Vilnius and Congress Avenue Hotel both exceeded our expectations

Location was great, walking distance to Old Town and many attractions. Breakfast was very good, lots of food, hot and cold. Room and bathroom were both big, and from the balcony/rooftop terrace one had a lovely view of the cathedral and the castle on the hill.

Lack of English channels on the TV, only one, France24 (English). BBC News and Discovery channel would have been great.

great hotel in great location.

location is superb, right in the city centre near all the tourist things and shops. room was spacious with very comfortable bed, good bathroom. very helpful staff and a pretty good breakfast selection.

the only negative thing is that i think the pillows were a little too soft for my liking.

Nice, but the quality of cleaning is bad

The location is great. My room was comfortable.

The sink was clogged and the water was stagnant. After cleaning up, I found hair in cups on the table((

Modern and clean hotel in a perfect location. Enjoyed the nice view through the window and the comfortable king-size bed. In general, all the furniture seemed to be brand new (not worn out). Good value for money.

Location is a centre of a city , staff polite and smily, bathroom shower has a lot of space , breakfast has many varieties of the food

The restaurant on the arrival day should close at 18:00, trying to have a lunch at 17:00 , due to the flight delay and didn’t like it , that just managed to eat soup in harry. No GYM at the hotel - was so disappointed

We had a very enjoyable stay at Congress Avenue Hotel.

A very pleasant, efficient hotel with a very good breakfast.

The location of the hotel is perfect! Right on the main avenue. Parking is expensive but there is no choice, if you have a car, reserve parking in advance!

Not really a 4 star hotel. The lobby is small, the staff is not the most pleasant, very apathetic. Reasonable breakfast... the room is nice, nothing special. If the price was cheaper by a few hundred euros it would be totally worth it. The only significant advantage of the hotel is its perfect location.

Prestigious location but some flaws

Centrally located, right on Gedimino Blvd. and in close proximity to the cathedral, the old town and restaurants. Modern, well maintained rooms. Good breakfast.

The central location turned out to be a disadvantage, as this part of the town was closed down on our departure day because of a marathon. This is nothing the hotel can be blamed for, but what they can be blamed for is that they did not provide any information as to how to leave the area by taxi. I asked a day in advance and was told that taxis would be available near the Novotel hotel. Since a look down the street made this seem unlikely I asked again upon departure and was told that taxis were allowed to go to Totoriu Rd. None of this information was correct and we had to walk down to the river with our luggage in pouring rain to catch a taxi on the other side of the brigde. Out of 4 nights we only had room service on one night (1st night). On the other three nights there was no room service, but once our towels got changed although we had not even asked for new towels (towels had not been placed on the floor). The staff is not overly friendly. There is no greeting of guests when they walk by, especially the staff in the restaurant can't be bothered to smile or greet their guests.
