Breakfast was great, beautiful rooftop terrace. Staff were friendly and service was prompt.

Breakfast was great, beautiful rooftop terrace. Staff were friendly and service was prompt. 15 min walk into central attractions like Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque.

Overall - nothing to complain about, we got exactly what we paid for and it was great value.

Estancia muy agradable. Todo el personal del hotel es muy atento. Las habitaciones muy cómodas y buen servicio de limpieza. Nos encantó el desayuno variado que ofrecen. Totalmente recomendable.

Solide für einen Kurzaufenthalt

Frühstück und Frühstücksterrasse waren super. (Es wäre noch hilfreich wenn die Speisen beim Frühstück beschriftet werden würden) Das Personal war sehr freundlich und bemüht. Es wurde uns vorab auch ein Flughafentransfer organisiert. Preis ist gut.

Kanalgeruch sowohl im Badezimmer als auch im Spabereich. Wir hatten ein Dreibettzimmer gebucht aber ein Doppel plus ein Einzelbett bekommen mit der Begründung es sei größer. Das Zimmer ist für 3 Personen aber viel zu eng man kann sich nichtmal rühren.

Sehr gute Lage,alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Personal war sehr freundlich und das Frühstück auch sehr lecker und für jeden gibt es etwas.

Возможно надо поработать в системой вентиляции, чтоб избавиться от ночной сырости.

Отдыхала с подружками в 29.03.24 по 01.04.24 отель очень неплохой, все заявленные качества соблюдены. Да, немного уставший, и возможно нужен ремонт, но уборка в номере каждый день. Из нашего номера в котором мы оставляли ужасный бардак, горничная нам делала идеальный порядок. Завтраки это отдельная тема. Выбор на любой вкус, а вид на мраморное море создавал такое настроение, что не хотелось уходить с террасы. Место расположение тоже очень удачное, не в самой гуще событий, но и до всех достопримечательностей рукой подать. Стамбул это любовь. Отель рекомендую.

Единственный минус, это то что наши окна выходили в какую то жопоньку. Но и это простительно, ведь в эти окна нам просто некогда было смотреть.

Nicht zu empfehlen.

Der Ausblick von der Dachterrasse.

Die Zimmer bzw. das Bad riecht extrem schlecht. Die Fliesen im Bad waren teilweise schimmIig. Wir hatten 2 Zimmer zur Straßenseite, was extrem laut war, da die Autos sich ständig vor dem Hotel stauen und in einer Tour hupen. In einem Zimmer funktionierte die Klimaanlage nicht. Das Frühstück war auch ziemlich einfach, das Brot nicht frisch, kaum Obst im Angebot.

An amazing experience

The hotel was perfectly equipped and very clean. The rooftop terrace for the breakfast has a wonderful view over the sea. The location is absolutely perfect and many sites can be reached within walking distance. A special mention to the personnel : everyone was absolutely wonderful and did everything to make our stay unforgettable, allways willing to help with good advice or bookings.

Awesome hotel with friendly staff

1. The location of the hotel - Fatih, historical center of Istanbul, nearby Bosphorus and all the historical sites, there are a lot of bars, shops and restaurants in the area; 2. Caring and accommodating staff - everyone - reception, housekeeping, F&B are professionals and very friendly, will make your stay comfortable; would like to notice night shift, very helpful) 3. Breakfast is amazing, very tasty (and BIG, Turkish hospitality, be careful, you can gain a couple of kilos :D) and you have different options to choose. Restaurant is situated on the 7th floor, so you can have a breakfast with a great view on Sea of Marmara; 4. The room - even a standard double room is OK, not small, I would even say that the bathroom is big for these types of rooms; there you have everything you need; 5) Spa is amazing, specialists are awesome and for a good price;

1. Toilet flush is working specifically, you need to push it hard before the water will show up in a need amount, it wasn’t a problem for me, but for my wife - yes; 2. The shower is quite specific as well - if you want to hold it and to chill/use shampoo/gel, you need to find an exact angle to hold it, because if not, the pressure will kick out the hose up to the top; 3. The curtains are OK, but they don’t create an absolute darkness during the night; Anyway, if doesn’t affect our stay, but these cons should be noticed.

Good stay and I recommend it

Breakfast menu was very good with big variety. Breakfast restaurant is on the roof and has a good view over Marmara Sea. Good room. The hotel is 10 to 15 minutes walk to Sultanahmet square and tram station (but some streets requires climbing).

Just the beverages at the breakfast with no varieties and coffee quality was not so good.

Good Stay , Excellent lady manager Adema

Everything about the property was great starting from breakfast to support provided by Adema. I frequently travel to multiple countries but the experience that I had with manager Adema was very pleasant , she was very hospitable and helped us with getting to understand the city better and that made the stay really good

Excellent stay that exceeded my expectations.

My room was perfectly clean, spacious with a very comfortable bed. The hotel is very well located providing easy access to Istanbul's historic sites. Also, the breakfast was delicious with great service. A big thank you to the friendly staff! I would definitely recommend Skalion Hotel & Spa to anyone wishing to visit Istanbul as a tourist or for work.

The team work very hard to make sure you feel welcomed and provide a 5 star experience.

The overall hotel experience was exceptional. The room we were provided with was very spacious and clean. The staff at the hotel made us feel like family as they welcomed us with a bright smile each time we met. They catered to any needs we had as soon as possible. The breakfast was amazing with lots of variety and also changed everyday, which I was pleasantly surprised about. The view from the balcony was amazing and accompanied the breakfast they provided perfectly. The location of the hotel was great as it was in a 20 minute walking distance from all the main attractions such as the blue mosque, Hagia Sophia mosque, the grand bazaar, spice bazaar and Topkapi palace. Overall the experience at this hotel was not what I expected from a 4 star hotel at all as they went above and beyond and if anything resembled the features of a 5 star hotel. I would like to thank all the management, chefs and other staff members for their amazing customer service during out stay.

They were no negatives at all. They really did an amazing job.

Didn’t have it, I was unimpressed with the hotel and didn’t want to stay a minute longer than necessary. The fact that I checked in late at night so couldn’t find alternative accommodation until the next morning!

Appalling room, lack of light View from window was building site next door what looked like a slum!

Nice staff but very noisy

Staff is nice, breakfast is good and with a view, location is close to many things to visit

Very noisy, you can literally ear people speaking in the room beside (and clients are loud no matter the time...). Ceiling is low and bed is not that comfortable. To resume more a 3 stars than 4, it's little bit overpriced.
