About this house rental
Located in Beech Mountain, this charming house for £213 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Rarely does one find a property and location like SiSo the “Rock”. A true Ski In Ski Out cabin located not only slope side but also has a babbling brook that flows along the back side of the cabin! Why is your cabin called the SiSo the "Rock" ? SiSo (pronounced C So) is short for Ski In Ski Out and the "Rock" is well because of the massive rock in the back yard and the 30' shear rock walls that are on 2 sides of the cabin. One of the first projects that we undertake will be to accent and highlight these amazing natural features. When you arrive you will find a spacious parking area that will accommodate 4 large vehicles and a short walkway that enters on the upper level of the cabin. The Rock has plenty of room to roam. The house has 3 levels with the upper level containing the kitchen, dining room, family room, and a half bath. On the second level you will find the Master bedroom (1 King) with en-suite bath and private balcony that overlooks our small creek and two additional bedrooms (1 Queen and 1 King) with another full bath. The ground floor has a bunk room and a game room, these rooms share a full bath. The house is stocked with 700 thread count sheets and new towels for the comfort of our guests. We have a Keurig coffee maker with traditional coffee and k-cup ability with a variety of K-cups available. Step outside and enjoy the creek sounds and Mountain View’s along with watching the deer play and eat. Newer skiers will have more space to refine their skills located right out the back door of the cabin, called Carolina Caribbean. Lift #1 is right out the backdoor and the Beech Mountain Resort Village is a short walk down the slope. Have your family sit on one of the 3 decks and watch the kids play while you enjoy your drink because you are right in the heart of where things are happening! *The house has a Ring door bell camera at the front entrance. This is mainly to monitor the walk path of snow and trespassers. We also have a camera in the rear of the house to monitor snowfall conditions. *The house has paved city roads leading to it, that are plowed during the ski season. * We rent up to 3 weeks maximum at a time...if your booking is automatically accepted we will refund you immediately and advise of us doing so. The VRBO system does not allow for us to set this in place prior to your booking. ***Winter WARNING*** SiSo The Rock receives 80-100 inches of snow annually. 4X4 or snow chains are highly recommended. We can receive snowfall from October through April. ***Summer WARNING*** Siso The Rock can be cool in the summer months. We do experience wonderful 70's and 80's in the area, but we can experience rainy, cloudy, cool summer days that you will need an extra layer for! For the warmer days...we have an air conditioner on the top floor and the master bedroom on the 2cnd floor.

We had 10 people staying at this property, two family groups and it was perfect for us. There were plenty of bed, all comfortable, and plenty of space for us to stretch out. The kids occupied the 3rd floor and the adults all had rooms on the second. Our party enjoyed exploring the mountain and we would love to visit again sometime.

Our stay made our trip a perfect experience. I love everything about this place and I literally mean everything. Cabin is very beautiful, spacious with a breathtaking view, it has almost everything you need for extended stay. Our family we used to go away ones or twice a year up to the mountains to spend time together and SISO the ROCK has really gone beyond our expectations. This was by far one of the most unique stays we have ever experience. Highly recommend!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Definitely coming back here 😄. Thank you

We stayed at the property for our family ski vacation….it was easily accessible….our grandchildren of all ages loved the house…the young grandchildren loved the hallway bunk beds for playing on the first floor…it was also our late family Christmas and we even had a Christmas tree…the view from the living room and deck was great…the owner stayed in touch and everything was as promised…we loved it!!!

Great location! My favorite was sitting at the firepit in the backyard watching the kids ski down the mountain. Loved the views! Loved the easy access to skiing! Fireplace inside gave a great warm feeling! Loved the game closet! Place was great with everything we needed! Lots of blankets, towels, comfy beds. Can’t wait to stay again!

First time in Beech Mountain- did not know what to expect within the city. Just enough to do something daily- but not overwhelming to keep you overly busy. Restaurants were not worthwhile, we really just enjoyed the Pizza/Arcade option.
Also first time skiing and now we will never stay at a place that is not Ski In /Ski Out. Total game changer. The property had enough space to be cozy, great views and easy access. We skied 3 days and probably up to 8 hours per day. Ski in the morning, each lunch/dinner and then night skiing until 10pm. So fun! Can’t wait to book again.

Siso the Rock was fantastic as was communication with the owner. This home provided our family of 9 with everything that we could need, the kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, everything was labelled and easy to find and the 3 floors gave everyone ample space and a place to get away if needed, along with a beautiful view of Beech Mountain. Siso the Rock is a true Ski-in Ski-out and the ski room on the bottom floor made for easy access to the mountain and plenty of storage for all of our ski equipment. On this trip the parking pad being level with the road was very convenient because with all the snow and ice getting up and down a steep driveway would have been difficult. This home was perfect for our family Christmas trip and we would definitely stay again.

We arrived for a blue sky weekend at the peak of leaf season. We spent every moment possible on the hiking trails. Hosts’ recommendations were perfect. Time in the house was cozy and comfy. 5 year old loved the air hockey and her “ bear cave” bunk bed. The baby loved everything - as babies do - and kept us all engaged practicing stairs and playing on the porch. Spacious, well-equipped kitchen, wonderful weekend!

Cool summer retreat
Accommodations were great and fit our family of 11 perfectly. All 5 kids and 6 adults had a bed which was comfortable. The house is clean and well stocked. The TV didn’t work and the owner didn’t respond but the overall experience was great

Great location for ski in ski out. The beds were comfy and clean. Enough dishes for a family. Everything was good except some of the heaters were not working. Last floor was pretty cold without the heater in the hall. Will stay there again.
