Amazing location: 15 min walk to town, down quiet street on 1 acre completely private, beautifully landscaped yard. 4,500 square feet of living: great space for large groups, with 3 ensuite baths, and 2 separate living areas. Contemporary decor and new renovations, including all new bathrooms. Incredible amenities: 10 adult bikes, Peloton, 10 beach chairs, beach and pool floats and games, as well as plenty of in-house games and activities. AMAZING LOCATION: 5 min bike and 15 min walk to town, 10 min bike ride to Cisco Brewery, 15 min bike to mid-island Grocery Store, and 15 min bike from several great beaches. HOUSE AMENITIES - Brand new saltwater pool in 2016, with 4 chaise lounge chairs (Pool has automatic cover - very safe for children!) - Pool House with 2 outdoor showers - Huge front and back yard for lawn games - Pool floats/toys and lawn games (croquet, badminton, bocce, spike ball, kan jam, basketball hoop, soccer ball, football, wiffle ball) - 10 adult bikes - 10 beach chairs - Peloton bike - Sheets, towels and beach/pool towels (30 each) included - House fully equipped with all needs (TP, paper towel, hand soap, dish soap, shampoo and bath soap) RENOVATIONS: 2020 Renovation: 2 new bathrooms (master bedroom and twin hallway bedroom) 2018 Renovation: Brand new 2nd master bedroom, 3 brand new baths (1 ensuite in new master, 1 ensuite in downstairs bed, and new first floor powder room) 2017 Renovation: New laundry room with high capacity W/D 2016 Renovation: New pool & pool house, with 2 outdoor showers 2015 Renovation: Central AC throughout house

The house at 12 Hawthorne Lane was the perfect vacation home for my family! It’s extremely versatile with 2 large family rooms inside and 3 different sitting areas outside - a side grill deck with a large sit-down table, a back deck with ample patio furniture, and the swimming pool with big umbrellas and seats. All of the amenities worked so well - a LARGE washer and dryer, an indoor and garage refrigerator, the dishwater, garage to store our bikes, and all kitchen appliances. The house was well stocked with paper products and basic necessities along with ample towels for the swim scene. And the pool! It is awesome - so clean, with an electric pool cover and a pool house with loads of toys and 2 showers.
Overall, the house provided such a practical and warm home for our big family!

Meg’s house was perfect for a long weekend girl’s trip! The 8 of us enjoyed the beautiful pool, yard, and great room. The house is large and and fit our group comfortably. The location was very convenient - walkable to town and close to bike paths. We would definitely recommend!

This was a great house for the size group that we had (8 adults and 3 toddlers). The kids loved having their own space in the basement with bunk beds. The house was spacious enough to not feel like we were crowded and we were able to comfortably eat together. The location is within walking distance to downtown (about a 30 minute walk) and the yard was great for the kids to run around in to burn some energy. Meg was a pleasure to work with on the rental.

The property was a good fit for our group of 10 and had a mix of accommodations to meet our group's needs. There was plenty of space for us all to hang out together or separately, either in the "Great Room" with it's spacious dining table and tv lounge, to the smaller front living room, the outside patios (one outside the kitchen and one outside the "Great Room" ) or the kitchen where we did a lot of cooking together. The outside heated pool and lounge area was a big bonus! The location of the house was outside town, but walkable and there is a bus stop for the "Wave," the island's public transportation system at the top of the road. Cabs responded quickly and had fun, friendly drivers. Our host was very helpful from the beginning of our booking through our stay and had a lot of useful info about the house and Nantucket in general to share with us . I would highly recommend this house and host for those looking for a large group setting in Nantucket.

We needed a large place for about 10 people on Nantucket for my son's wedding week. Megs place was absolutely amazing.... several discrete sleeping areas, 2 huge living rooms, and an amazing outdoor area with pool. Meg was so gracious and generous letting us host the rehearsal party there. We had a food truck and plenty of room for the whole party.
It's very walkable to town, and a very short ride to several beaches.

Gem close to Cisco and Town
Stayed for the 4th of July week this year. Two families, including 6 kids ranging from 9-14.
House is immaculate and well stocked. Beds are super comfortable and the AC is great to keep things dry. The pool is beautiful and a great way to end every day. Two outdoor showers made coming home from the beach easy, not to mention a beautiful spot to cool down after a morning run or ride.
Meg responded to every question promptly and was always easy to work with.

Amazing weekend!
We had an amazing weekend at this house! The weather was gorgeous and the pool was the perfect place to lounge during the day. It was a short walk to town but we opted to use Uber more frequently. (Low cost and always available.) We took advantage of the included bikes and rode to Cisco Beach one morning. Be prepared for a 3 mile ride! The bike paths are great and can easily be accessed from the house. We enjoyed dinner at Ventuno and music at Club Car during our stay. Overall, we had a great stay and cannot wait to come back!

Perfect Nantucket retreat
The house was perfect for our large group with multiple seating areas both indoor and outdoor. We had plenty of spaces to be all together while also places for people to be on their own and the relax. The pool and outdoor set up was perfect for hanging out during the day. Meg was super responsive to communicate with and provided amazing insights on things to do on island.
Be sure to give yourself plenty of time to strip beds, wash towels etc. if you are headed out early on the check out day. Can't wait to get back to ACK!

The house was in excellent shape when we showed up, and was in an incredible location, less than a 10 minute drive from many of the main locations on island (brewery, town, beaches). Happy Place on Nantucket
This house had everything you would need and more. From the fully stocked kitchen to bikes for all and everything in between our party was wishing the week would never end. The house allows for ample places to hang out and creates an environment that even on the rainy days was enjoyable. The closeness to town and the beach as well as cisco brewery allowed our party to be on foot or on bike the entire week. The owners made sure to provide a list of "to do's" on the island which was extremely helpful and added to our family memories. If/when we return to the island we will always look to stay here first.

Beautiful home in a great location
Our large group of 14 had an amazing long weekend at this home. It was well stocked, large enough for all of us to fit comfortably, and had tons of places for us to all spend time together. We had a blast swimming in the heated pool and rode the bikes to town. We had a perfect long weekend!

This house is much bigger than the photos show. Its definitely a great choice for two families. Our children loved the bunk room which is in the lower level, and still not too far for them to find their way to the Master Bedroom in the middle of the night. The Master bedroom half of the house has been updated and is very nice. The house is bright and clean. The pool area is beautiful. The biking/running trail is right across the street from Hawthorne Lane. From the house its a 3 mile run to Cisco beach so a great 6 mile running loop there and back. Meg is very responsive, and helpful and responded to our needs quickly!

Great Location and Terrific Place
Centrally located between town and Cisco beach, the house was a great place to stay for a large group (10 of us) on Nantucket. The outdoor space and pool was awesome. The house was well stocked and included beach chairs and bikes. Recommend it!

We had a wonderful time! The home is cozy but roomy at the same time - great living spaces. The pool and big yard were awesome and so enjoyed that we didn't have as many trips to the beach! Loved this vacation!!!

Everything on the property was as described in the listing. There were several minor issues that came up during the week and the owner / property manager very quickly dealt with them.

Amazing time!
The home is absolutely perfect! My group and i had the most relaxing time and the house had everything we needed for our long weekend away! The location was perfect and the pool is stunning. Could not ask for a better spot on Nantucket!
