The location (close to all the streets in the center) and the very friendly receptionist.
•Our shower did not have warm/hot water.
•The windows did not close properly. Therefore the noise levels were very high.
•The price-value is very low. We paid 134€ for one night.

Not much-the staff was great but the conditions made me leave early
It is over a bar, so it smells like weed and you hear people throwing up all night in the street. No elevator and the stairs are basically a ladder with carpet on them. It was really gross. Paid for three night and could barely stand one.

- Location: Well situated and easy to reach
- I could store my luggage before check-in and after check-out
- The room was so tiny I could barely open my suitcase
- It was very hot in the room, despite it not being very hot outside. I had the ventilator running the entire night and it was still very hot
- Even with a closed window, it was so loud as the room was directly opposite of a Karaoke bar
- The room was in a bad state, lots of scratches and worn-off furniture (see photos)
- The sliding door of the shower was broken and didn't close properly
- The towels were dirty: either I had a bunch of hair on it (not mine, I am blonde and those were dark, long hairs) or I had red/orange stains on the towels that were supposed to be fresh (both see photos)
- All in all, I felt like in a prison and could barely sleep for the three nights. I am a small person and cannot picture how a large and/or bigger person would cope with this kind of room.
- I cannot believe I paid more than 100€/night

Amazing location, Frankie was helpful, as were all the staff, very friendly, the hotel always feels like home. The rooms are basic but perfect for what you need to stay in Amsterdam. The toilet and shower facilities are good quality, Great Size TV, comfy beds, plenty of towels and pillows and good storage space in the room. Perfect hotel for 3/4 nights stay over.
If your mates snore, get a bigger, or even better, completely separate room.

Good, central location.
Across road from karaoke bar that's open till 3 in morning. Fittings very old and battered. Not dirty but not particularly clean either.

Was checked in efficiently and the electronic key worked well throughout.
Romm was up three flights of stairs. Furniture consisted of one bed and one pouffe. Ridiculously small and cramped. Bathroom reminded me of aircraft- no room to turn round. Very bad all round for the €90 or so per night that I was paying.

Mostly location…located a 5 min walk from train station and convenient. Be aware though it is closer to the Red Light District and while Amsterdam is a very safe city, after dark in that area females can expect to be accosted by drunk tourists and homeless. Be aware of your surroundings at all times and as always, be very forceful when saying NO and walking away.
The 172 stairs to the 4th floor was miserable (typical Dutch narrow stairways). Room itself was clean but bathroom door handle broken and hanging off.

It's not really a hotel. The room is extremely small. The TV and shower were broken. It generally didn't feel safe for a female solo traveller.

Location. Very central and close to the train station.
The room was so small, I had to move my luggage to open the door of the room and the bathroom door.
The room was very warm and it was too noisy outside to open the window

Being woken at 4.00am by 2 drunken woman trying to get into the room and when confronted had a card showing they had been allocated to the same room. Thankfully, their key card didn't work. Still didn't appreciate being woken and the abuse we received.

even Sundays there is a lot of noise in the street (as the hotel description says) - I didn’t expect that. window can’t be fixed opened.

The location is perfect!
No elevators! Bad smell but it was very clean. The smell I guess is because of the sewer pipe. Room is very small but enough for 1 person but if i were travelling with somebody else it wouldn’t be confortable!! The hotel reception is a bar
