Location is fantastic in the less touristy bit of Florence. Rooms are large, clean all new furnishings. Staff incredibly friendly . Would definitely come back

Really beautiful hotel for a very reasonable price. The staff are exceptionally helpful – nothing is too much trouble. Also very secure with multiple coded gates. The room I had was beautiful – very spacious, beautiful bath and well decorated.
The road outside is a bit noisy so bring earplugs. The breakfast is just a cold buffet which is nice, but no cooked options.

Amazing staff amazing location and fabulous rooms but the best was the all day cakes/fruit and coffee/tea free for guests. Super soft towels extra comfy bed and we love the mix of modern furniture with the old.Very well run establishment they just get how to treat their guest right we would highly recommend. Definitely worth staying in Oltrarno Splendid it was perfection

The staff at Oltrarno could not have been nicer. And the hotel's location was great--just across the Arno and away from the crowds. The design of the rooms and public areas also was great. We can't wait to stay there again or at one of the company's sister hotels. This is a gem of a hotel in a beautiful city.

Location was perfect! Just a few steps from the Arno river, walk across the bridge and you're close to the Uffizi, Duomo. Academia Galleria (the David), downtown Florence - an incredibly walkable and romantic city. Hotel staff was so helpful and accommodating, even booking us tickets to see sights and reservations for their fav restaurants. We are so grateful. Also, rooms mix old-world charm with antiques and modern decor, incorporating colorful, fun art. Would totally stay here again!

Staff is fantastic! The rooms and common areas are beautifully designed with many interesting details. Great coffee, and the lady who was preparing breakfast was so kind and made the best soy cap I've had in Italy!
Street noise as the building is historical no soundproofed windows.

location and quirkiness
Both shower heads broke for no reason while I was in the shower. extremely bad especially in a delux room. the rooms were very gloomy even with all the lights on. although my delux room was large there was no table to write anything. there was no comfortable lounge to sit in if you wanted to meet up with others without disturbing people. overall not very comfortable and very expensive for the quality.

This is a fabulous place to stay, convenient but away from the main tourist area, charming and wonderfully stylish and our king room was enormous (as was the bed). Alberto was very welcoming and we loved being able to grab a snack and a coffee (even on collecting our luggage after we had checked out).
Nothing. Street was quite noisy and lively heading into the weekend, but to be expected in the middle of Florence - part of the experience!

Absolutely loved our stay! The location is incredible, in the middle of the old town walking distance from the sea, restaurants and the wall. Our room had an amazing kitchenette we didn't use it but if yu wanted to make breakfast or something in the room you easily could (there is a supermarket and local food market around the corner).

The service from the concierges Leonardo, Alberto ans Davide was first class. They had excellent knowledge of unique/local experiences. They all went above and beyond to help us with reservations, taxis and just generally lovely to talk to. I spoke about the service first because it really made our stay in Florence. The room was super large and beautifully decorated, as an architect/artist the entire hotel was really inspiring to stay in. The location is super close to the central action but away from tourist heavy zones which was exactly what we wanted. The area is more authentically local but clearly the cool
Kid part of town which we loved. Great food, shopping and drink options nearby. Like literally on the same block.

We stayed here for the beginning of our Tuscan honeymoon, and it was the perfect start.
The room was phenomenal - so comfortable and despite being above a busy street, completely quite. Very much felt like an oasis.
The staff were outstanding, so helpful and friendly.
We arrived late, after reception closed. But the communication from the staff regarding entry was perfect, and made checking in really easy.
Breakfast was great, very simple which is perfect to get you set up and started for a day exploring the city.
The hotel itself is perfectly suited for exploring Florence, surround by great local bars and restaurants.
Would highly recommend.
Rooms with baths in - maybe some bath salts or bubble bath?
Really clutching at straws here, as it really was a perfect stay.
