About this house rental
Situated in Raystown Lake, this lovely house for £359 per night is a great option for your next break. Wildwood Lodge is a beautifully rustic vacation home; nestled in a peaceful wooded area. You will feel like you are in a luxurious tree house. Note: quotes based on standard rates, please inquire for holiday rates and special event rates ie. PSU Football, College graduation, Homecoming, Dirtfest etc. 3 night minimum required for holidays and some special events. CLOSED DURING WINTER MONTHS..... available last minute when no forecast for snow. Cleaning Fee: $145. Linen Fee: $70.. fee should guests elect to have sheets provided for the 10 beds. Guests may also bring their own sheets. Blankets, pillows, comforters are provided. Bath towels are NOT provided. Children 5 and under no charge. Discounts may be available for last minute rentals. Check in and out times may be extended based on occupancy. Wildwood Lodge owners, Pam & Bob Wild, have been in the vacation home rental business since 2005. Wildwood Lodge is rustically beautiful and immaculately clean. The Lodge is nestled in a 3 acre wooded lot, offering a peaceful retreat yet 5 minutes from Raystown Lake and Allegrippis Trails which is ranked among the top 5 trial systems in the nation for mountain biking. It's also awesome for hiking. We're only 10 minutes from downtown Huntingdon for dining & shopping. and....there's nothing better than sitting around a fire pit, gazing at the stars and creating memories with family and friends. This house sits up on a hill which creates a beautiful tree house affect when enjoying the deck. It offers it's own eclectic charm, furnished with Amish made hickory tables, chairs, rockers, pine log & hickory beds, as well as lovely leather furniture. The kitchen has maple cabinets and granite counter tops. A beautiful knotty pine cathedral ceiling covers the entire great room. The walls are adorned with rustic artwork and artifacts of days gone by.....sure to spark interest and conversation ! The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need to cook including large stock pot, crock pot, blender & much more. . Wildwood Lodge features 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths, a great room with a dining area that includes hickory table, rec. room with rustic bar, large deck, patio off the rec room and cozy firepit area. The Lodge provides all the creature comforts you could hope for, including expanded cable TV, free internet, gas grill, extra full size fridge in garage, movies and much more. For those families with small children don't take up space in your vehicles for a pack and play, baby gates and 2 highchairs, they are provided. We also provide a plastic kiddie pool. The house can sleep 13. Guests may bring their own sheets or they can be provided for an additional fee. Comforters, blankets and pillows are provided. Wildwood Lodge will enable you to sit back, relax and enjoy the sounds of nature, moonlit evenings by the fire pit or fill your Summer days with fishing, boating, hiking and water activities on Raystown Lake, the Crown Jewel of Central Pa. Fall and Winter offers opportunities for hunting, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, and trips to 'Happy Valley' to enjoy Penn State Nittany Lion football.

Our group had a wonderful stay at Wildwood Lodge! From when we first booked through checkout, every communication with the owner Pam was so clear and thoughtful. Not only did we get all the details about the home we needed for our stay, but we also got great recommendations about what to see and do in the area. The home is a lovely and cozy cottage with lots of space, both indoors and out on the decks. Each room is thoughtfully decorated and the overall feel is welcoming and cozy rustic. The seating on the deck makes you feel like you're relaxing or dining in the tree canopy! If we hadn't spent so much time at the lake and nearby parks, we would've enjoyed even more hours hanging out in the living space and den. The kitchen had plenty of plates and cups and cooking implements--everything we needed! All messages from our host were so clear and welcoming. I'm confident we'll be back, and I hope we can stay longer next time! I wouldn't mind if there were a rainy day during our next stay because it would be so nice to simply hang out at the cozy Wildwood Lodge!

We had a wonderful time at Wildwood Lodge. Pam was very helpful and friendly. She went out of her way to make accommodations for the health of some family members. We really appreciated her help and concern. The Lodge is beautiful and the setting peaceful. I highly recommend it.

We booked this house for our annual board game retreat. The property was basically exactly as described, and it is overall a great location. We look forward to coming back here in the future. Make sure you read the listing about the bath towels! We missed it, but it's clearly listed that they're not provided. Also, the way you handle trash at the end of the trip is a little strange where you have to take a key to drive to a dumpster, but nothing major, just something to remember.

I was looking for a cabin or lodge that would accommodate a family of nine. Wildwood Lodge was spacious and clean. Pam Wild, the proprietor, was wonderful to work with and I appreciate how concerned she was that we have a good vacation. The Lodge sits on a tree covered hill. The deck on the second level looks out onto the upper branches of the trees. We all agreed that it felt like vacationing in a tree house—so lovely. Thank you, Pam and Bob Wild for sharing your Wildwood Lodge.

The interior decor could not have fir my family more perfectly than it did. Many thoughtful small touches that many other owners in the past disregarded. We were minutes from 7 points Marina where we rented our boat. We played cornhole (supplied by the owners) for hours! We can't get over how beautiful the lodge is! We saw many deer nearly every morning! You will absolutely love this property for its deep woods feel with access to everything you need!

We rented Wildwood Lodge for a long weekend to celebrate our daughters birthday. She attends Juniata College so the Lodge was a convenient 15 minute ride from campus and just a few minutes from the Raystown Lake visitor center. The Lodge was very clean and had all the amenities for a comfortable stay including a beautiful fire pit on one of the multiple decks. Pam was a very responsive and friendly owner who nevertheless gave us our space to simply relax and enjoy her great property.

The dinnerware should not be the kind that chips and the frying pans could be a better quality. Master bath had a toilet where the handle stuck sometimes.

Great, large house conveniently located 5-10 minutes from Seven Points beach & marina. This place was perfect for our big family and the location (in the woods) offered great shade where we could sit outside comfortably despite records high temps during our visit. Plenty of chairs/space to sit outside, nice fire pit, minimal bugs at night time. Indoors was adequately equipped (especially the kitchen). Pam and her husband were very nice to work with...flexible and responsive. We will be back!

Having a weekend with friends and family can't be better. This was our second year at the Wildwood Lodge and couldn't have been better. Love every thing about this place. Decorated beautifully very clean. Would recommend this place highly to anybody with a large group.

This year was I believe our fifth year of staying at the Lodge in February. We have a large group that gets together for a long weekend, and it is wonderful. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and sleep comfortably, huge dining room table for us to have big meals together, and lots of great space outside as well including a huge deck, and a very nice fire pit area that we use even in the middle of winter. It is fantastic, clean, comfortable, and well equipped. We always have a great time here, and the price is great, too. I have been organizing these winter outing for about 15 years and we have stayed all over central Pennsylvania, but once we found the Wildwood properties, especially the Lodge, we have stayed there for years and haven't looked back!

Over the past 2 years we have stayed at all of the Wildwood Rental properties. Our group grew in #'s so most recently we tried the Lodge. Absolutely gorgeous, immaculately clean and plenty of room for our group of 12. Loved the proximity to the marina, lake beach and Allegrippis Trails. We had 3 mountain bike enthusiasts in our group and they said the trails were incredible. We also had a toddler in the group, the lodge had a pack and play, baby gates, highchair and kiddie pool.... sure made our packing easier.
Finally, the owner, Pam was a gem to work with. She has a very detailed guest info book in the Lodge. Complete with general information, directions to anything we could possible needs and suggestions for things to do.
We can't wait for our next visit. The problem will be.....which house should be choose, Wildwood Chalet, Cottage or Lodge.....we loved then all.

I have been staying at Wildwood rentals for the past 10 years and have enjoyed the Chalet, Cottage and Lodge. The lodge is a wonderful place to stay. It's large for lots of people, very comfortable and quiet and very relaxing. I can not think of a better place to stay than Wildwood rentals.

The Wildwood Lodge is the ideal setting for a rustic getaway. Beautiful home in the woods, isolated and private. The Lodge is very well equipped from the kitchen to the outdoor firepit. Its close proximity to the Allegrippis trail system at Raystown Lake, State College and Boalsburg shopping and downtown Huntingdon make it a wonderful vacation spot. Our group has experienced all the Wildwood properties and by far the Lodge is our favorite. The owners go out of their way to make your stay the best experience. Do yourself a favor and rent this property!

The Lodge is beautiful, cozy, relaxing... Our group of Juniata football parents expanded, so we needed more room than we previously had at the Wildwood cottage (which is also very nice). The Lodge had everything we could possibly need for a fun weekend. The large table accommodated our sons for a pre-game dinner, and we all had plenty of room to relax. The extra refrigerators in the garage were a great help to store our tailgating supplies. The Wild's went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable & comfortable. We would love to come back again! LOVED the Wildwood lodge. The furnishings and décor are so on point without being stuffy. It was a great location and base camp for our graduation weekend. My father is in a wheel chair and we found it very easy to accommodate his needs. Kitchen is well appointed and the gas grill made for a terrific cook out. Having two refrigerators and a garage for staging was ideal. Covered outdoor decks were fantastic for additional space - game changer in the rain! The whole family loved it. We will be back!
