We had booked the holiday inn express on university street well in advance as it was close to Ormeau Park where we were seeing Iron Maiden at Belsonic (the reason we booked the hotel) but when we arrived to check in I was told that it is no longer open to the public, they had contacted us through booking.com to tell us and have moved us to the holiday inn on hope Street which isnt miles away but further away when you have to walk it. I had received no email or messages through the app to inform me of this. There was also another hotel round the corner closed to the public and I'm sure many more throughout Belfast. Not a good move where are our tourists gonna go? So yeah if they have to close it whatever that's their choice but we should have been properly informed and at least subsidised for the inconvenience but hey ho

Location was ideal for easy access to city center. Parking available across the road
We stayed in a room that had an interconnecting door to the room next door. We could hear everything from that room including music being played all night. Very disappointing

I stayed at the Hampton, Hilton and the breakfast was very good. Peter who served me every morning was a star.
The cooked breakfast wasn't always hot and the menu for the main meals was very limited

Breakfast was delicious with a good variety. The room was large enough and comfortable. The location was excellent as it was close to the city centre and titanic museum. Parking was also provided for free.
Towels weren't changed. I had to ask for a fresh set during the week.
