If you like to stay at a well used frat house, then his is it.

Breakfast and location were very good.

Bed had a topper over the matrices that moved while sleeping. Just waiting to fall out of the bed.

Great location for an otherwise subpar Clarion hotel

Location in Visby was good - very central. Staff was generally friendly.

Rooms were old and not clean. Stains in the carpet and finger prints on the mirror. Old trash in the drawers of nightstands. Curtain rails was partially falling from the ceiling. The rooms were not cleaned properly; 'fresh' bedsheets often had stains on them. Also one day we came back from the beech and had a lot of sand in the bathroom. The next day, after the room was 'cleaned', it was still there and we specifically had to ask the staff to clean the bathroom better. The breakfast buffet was generally okay; however it was busy at all times in the morning which means you were forced to sit in the lobby to eat your breakfast. Also the staff did not replenish the food and drinks.

Love Visby, Love Gotland, and this hotel is realy beautifil place with perfect personal.

It is absolutely gorgeous and a perfect place. The staff is perfect, kind and welcoming. The hotel is a beautiful building, a beautiful reception and bar and an incredible number of rooms. It is ideally located in the historic part of Visby. The breakfasts are excellent and tasty.

There should be no mold in the shower. And the toilet waste in the middle of the room, right in the bedroom of room 161, is the sad story of this room.

One of those few hotels that met with more than the projected expectations!

I couldn't ask for anything better, everything from breakfast to start my day to the amazing location, met with my expectations ! A perfect blend of vintage & comfort!

Maybe a couple of thing I could think of: Having an adjustable spray for the shower, the pressure and temperature are great! The pool should be open from earlier than 1400 hours, for many, starting the day with a swim is most appreciated! And this is the first hotel I've come across that charges their resident guests, 12 Euro for using the swimming pool!

Amazing! I can not say enough about the breakfast and the staff. Great location!

The breakfast was amazing! The location was perfect, close to everything in the main part of Visby and very close to the ferry.

Better direction for parking. Especially for people traveling from other countries. We were told that there was "parking behind the building" and "behind the library" with no map indicating where those areas are. I received a parking ticket for $130 because I misunderstood the signs. It would be an amazing service to provide information on parking for your guests.

Great location and big rooms but not reached my expectations for value and Clarion reputation.

I seems staff was not very professional or used to the hotel. Some facilities looked old or not up to Clarion standards. The cleaning routine was really bad, rooms were not tidy, not even replaced the used glasses. Breakfast ok but no details or any charm on it, also no coffee options just “conference” coffee. Spa in the other hand was excellent and very helpful staff. All in all, I was expecting more for the money.

Cleaning standards. Lack of details to make the stay more pleasant.

Memorable and comfortable

Location, breakfast, pool, great staff, lovely lobby area, quiet

Our room, 456, had no dresser, no drawers anywhere to keep clothes. We had to pile our clothes around the room so it was always a mess.

Very good

Very central location, clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast and nicely furnished.

We had to ask three times to get the third bed in the family room made available, which was annoying.

Sweet and sour.

Great location, great breakfast

Charges of 290 SEK for a two hour access to the basement swimming pool. When it used to be free. Not a great move if you want to hang on to your customers.

Very good

A really nice hotel with great location in a city centre. Roms are clean and nice furnished. We also had a nice view. Nice breakfast.

We had to change 3 elevators to come to the room with a baby in a pram. We were not informed at the reception that we can enter the hotel from the back side to avoid carrying the pram to the reception. There is extra cost for the spa in the hotel.
