About this house rental
Walk to everything from this spacious, bright 708 sq ft. 1 bedroom upper level end unit townhome in popular Granite Court complex. Quiet setting with direct access to the Valley Trail network and Lost Lake trails, yet close to Whistler's attractions and 10 min walk or 3 min free shuttle to the ski/bike lifts. We're across Lorimer Rd from Olympic Plaza, the Village stroll, and Whistler's Marketplace with restaurants, groceries, liquor store, retail. Leave your car parked (for free!); everything you need is within walking distance! Locally owned and personally managed. We're setup for self check in via door code with walk up, front door access to our unit. No elevators or hallways to navigate. Ground level entry has lots of room for storing your skis, bikes, boots, and other Whistler gear. We've also added bike storage wall posts to safely secure your valuable bikes inside our unit. At the top of the stairs you'll find lots of closet space and in suite washer and dryer with detergent provided. The main level has 10 foot high ceilings and an open concept living room with fireplace, TV, and sofa (converts to queen bed). The dining area has seating for 4 off of the well stocked kitchen. Lots of natural light streams in with views of Mount Currie to the north, Blackcomb to the east, and Sproat to the west from our corner unit location. Weber propane BBQ is available for your use on the sunny patio. Spacious bathroom includes deep tub and shower. Most 1 bed units in Village/Village North area are 500-625 sq ft and we're noticeably larger at 708 sq ft. FREE parking in our secure, reserved underground parkade. High speed Telus PureFibre WiFi, Telus HD OptikTV, HBO, and Chromecast included. We purchased this property in 2017 and have made additions each year including: -50" 4K TV -Bluetooth capable sound bar -Queen sized sofa bed with memory foam mattress -Canadian wilderness art and decor -keyless entry for 24 hour check-in -Keurig coffee machine -Weber BBQ -indoor bike storage posts -portable Air Conditioner unit (available late May-Sept) -retractable baby/pet gate at top of stairs -freshly repainted April 2024 Whistler is designed as a pedestrian village so you'll enjoy walking to restaurants and shopping on the Village Stroll. Olympic Plaza, Gran Fondo finish, Whistler Half Marathon, and Whistler's free outdoor summer concert series and movie nights are directly across the street. Enjoy outdoor skating during the winter at Olympic Plaza. The world renowned Audain Art Museum is a 4 min walk from our front door. In the summer, we have the Lost Lake walking/hiking/biking trails at our doorstep and 3 championship golf courses within 3km. Owned and managed by Whistler locals. Unlike property management companies, this is our only rental so you'll benefit from our personal touch and un-rushed, extensive cleaning. We take pride in our townhome as you'll see from our updates and excellent guest reviews. We're just 5 minutes away so we're available on short notice by phone/email to answer any questions and provide local tips and advice. We are legally zoned and follow all local licensing requirements. Whistler business license #9109. Minimum stays are set for winter season and holidays. Awesome hosts and townhome. The unit is clean, comfortable, and within walking distance to everywhere. Gail and Gregg thought of everything when outfitting the unit. The kitchen had all the basic necessities a person would have in their own home. There was even welcoming dog biscuits, beer and chilled beer mugs. Highly recommend.

This was a great place to stay in Whistler. It is walkable to the supermarket, the village and slopes. It is very clean and more spacious and airy than appears in the photos. The hosts were very helpful and check in was a breeze. We would definitely return here.

This is one of the most convenient, cozy and well-decorated condos we have ever stayed at in Whistler during our 25 years of visiting. It was very clean, well-supplied and had a charming decor. It was like living in a tree house with great snowy views out of every window. The owners were also very responsive and helpful. Truly a gem. Totally enjoyed it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was exactly as in the photos and the location was excellent. Very close to all amenities. Fully stocked kitchen with more than we even needed. Loved having a BBQ too.

Hosts were above-and-beyond friendly & responsive. Wonderful, quiet little condo very close to everything you need in Whistler. There is no onsite parking for over height vehicles, but it's very close to public parking (that's free in the summer). Would definitely stay here again!

Early winter getaway
We have stayed at Gail and Gregg’s property before and we were very happy to return. This unit is clean, comfortable, and cozy (not cozy-small, but cozy-warm and inviting!). The location is excellent and the property has everything you need. We arrived about an hour early and we were grateful that the owners made a point of messaging us to let us know that the property was ready rather than letting us wait around with our old dog to get access. This is something that not all owners would think to do and we appreciated it very much. When you deal with Gail and Gregg the experience feels very professional, yet personal and genuine. I’ve no doubt that we will stay at this property again in the future.

Short summer get-away
This property was perfect for our short visit, but would be comfortable and plenty spacious enough for a longer stay. The unit was clean and equipped with everything you could need. The beers in the fridge and treats for our dog were a lovely touch that we very much appreciated. The owners were responsive and check-in was seamless. We would absolutely stay here again! Well equipped with lots of extras including some beer chilling for us, perfect after our long drive! The pull out couch was comfy and easy to operate. The Weber bbq was a plus for our steaks! All the furnishings and decorations were very nicely thought out! Gregg was wonderful and informative throughout the whole process! Definitely a a property we will rent again in the future!

Location was perfect for us as it's walking distance from the village as well as a few trails! The space was clean and had everything we needed. The owners were amazing and went above and beyond to send us back an item that was left behind. We really enjoyed our stay and would come again!

We also enjoyed complimentary dog biscuits for our pup and coffee pods! Parking is secured underground and a very quick walk to the front door. Nice and close to town
Room was great, owners left us a nice note welcoming us. They also left a great note on the fridge with all the needed codes for entry, garbage, Wi-Fi, etc.. May seem like a small thing, but in other places we had to hunt for this info. Was nice having it right there for us.

Great host, condo, and location!
My family stayed here with three adults, a baby, and a medium dog. We felt comfortable in the space and my brother thought it was the most comfortable pull out bed he’s ever slept on. The condo was spotlessly clean and had all basic necessities and a few cooking supplies. Gail was incredibly helpful and easy to communicate with. She gave us great recommendations for baby-friendly spots as well as logistics about the condo and skiing. She was an exceptional host. We loved how convenient the location was to the marketplace shuttle, the village, and also some hiking trails we could walk the dog on. Gail and Gregg even left us some wine and local beer to welcome us, which was great after a long drive. When we come back to Whistler we’ll surely stay here again.

Beautiful Location for a Whistler Escape!
Gregg & Gail are the most lovely, gracious hosts who clearly take a lot of pride in their vacation rental! This property is located among beautiful trails and is a quick walk to the village, tons of shopping and other fabulous attractions. The communication with these owners was phenomenal from start to finish and they made every effort to ensure we had a fantastic experience!

Great location across from Marketplace in Village North and easy access to the ski hill, walking trails, shopping, and groceries. We loved the personal touches, layout, and décor! Perfectly sized for our family of 4.

Best Whistler condo for ski trip!
We visit Whistler several times a ski season and always stay in the Village North area. We've never stayed in the Granite Court complex but after our stay at Gail and Gregg's condo we'd never stay anywhere else! Between the location, the Granite Court complex, the condo itself, and Gail and Gregg's excellent communication and hospitality we've truly found our "go to" condo for return visits. We've already booked a return stay later this season!
Their 1 bedroom condo is much larger, quieter, and better laid out than other complexes we've stayed at in the area (Glacier's Reach, Stoney Creek, Marketplace), not to mention much nicer. From first arrival we were relieved to have room in the secured underground lot for our large SUV to maneuver, unlike some other Whistler lots. Arrival directions were clear and concise. A key pad made our late check in very convenient - no messing around with keys or check in desks.
Their "Canadian cabin" decor was lovely and they have seemingly thought of all details: coffee machine and pods provided, cooking oil and spices, champagne and wine glasses, frosty mugs, and BEST of all... some local beer chilling for us in the fridge. This was much appreciated after a long drive to town. There were 4 of us and the pullout sofa bed was perfect! I was a bit nervous about sleeping on a sofa bed but this one had a memory foam mattress and felt like a real bed. There was ample closet space in the bedroom and hallway to keep bags and gear stored away so the living room didn't feel like a college dorm. With tall ceilings and lots of windows the condo also felt very spacious. We cooked in after a long day of skiing and the Weber BBQ on the patio worked like a charm. Listing pictures and past reviews were spot on!
Getting to the ski lifts was easy via the free Marketplace Shuttle. Easy to follow directions and a map were left for us on the fridge. It's probaly 200 yards to the bus stop and was easy to grab to and from the mountain (probably 3 min drive). Liquor and grocery store are right next to the bus stop in the Marketplace complex.
Gail and Gregg graciously offered late check out so we were able to get in a full ski day and a quick shower before heading home.
Looking forward to our return visit in January!

While it may feel a little small, the property's great location, secure underground parking, and well appointed space make it a perfect little escape from the city. I'll be back!

Location!
The condo is a very short walk to the village shops and restaurants. Also across the street from a great trail along the river and on the valley trail system. The owners are delightful and helpful. Very accessible. Condo had everything we needed. Nice to have a barbecue on deck. Would highly recommend

Overall Very Satisfied!
We found the property to suit our needs in general. The location was perfect with a short walk into the village. The property was extremely clean. Our only complaint was the overall size in general, however, camera angles can be deceiving. A dresser in the bedroom would be nice instead of drawers in the closet, however, again, the bedroom was a bit small.
Overall, we would recommend this property to anyone we know visiting Whistler. We really want to thank Gregg & Gail for their communication with us about such things as ferry connections, driving up from Vancouver, etc. It was very helpful! All our questions were answered very quickly.
