Unfortunately, zero parking spots were available in the entire community. The first 2 Vacasa reps I spoke to were so rude - Jilian refused to contact a manager, and Johnny told me to sleep in my car overnight when it was 20 degrees and snowing! I think they should be fired. Finally, Rod was kind and able to put me in contact with the local manager, and he was very helpful. The property itself was beautiful, spacious, and clean. Only one bathroom had hot water, the other was lukewarm.

The condo was a mile from the mountain and with the Mountaineer App we didn’t have to drive at all which was fabulous! The hot tub was great and the location better - we will be back.

The unit was nicely appointed, well equipped, everything worked with exception of coffee bean grinder, did contact property manager with some questions and they were not familiar with the property or location, couldn’t answer our question , we figured it out though, otherwise the unit was comfortable and worked well for our vacation

Loved the location of this sweet little condo to access all the fun of Lake Tahoe. The beds were super comfy, unit very clean, kitchen well equipped. The exterior of the complex is in need of repair and upgrades, but I suppose the value of this condo reflects this.

This was a beautiful condo. I would definitely stay here again.
My only suggestions would be to add shower gel in both bathrooms, better coffee maker with compatible filters and a full set of wine glasses.

Everything was clean and well kept. Not a lot of cookware. There was a little road noise. The entry way stairs was worn out and broken drywall. But overall, the home was very nice.

This townhome is well appointed and just minutes from the slopes. My family of three were very comfortable.

We arrived and found the 2 flights of outdoor steps to the unit had over 2 feet of snow on them AND there was no snow shovel in the unit or anywhere to be found. We did our best dragging all our luggage up the stairs and eventually bought a snow shovel. The outdoor steps should be flagged as part of the advertisement for the unit and we fault the owner for not having a shovel. There was no information about parking and we had to fend for ourselves; the advertisement says there are 2 parking spaces but the truth is that it is first come first served and when there is a lot of snow - good luck. The unit was poorly supplied: there was no salt & pepper; no coffee filters; no scrub brush for washing dishes; and no tea kettle. Vacasa was no help and the HOA was MIA. The hot tub is far away through snow and slush and others said they could not get into it through the locked gate - we didn't try. This should also be flagged in the ad for the property. Otherwise the unit was clean and comfortable.

the main selling point was that there would be a hotub... only after purchasing the room did it tell you that it was out of order or not shoveled, etc.

Stayed here in a pinch after Vacasa cancelled the night before on me at 9pm.
Home was poorly stocked in the kitchen, cabinets were broken, the house wasn’t shoveled out and the description fails to mention it’s a three story walk up. Slip and falls were common.
Vacasa customer service is truly terrible unless you are already at a property.
I would recommend booking any other property not managed by Vacasa.

We enjoyed this home for our vacation. Since it was at the beginning of the road up to Palisades it was easy to get to PalisadesTahoe and Tahoe City or Truckee. Plenty of room for our family of 4.

I loved this ski flat. Plenty of room and the haunted ceilings added to the spaciousness. Great kitchen and balcony. Would highly recommend booking this location.

We stay in half dozen of ski condos every year and this is one of the best condos we have ever rented (this was our second stay in this place). This condo is just beautiful, decorated with stunning skiing themed photographs by a renown artist, and equipped with modern tasteful furniture. The location is the best you can get for skiing at Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows, just few minutes away from each. Kitchen is well equipped for simple cooking, though having one extra set of silverware would help.

This was a very nicely decorated 2Br/2Ba, plus a large loft. Easily sleeps 6 people. Really incredible photographs on the walls. You can't get much closer to the slopes without being in the Village. The unit is on the 3rd Floor, so there are 2 flights stairs you have to take all your belongings up. The kitchen was stocked adequately. Could use more serving bowls. Dishwasher and other appliances are a little dated. Otherwise, was a very pleasant stay. bedding was comfortable and there were extra blankets available. The other negative is that the towels in the bathroom were very damp. Like they ran out of time to fully dry the towels. There is a washer and dryer in the unit, so we just threw them back into the dryer.

The propery was exactly as listed, pristine clean and organized, with a very well thought use of every space. It's 4 minutes drive to Palisades' base, and 10 minutes to Alpine, so perfectly placed for skiing. We would definitley stay again.

Pros: ideal location in Olympic Valley, just off 89. Nice floorplan. Unit smelled strongly of cleaning product and was clean (aside from extra covers below)
Cons or things to be aware of:
*3rd floor unit. Not a problem but not advertised anywhere. Challenging to find when arriving late at night. No elevator if traveling with elderly (not our case)
*unit is bare basics
-no ski rack or peg rack to put skis?
-kitchen frying pans are well loved and could use replacing
-limited large bowls for serving food or salad
-no tupperware; if making your own meals for skiing, bring your own
-no foil, saran wrap, ziplocks etc.
-chair cushions in dining area are all stained and need to be washed
-comforters are lightweight. We were especially cold the first night.
****MINIMAL extra covers (2 for 6 beds) The two we found were stained with **BLOOD** & yellow stains*******
-toilet in main hall has broken chain mechanism that is jerry-rigged and it kept needing to be reattached
-only one washcloth per bathroom with an occupancy of 6
-BUZZING/whirring sound in hot water heater and furnace closet which is behind sofa in main living area.
-fireplace operation requires detailed directions, which we couldn’t find anywhere despite listing mentioning they were on fireplace and in the guest book. There was no guest book to be found. We called Vacasa and they said they would send someone out on Friday night. I finally found instructions on the floor UNDER the couch. I also received an email 2 days later with electronic instructions.
We made sure to document our frustrations via the app. By Sunday night (the 3rd night into our stay), we got a text message from the local Vacasa rep saying they were out of comforters and could bring some Monday. We were checking out Monday.
Review of Vacasa: if you have no issues, your stay should be amazing. We found it challenging that we could never speak with anyone local at Vacasa, we could only deal with their call center in Oregon. Our issues never were addressed. We ended up sleeping in sweatshirts and hats and finally turned up the heat, which we don’t like to do because we don’t sleep as well.
As mentioned, we called Vacasa, submitted emails with pictures and even texts to give them an opportunity to fix some of these issues before leaving a review but when you can’t even speak with a local representative it is virtually impossible to resolve problems.

We loved this apartment! Quick drive to Tahoe City and Olympic Valley, and the place is super cute. Easily fit five of us with extra room, and the main room with the fireplace is really nice.

Great home base for ski trip!
Location, location, location. This place was minutes from Olympic Village and Alpine Meadows and 20-30 minutes from several other ski resorts in the area. Added bonus, it is literally across the street from ski rental place. We really enjoyed our stay here. Comfy and spacious.

This unit is nicely appointed and spacious. The photos are intriguing - making ski pics into art. We rented late in the season and it worked out well. It was fairly well stocked, but at as of this writing, a few kitchen items are in need of replacement. Overall we were pretty happy.

Not a good stay. Beware on the low price catch. Things dont work as promised
We spent 5 days of our 7 day vacation trying to fix the following issues
1. Water clogging in the shower (3 days to fix)
2. Refrigerator not cooling (5 days to fix.. Does not yet cool fully. We lost a lot of baby and senior food)
3. DIshwasher not working with a puddle at the bottom after cycle completes. After fixing the issue yet persists
4. Lock box very hard to open. Neighbor had to help us and to open the box. They replaced it.
5. Main Screen door did not open due to broken latch.
All in all This was not a good vacation for us. We were ready to head back on the 4th day.

Beware summer visitors, there is NO A/C!!!! This important detail is missing from the unit description. I hope they add it on the property listing. Inside the unit was between 87 and 93 degrees our entire visit! Unable to cool it down even at night. Master bedroom faces main road and window could not be left open due to excessive and very loud road noise and I was wearing ear plugs! The balcony is shared with direct access from the stairs, not secure at all to leave the slider door open for ventilation during the night. Loft bedroom was, therefore, even hotter. Master bath tub doesn’t drain. Two inches of dirty dishwater in machine after every wash. Stained sheets, dirty areas rugs, poor cleaning job. Found pretzels on the floor in master. Kitchen is tiny and pans are old and burnt up. Plenty of dishes though. If you plan to cook a lot, you should bring your own stuff. Refrigerator is more than adequate. Aesthetic of the unit is decent. Parking is horrible unless you get lucky with the first three spots or the few available on the right. Otherwise you have to park clear on the other side of the complex. Also four flights of stairs up was annoying and the HOA doesn’t maintain the outside very well as there was a lot of trash on the grounds and in stairwell. We had another unit rented in Tahoe City which suddenly became unavailable and Vacasa recommended this one, or one in Truckee. We opted for this one, but were very disappointed. I realize Vacasa cannot personally vet every property and they were gracious enough to refund two nights for our inconvenience. Kudos to them! But this unit is FAR from the 5 stars many have rated it.

Great place!
It’s a nice place to stay, everything was clean, unfortunately we tried to use the toaster and it wasn’t working, and the AC was not very responsive. Other than that the furniture was in good condition and had an overall good experience.
