy, comfortable and had everything we needed. A well equipped kitchen made all the difference. The apartment had a lovely balcony with a bbq too.
The only down side was the proximity to the highway and a party house across the other side of it. It was a little noisy but not too bad that you couldn’t fall asleep.
Would stay here again.

Whistler Getaway in June
Great location, however noise from the highway when windows are open. Property Manager was quick to respond to our request for a blender and delivered first thing the next day. Easy walk to the village and steps away from great trails to run and bike on.

Awesome stay in beautiful Whistler
Great location, short walk to Whistler and Blackcomb (useful when shuttle drivers are on strike!), great hot tube and pool, comfy beds and apartment with all amenities to cook great apres-ski dinners!
Only downside, a bit noisy at night due to proximity to highway.

A Winner !
We enjoyed everything about our stay! The unit was immaculate, the booking procedure , including all correspondence, was efficient and professional and very timely. The location of this unit was ideal as we were able to easily walk to the village. Highlights: fireplace, pool , hot tub, balcony, bedrooms upstairs, 2 bathrooms.

It was a really nice stay with comfortable beds and a functional kitchen with everything you need. The complex felt like you were in the woods as it faced the trees, which was nice. There was some highway noise if you had the windows open. The pull out couch cushions were a bit worse for wear being able to feel the springs. There were a few blinds that were half working, but I feel like that's getting a bit picky. The Pool and Hot Tub were welcomed amenities for our family and the kids really enjoyed it. Communication: I tried to reach out to the owner/manager via the VRBO online messaging system, but did not hear from the owner or the property management company which was offsite. We received a package (we assumed the owner had ordered it?) and wanted to let them know where we put it. Would definitely stay again!

The property can’t be beat—great location, close to everything and there’s a pool and hot tub! We have stayed at several units in this complex before. There are nicer units in the complex but this gets the job done at a good price. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location
We stayed here for a family vacation and you can’t beat the location! Fresh St Market right across the street for all your needs and out of the busy hustle of being right in the village.
Like other reviewers mentioned, you’re backing onto the Hwy with trees in between but it didn’t bother us that much as I read the reviews beforehand.
Only complaint would be that there is no A/C in this unit, so it was stifling hot even with all the windows open (which had no screens, which also let to misquotes and other bugs coming in).
Other than that, the unit was clean and the beds were comfortable.

Amazing Stay!
Northstar 51 was fantastic. So conveniently located and close to the village, but removed enough to feel peaceful. The condo was big and very nicely equipped. We had lots of space, and it was super comfortable all around. We would definitely book again next holiday.

Good location with Marketplace & restaurants within easy walk on Northlands Boulevard. Lifts 10-15 minutes walk through the village. Apartment spacious & airy.
Not as clean as you might want - for e.g. dirty dishes in the cupboard (but this might be down to the dishwasher requiring a number of cycles to get things clean).
