Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Did not stay in the place for the full 2 weeks. After they installed new roofing on the condo we had two leeks. One over one of the beds my daughter was sleeping in and one in the living room at the skylight. So we ended up moving to another condo. Here are my other comments: 1. There was like 6 remotes to the tv with no instructions on which remotes worked for what. 2. The sofas where terribly uncomfortable. Sank into them. 3. The upper floor creaked terribly any time someone walked on them.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented two of the condos at Forrest Pines from Vacation Station. We have rented from them before and love the location of Forest Pines. These are not new and luxurious condos but they are furnished well and equipped with everything a family could want to enjoy a great vacation. These condos have a swimming pool, spa, steam room and club house which is a great plus on the North Shore. Our only complaint in the condo we were in was the sofas in the living room. They look good until you sit down and then they practically swallowed us whole. I avoided sitting in them.

Stayed with a small group of 5 for a ski trip, more than enough space for the group but not enough hot water for everyone to shower. The water boiler must be on the small side. Had to spread out showers past 11pm was not ideal. Location is good. Picking up the key at a second location was an added effort, but the process was simple -even after hours. Odd thing that happened to us - we came home from skiing to a squirrel in the house. We believe it may have been living in the attic and fell out of the light fixture as it was stuck in the shower. We carefully caught him and relocated him outside. No big deal and made for a bit of excitement. Overall, solid place, just a bit pricy after so many added fees and for having to deal with the hot water issue.

Overall we liked the place. Big living room/common area - really nice for family/friends to get together. We were unfortunate to come in week when all their fire alarms needed battery replacement, and were eager to let us know in the middle of the night :( (multiple nights). Additionally, we had trouble keeping the house in comfortable temperature range (it would get too hot all at once). Vacation Station was rather slow to respond, but they did come and fix issues with fire alarms eventually (after 2 visits).
