Absolutely beautiful. Really the best bushveld view we've seen in a long time. Swimming pool is perfectly located and the interior is lovely. Kitchen well equipped. Aircons are great and the furniture in very good condition. We had a lovely game drive, the guide was super knowledgeable and shared so much info while driving, it was a great trip. We'll be back!

The master bed can be replaced soon. Old spring bed with a wooden frame that cracks very loudly when you sit, sleep or turn around in the bed.

Great to be able to walk and drive freely on the game farm in your own vehicle, as there are no large predators. Carel and his team are friendly, efficient and service orientated.

Our host was amazing from before our arrival till our departure, attentive to our needs. Lodge was cleaned daily by friendly staff. The lodge and facilities were immaculate. We explored the farm, sat round the camp fire at night, swam and created beautiful memories to be treasured.

A Beautiful, spotlessly clean, well run lodge with wonderful staff... In other words Excellent accommodation and a fabulous family bush break venue. The location is an ideal distance from Jhb and Pretoria for a weekend getaway. Nyala Lodge is lovely, with a fantastic view, fabulous outdoor entertainment areas and comfortable rooms. The reserve is beautiful and it's easy to spot lots of plains game. Lastly, Carel is a great host.
