This cozy cottage is nestled in a wooded and landscaped setting with a sandy beach, boat dock, boat ramp, and fishing pier. Lake Murray is known for it's striped and large mouth bass fishing. Enjoy swimming, boating, water and jet skiing, tubing, and more. We are located just 2 miles from Dreher Island State Park. This quaint cottage sleeps 6, a spiral staircase leads to the upstairs bedroom which has 2 twin beds and 1 set of bunk beds. Downstairs has a Queen size bed in the Florida room/bedroom. The Living Room has an entertainment center with a TV/VCR and Streaming TV. There is 1 bathroom. The kitchen has all the amenities, ex: coffee maker, toaster, microwave, linens, and towels. A washing machine and dryer are also provided. Adequate parking for cars, boats and trailers. We loved this place! It could use some updating, but for the price it is well equipped. This place wouldn't be friendly for those with limited mobility because there's lots of step ups and step downs. It wasn't any sort of issue for us, but could be of concern for others. Owner of the property was super nice and responded quickly. The boat ramp and beach were in great shape and made this a wonderful property for us with a bass boat. The lake was down a few feet and we were still able to put in our bass boat. The kitchen is small but well equipped. The shower was super small and that was the biggest drawback for us, but the advantages heavily outweighed this. We absolutely loved the covered porch and beach to hang out. The grills could use some cleaning. We wanted to use but chose not to because we didn't want to clean them. Overall, we love this property and will certainly be back with our child and family!

We stayed 3 days, we enjoyed boating and fishing. Sharon was more than accommodating and is even sending the things I forgot home! I would definitely recommend the it. It's a nice cozy quiet location.

The ramp was easy to use and dock was great to leave our boat. I thought the Sandy area ran into the water but it had a wall there. It was fine just not what I thought. Beds were good hose was clean

Great communication with host. Property was as described. Great cool air. Well stocked kitchen. Great outside deck with a nice view of lake. Great screened in porch with ceiling fans. Would go back.

We traveled for our daughter’s USC graduation. It was a perfect lake location to enjoy Lake Murray, and a perfect location to get away from it all. The cabin is exactly as described and is clean and orderly. We look forward to returning!

Had everything we would need. Dock is large. Plenty of space. Inside of property a little roomier than the pictures look. Easily fit our 5 guys and could have had 6. Great value. If yuh want fancy you could pay a whole lot more. If you want thoughtful, good value and what you need no fuss this is it. Lake of course is awesome .

We stayed in January for a few days while waiting for movers to bring our belongings to our new home nearby. The second day I accidently locked us out. I sent the owner a message through VRBO and they responded right away; had it unlocked for us by the time we were back from running errands. I found it a little chilly, with the only wall heater in the living room, but that's the only negative. We enjoyed our stay and recommend for anyone. Great views and peaceful.

Great stay on the lake. Driveway leads straight to the water. So many amenities I cannot mention them all. Dock access and waterfront yard. Best view on the lake. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed 28 days and had a wonderful stay on the lake Everything as described and my wife and I plus Kevin our small dog was very comfortable Only needed Sharrons help once , and she responded immediately Lovely quiet location with your own private beach

This small house was perfect for what we needed during this trip. 3 guys stayed here for the week. Only 1 bathroom and a small shower. The private boat ramp and dock was awesome. We kept the boats tied up to the dock overnight and electricity was nearby to charge batteries. The only slight problem was the driveway is narrow and we had to move trucks and trailers around to get both boats in the water. We had 2 trucks with boats and another truck.

The hosts were delightful and laid back. The property has so much space and patio seating. This water front is perfect for swimming and includes a boat landing access. They fully stocked it with all toiletries and essentials. I am looking forward to staying here again.

The property was nicer than expected, with a few quirks. Location on the lake is great, boat ramp and dock were both in nice and in working order. The house has no doors on the rooms, except for the bathroom doors (and one of the those would barely shut/lock). The spiral stairs are nice the first time up/down but get old fast, and be prepared to navigate them in the middle of the night. The place is pet friendly but there were loose dogs on the property at times and there were stray cats outside the patio all day & night. Other than that it was great.

We had a great time! Place was clean and had everything we needed. The grounds were beautiful and fishing was good! We took our older lab and she lived just laying g around on the screen porch and walking. I would definitely stay here again.

We were very impressed with this lakeside cottage. There was no reason to leave the property except for groceries. With a dock, beach, boat launch, grassy area, fire pit, bench swings, screened porch, and grills it has everything you could want in a vacation by the lake. We chose this location because it was near my family so we could have some time to visit with them, but also have a relaxing vacation away from the city. We got in very late and Sharon was nice enough to leave the lights on the deck so we could see to get in. Our kids loved the spiral staircase up to their bedroom. We loved every minute of our vacation and can’t wait to come back again!

We truly enjoyed our weekend at Sharon’s place. Sharon was so helpful and hospitable throughout our stay. She even came to the rescue with a bandage for my daughter’s finger injury. We enjoyed watching her and Roy feed the fish and enjoyed meeting both of them. The check in was simple and the house was roomy and very clean. The beds are all so comfy. The spiral stairs were a hit for my 7 year old son. I enjoyed them as well. The Wi-Fi worked well for us even during a big storm. I loved the outside lighting as well as the screened in porch. My favorite part was definitely the white sand beach! It’s so nice and taken care of that I immediately began planning our next trip! The lake is amazing and it was so awesome to run and jump off the dock. We love this place and can’t wait to get back :)

the kids love this location. From fishing to kayaking to water-skiing to just floating, they had a blast in a nice cove where it was safe for them to be in the water. As parents, it may not be a 5 star accommodation, but it brings you back to simpler times and brings the family closer. Thank you Sharon and Roy. Lots of good memories

Location was excellent. Sharon was very helpful and quick to respond to all of my questions. The ramp on the property made lake access extremely easy. Unfortunately the cabin was not as clean as we expected. We had a wonderful time at Lake Murray!

Enjoyed our stay! Beautiful view and house was clean. The upstairs bedroom is best for kids because it is a small spiral staircase. The only other thing is the shower is very small. But with that being said we still had a great time and would highly recommend it!
