Great small quaint cottage. Fantastic views of the bay. Janice was very helpful and communicated with me quickly. My wife and I were very pleased with the ata. Would definitely try and stay there again.

Amazing cottage with room for the 5 of us, 3 teens and us parents. Beautiful deck with space to eat, read a book, grill and lay down. Outdoor shower has warm settings so you can swim on a cooler day and not freeze before you enter the cute cottage.
I cooked 3 meals a day and baked often. It was an ample size kitchen with plenty of cookware and bakeware. Muffins, breads. Yum.
The freezer was stocked with ice and the fridge was good sized. The 1 5 bathrooms were great. The kids loved their rooms and we loved the cozy bedroom with a great view. Tv had all the channels for the late nights for the teens.
Great beach. Chairs were reasy for you to take down the short walk to the boardwalk.
Beach and water was lovely.

Disappointment. We were under the impression we were much closer to the water. Water views ONLY!! If you are looking to get away with a beach front property this isn’t the place.
If you like accordion doors, exterior laundry and the smell of dog urine as you enter your front door then you have found your place. The decor was dated, the couch was scratchy and smelled of dog and we found chips and crackers from previous renters in between the cushions and in other various places throughout the week.
We attempted to leave our first day and get at least a partial refund or placed in a different location this unfortunately didn’t occur because we didn’t call within 12 hours .. in fact it was less than 24 hours when we reached out to discuss our concerns.
We were happy to hear our dog could join but we expected to be able to bring him onto the beach without hassle. He was only aloud on the beach in the early morning and evening hours. In fact our last morning we were very rudely confronted with a resident on the beach about our dog.
With 2 younger children who likes sand toys, paddle boards and lunch at the beach it was just another day shlepping our stuff in a beach buggy down the long walkway and then of course getting it down a steep staircase. The value for this property and our experience did NOT match. For what we paid for the week .. we could have been in an all inclusive resort with no dishes and a comfortable place to sit at night. In our experience renting in the Sandwich area over the past 6 years this was our most disappointing rental.

The cottage was beautiful. I can't think of a single thing that it was lacking. Our host, Janice, was friendly, informative and very accommodating. We would rent it again anytime we plan on vacationing on Cape Cod.

Even though she was away during my stay she was very present, checking in by email on my arrival and mid-week. The house was clean and well-stocked. The beds were comfy. There was a cozy gas fireplace insert that warmed the whole house when there was a storm. Most importantly the house sits on the dunes. Every morning I could watch seals play in the water while I had coffee at the dining table. The boardwalk to the beach steps away. The neighborhood is a private area - safe to walk the dog without traffic. There are miles of beach to walk. I plan to return! A lovely host, a quaint house, a perfect spot.

Perfect house and location for our long weekend. Even with wind and cooler weather the views are fantastic from the home. Sandwich is a great option for dining and stores that are open year round.

My brother and I had an excellent time in this cottage by the sea. Great views and location for beach access and to explore the Cape. It was also a safe, comfortable and warm harbor during a Nor’easter that left us with no power for three days. Janice is a wonderful hostess. She was welcoming on our arrival and took thoughtful care of us during the emergency. The neighbors were kind and helpful too.

The view of the ocean from the living/dining area is everything. The neighborhood is secluded and quiet; the sounds of waves lapping the shore and kids having a ball is calming. House is clean and cozy, and Janice, the host, was very welcoming.

If you’re looking for a perfect Cape vacation look no further! This house has it all! I went with my family .. my son and his wife and their two children ages 1 and 3 and my daughter. We all enjoyed the house immensely! It has everything you could possibly need and more! The ocean views are spectacular!
A short walk to the beach was the best especially for naps and trips back to the house to get whatever.
Upon arriving we found the house immaculate ! And fully stocked , beach chairs, umbrella, games etc. The deck is huge and so relaxing with comfortable patio furniture and umbrella picnic table gorgeous ocean and sky views! Can’t wait to go back ! Thank you so much Janice !

Spent 2 weeks at this quaint cottage with spectacular views of Cape Cod Bay. The listing was accurate, the house was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed and spent most nights grilling and eating out on the fabulous deck watching the incredible sunsets. It was peaceful and wonderful to be able to bring our Golden Retriever who was in heaven swimming everyday and laying out on the deck! We would definitely return.

We had two families of 3 staying (2 adults and 1 child each) comfortably in this cottage. It was incredibly clean, great views, and SO close to beach access (perhaps a 120 second walk). The neighborhood was quiet, which was great for a family and getting some much needed rest. The owner came to greet us and gave us some great restaurant recommendations nearby. We truly enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to coming back next year!

The pictures on this rental do not do it justice! The view from the house is incredible and the beach walk is beautiful. It was the perfect place to get away for a week and spend it relaxing. Even the pup had the best time living at the beach. The weather is still a bit chilly, but that didn’t stop us from exploring. Must be even more amazing in the summer!

We had a wonderful time at this property over a long weekend in March and were lucky to have relatively mild weather during our visit. The deck provides a perfect view for relaxing, the private beach is a 2 minute walk (and was empty), and the neighborhood is very quiet. The gas fireplace quickly heats up the house in the evenings-- it was really windy that weekend-- and makes the house feel really cozy. The owner is very helpful and responsive. We also enjoyed the location in East Sandwich. There are restaurants, a great cafe, and a convenience store within a few minute drive. We will definitely come back again in low season!

This was the perfect place for a Covid winter getaway. The view and proximity to the beach was everything. We were able to walk long distances encountering very few people on the beach, despite the cold weather. The house is clean and comfortable. the kitchen is small but well stocked with cookware. Janice was a pleasure from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Our stay at the SeasCape was wonderful!! The views are Amazing, the cottage is Adorable and it has everything you need! It does not disappoint. The property is well-laid out and has a great view of the ocean, while not being right on the beach. It was very quiet and restful. There's a gas-powered fireplace and base-board heating that work really well. It's very well organized and maintained and was a pleasure to share for a brief while

You will not regret choosing this property! The ocean view is stunning and it’s just steps away to the beach. Janice, the host, is so attentive & thoughtful & very responsive. Would absolutely recommend the cottage and will try to get back there myself!
