The town of Laurie is just a couple miles by car from the house and has everything you need for groceries, bait, cinema, restaurants, bowling alley, medical care and golf. The outlet mall, Bagnell Dam Strip, go-karts, water parks, miniature golf, and other activities are located on the east side of the lake about 30 miles by car.
