The perfect stay

Amazing hotel, our room was upgraded to a suite free of charge. Staff were so friendly and helpful with everything we needed. Communication was excellent, and really well situated - near china town and the best hawker centre in Singapore

Decent location, great staff, great experience

Staff were excellent, location is decent

Rooms on the ground floor were a bit dingy but we requested a 2nd floor room and the staff were only too happy to relocate us.

the 1st but lasting boutique hotel

everything !!! room was spacious, clean and the linen just like new, very good.. location close to mrt maxwell and foodcourt and chinatown food market... yummm :) thanks for the staff, very helpful, we left some tips to show how we really appriciate to you guys :) even the resto inside the hotel, sofi by pasta brava, reallly italian taste. surely will coming back again to scarlet. to the other guest, dont you try bring durian in your room or any smelly food

Best beds ever. A joy from first second walking in the entrance with fine oriental odor.

top hospitality with a smile. The scarlet is an oriental hidden gem. Match Raffles easily at the top, but just smaller, now one of my favourites

Breakfast is a different level but as it is outsourched doesn't match the Scarlet. But in all no deal breaker

Stylish hotel in an excellent position.

Stylish. Helpful staff. Comfortable room. Well positioned, close to three MRT stations. Lots of bars and restaurants within a short walk. Pleasant roof-top bar.

Just starting to need some attention. Ground floor corridors not as immaculate as when we last visited.

It was a good hotel in a very nice location.

We particularly liked the location, near the Chinatown and not far from the main attractions of the city. We could reach Marina Bay and Gardens by the Bay by foot. Also, a very nice feature of the hotel was the free minibar, daily refilled. Our room was spacious, with good TV and AC.

Some of the staff was not very friendly, although there were also some really kind. The cleaning was not perfect, especially the bathroom. Our room was at the demi-basement, which meant not much sunlight.

Location perfect. Friendly professional staff. excellent room with free mini bar. I got a good deal for 2 nights late week which was great. Loved the rooftop bar!

Thoughtfully delivered service very customer oriented- great boutique hotel

The hotel was in a good location close to Chinatown, pub street and a mixture of restaurants and coffee shops to choose from. Nabila welcomed us on arrival with cool water and helped us take our bags up to our room. Whenever we returned from our explorations, we were offered cold water or tea/coffee in reception and our complimentary drinks in the room were refreshed daily. the room was very comfortable and clean and the shower worked very well. Nabila helped us plan our return trip to the airport avoiding rush hour and the additional problems getting cabs. Faiiz was really helpful getting a car to take us to the airport and helping us with bags. we were also offered a shower to freshen up even though we had checked out. very thoughtful service.

Breakfast was pricy in the attached restaurant.

Great location

Convenient location next to MRT & opposite china town complex where you can find all the shops and restaurants. Staffs are very welcoming & friendly. freebies in mini fridge which get refilled every day :)

Double charged with no explanation

The property took my money upon booking the accomodation, 6-months prior to my stay. 2-weeks after my stay they charged my card again for another $670. When contacted, they provided no explanation for how this had occurred. They state that they have reversed the charge but it’s been almost 3-weeks and this hasn’t occurred yet. Such a poor experience and I suspect a scam to catch people who have forgotten that they paid at the time of booking.

Exceptional

We loved everything about the Scarlet. The room itself is large, clean and comfortable. The wifi is strong. The location is perfect as it is close to two hawker centres and a mass transit station. The staff is nice.

If you are at the far side of the building, it is a few minutes from your room to the door.
