Host family live upstairs and we found it very noisy late at night after exhausting journey to Amstrdm the night before--didn`t seem to be any soundproofing between the floors.

Accomodation was unbelievable gorgeously. The terrace in front of the apartment was charming and passers-by stopped and asked if we lived there. Or they greeted us as locals. That was amazing.

we had a wonderful stay. the location is perfect and the apartment is super nice. always wanted to stay in a house by the canal and this was absolutely perfect. marlies the host was so welcoming and friendly. thanks for a lovely stay!

Fantastic location and the best host we have ever had. Lovely gifts and an unexpected mid-stay clean. Great communication including personalised recommendations. Do yourself a favour and book this place for your visit to Amsterdam.
Both wi-fi and cellular range was not great. Had to sit by front window to work without signal continuously dropping out.

Marlies and her family made us very comfortable and let us check in two hours early when we arrived in a downpour. She made us an apple pie and served us hot coffee while she cleaned the apartment. Her son conversed with us in English and even sang me "happy birthday" in Dutch and in English because it was my birthday!!! It was a beautiful spot in a central location.
The weather was the only thing that could be faulted. The property has no control over that! It was interesting being located right in the red light district, but I never noticed any falllout from that.

This place was perfect for our family. After a long flight we were greeted by the host. The location is amazing and the place has everything you need. Bed and pillows were very comfortable too!

Location is perfect, it is very close to all of the main attractions. Beautiful shops and restaurants nearby. The host is lovely and has wonderful local knowledge of Amsterdam it made our trip very enjoyable.
