This property was the perfect environment for our family (my husband and I, our 2 pups, and our daughter and her children). The house is well stocked with everything we could have needed, is very clean, and is in a nice quiet environment. The backyard was perfect for the pups and the kiddos, and the many comfy spots within the house to sit and talk, read, think, and pray provided our family members with the opportunity to be together at a time of sadness and profound grief (we were in town for our mom’s funeral). Russ and Lea were amazing hosts- accommodating and compassionate, extremely responsive to our needs and requests for changes in our stay due to weather and other unavoidable circumstances. We are so very thankful to have had the opportunity to rent their beautiful home, and will certainly rent again if given the opportunity to do so.

My parents stayed here while searching for a new home. Layout of home was great! Nice fenced yard for their dog to run around. Wished they had access to park their cars in the garage. The owner responded quickly to any issues, questions or concerns. Including having the cable company out to fix problems with the internet. Overall great experience!

The house was beyond perfect for a younger family. Lots of books and toys. The neighborhood was wonderful To ride scooters or play outside. The kitchen was so well equipped it was easy to just stay in! Only negative was the WiFi wasn’t all the way on the other side of the house and the tv could rarely read the connection.

We enjoyed our stay. House furnished with everything you could possibly need. Little disappointed that tv in living room only had three channels but bedroom tv had cable. Not quite sure why that tv did not have cable but hooked up for antenna tv. The home was a little misty at first. Cleaning lady might want to use spray for musty smell especially for people who are sensitive. Other than these two issues house was perfect.

The house was so nice and had everything you could need

The first time we walked in, we felt very comfortable in the house. And in our case the house was in the perfect location, as it was near our family. The house was located in a nice, quiet subdivision near grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping. The walk in shower in the master bathroom was a plus, as well as the comfortable king size bed. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the clothes washer and dryer appeared to be recently purchased. Would liked to have had cable TV with all of the holiday football games on ESPN. However, the house did have WiFi, so I was able to stream the games. A couple of suggestions would be to replace the couch in the TV room, as it was not very comfortable. Would also liked to have had the motion detector light in front of the garage working. My wife recently had her hips replaced and not being familiar with the driveway and sidewalk, especially at night, I was concerned. Wasn't sure what we were suppose to do prior to leaving, regarding the trash, linens and dirty dishes, so we did some clean up. FYI, if you are thinking of renting, the owner has a key pad lock on the front door and about a week prior to leaving, he sends an email with the code. We had a late flight and we did not expect to get to the house until 12:30 am. I was getting very concerned how I was to get the keys to the house, especially at that time of night, until I received his email. Bottom line, we did enjoy the house, we did feel comfortable and will certainly keep it in mind for future trips.

Great place for the money, stayed there for a family wedding. Plenty of space for 5 adults. minutes from our venues we needed to be at. Clean comfy beds great showers and kitchen. I have only 2 drawbacks Tv's only had a few channels Patio outside was hard to enjoy at night because Miskito's were terrible will stay here again.

Well appointed family home that had everything we needed for 3 nights in the Charlotte area. The beds and furnishings were very comfortable, the house was nice and clean, accessing/checking into the property was seamless, and the house was in a great location close to everything. This house was very warm and welcoming. It had everything you could ask for when renting a house. It was very clean and comfortable.

Good location & neighborhood. TV area is 1 tiny couch so, not great if you had a group, we were only 2. We slept on the floor in that room because we couldn't get cable to work in the 1 bedroom w/tv. Clean, but I'm sure there would be lots of odor if there weren't air freshness in all plugs. Ancient carpet & furnishings. Looks like some ones parents died, & they just rent as is. I left 4 empty water bottles in the sink (all other dishes left in dishwasher running) and the owner is accusing me of leaving dishes everywhere & breaking a window!! Thank God for video I took as leaving. I own a 4k+ square foot colonial home for the last decade, 4 miles from here. Stayed during a remodel. Pretty sure I know how to conduct myself in another home. Very disappointed with the owner. He hung up on me as I denied his accusations. Keep looking.

We loved this house. It had a lit of charm. There was plenty of room so we were not sitting on top of each other. The house was clean, beds comfortable. We loved the furniture especially the wooden pieces, they were beautiful. I wish the weatber had been nicer so we could have sat on the back patio or walked through the neighborhood. Two of our ladies had to cancel due to family illness. We did get one replacement. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.

When we arrived everything in order. After a long drive, we were so thankful for a clean home, comfortable beds, and peaceful atmosphere. One of the mornings when we woke up, in the backyard were 3 beautiful deers, grazing. The community very pleasant to walk thru. We liked the house in General, however the house needs a thorough cleaning. The carpet was very dirty, there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher, there were long dark hairs in the shower and the towels and wash clothes smelled bad. The den where the TV is located was not a very comfortable space. My suggestion is to locate a TV in the living room. I sprayed everything including the sheets and linens down with Lysol. I had to pay a cleaning fee for a dirty house and was not very happy. After using VRBO for 5 years this was our greatest disappointment. Also the owner is very difficult to contact. The house is in a good neighborhood and could be great with some work.

Very Peaceful area.

We weren't in Charlotte on vacation. We needed a place to stay for a few days while our house was receiving a ceiling makeover. Also needed a place that was willing to accept or dogs. I contacted Russ and he was very accommodating. The house was perfect. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen and the rest of the house was well stocked with everything we needed. We loved the fenced in yard for our dogs. Had we not been locals, I would say this home is in a great location to be able to access lots of the great things to do in Charlotte. There's are plenty of restaurants and shopping very close by. During our stay, our host even called to check on us and make sure everything was ok. I appreciated that.

This property was convenient to all areas. Everything was clean and cozy. The kitchen and linens were stocked with all of the essentials. Beds were very comfortable. Neighborhood was very quiet. I would use this location in the future as well as recommend it. The only thing that would be a great addition is an outdoor grill. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay.

There were plenty of towels, and blankets. It had nice new washer, and dryer. The host was very helpful. Also had a fenced in backyard that worked well for our dog. We hope to come back again.
