Chambre plutôt calme, avec petit déjeuner, simple mais complet, servi "au lit" chaque matin. Localisation parfaite pour visiter la ville (le centre) d'Amsterdam à pieds. Café (soluble) et thé (sachet) à volonté dans la chambre. Réservation d'un taxi (gratuit !) pour nous amener de l'aéroport à l'hôtel, via booking, très pratique et bienvenue.

Le prix était vraiment très élevé pour un hôtel deux étoiles (359e la nuit !!), et au départ on nous à demander de régler en cash (car la machine CB était supposément défectueuse). Paiement la jour du départ où la machine CB s'est subitement remise à fonctionner.

I forgot my jacket at the hotel and only realised the day after. I have tried to call them and I have had no answer so I had to come back as I was still in the Netherlands but in another city. When I arrived they did have the jacket put aside for me and they were quick to return it as soon as I walked into the hotel without having to explain the situation which was really appreciated. Breakfast served directly in your room. Great balcony.

Very thin walls. You could litterally hear and understand other people's conversation in the room next door.

The location is perfect. It's just a few hundred meters from Dam square and Anne Frank house. All kinds of shops and restaurants nearby. Short walk to many places and the tram also goes right next to the hotel. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast came to the room every morning at 8.30. My room was towards the back yard garden and it was nice and quiet at nights.

The stairs are very steep so the hotel is suitable for people with disabilities or difficulties walking the stairs.

Location

The toilet was shared but very clean. Breakfast is usually served between 8:45 and 9 in your room. The staff was very helpful and brought it to me at 8am instead, as I had to leave earlier than that. However, earlier than 8am would not have been possible. Room is very small but comfortable

You need to climb few floors of very steep stairs to get to the rooms (no elevator available). This wasn't a problem for me, but it could be for old people or travellers with heavy luggage.
