Great location, good brisk service, comfy room, no problems.

The accommodation was really central and in a good location. The check in process was straight forward as it was supposed to be self service (the landlord was there so made it much easier)
The breakfast was also self service but we didn’t use those facilities.
There are major road works between the city centre and the accommodation but we were not told this. Our Google maps was taking us straight there but we have to divert all the way round which took another 45 minutes. Would have been good to mention this in the messages we were sent on how to enter the property. It was very basic accommodation that needed updating and some tlc! We probably wouldn’t stay there again but would definitely visit Oxford again.

Extremely poor. There is no one on duty so it's a case of help yourself. The coffee machine showed a fault, grounds needed emptying but there were no instructions on how to do this and along with another guest we had to go without coffee.
My bedroom, room 1 was extremely dated. The bin hadn't been emptied. I had an accessible bathroom that was extremely dated and rusty in places. The very small wash sink only ran hit water, no cold water. The shower curtain had half its clips missing and the shower seat was dirty and rusty. It wouldn't take much money to replace a few items and make it less tatty.

We arrived and were lucky to get last one of the 4 parking spaces.
Comfortable bed
Spacious room
Good shower
Fab location
On arrival only 1 key (spare to our room as previous guest had not returned it) no front door key.
No note to say this lucky the cleaner was there to phone manager to explain about the key.
This also ment our room could not be tided during our stay.
Breakfast was OK if you liked cereals and bread ( no toaster) . We knew it was self service and Continental. Not the greatest Continental breakfast I have had.
No one to top up the juice in the fridge when it ran out .
Coffee machine was switched off one morning so 6 guests sat waiting for coffees until 1 guest switched it on . With an error code coming up on it .

Good value for money, clean and functional. The room had all the basics and plenty of towels. I wasn't expecting anything else for the price I paid
It may of been my mistake but the room I booked had the bathroom across the hall and I think it was shared. It was a pain having to leave the room to go to the loo especially in the middle of the night

The shower was amazing!
parking was very tricky as the 4 bays were full.

Bathroom was excellent, just what I needed after a day cycling.

The location. The comfortable bed
I would have liked the option of decaff tea/coffee.

It was a great location. The decor was fine, the room was nicely laid out. The bedding was lovely.
Coming into the room was really nice, bright, clean, lovely laid out bed with plenty of cushions/pillows. Shower was a decent size. There was a corner toilet which was unusual but really helped maximise space in the bathroom.
Biscuits, tea and coffee laid out, which is more than I've often had. There was also almost a coat rack for hanging clothes up on which was helpful for popping a suit/dress up on.
There was a dirty mug and spoon. The toilet roll was damp, only the one on the spindle so I'm not sure if it was one of those techniques for making it stick together. There was another toilet roll on the cistern so not a huge issue.
Entry way into the room was tight so I'd recommend asking about accessibility if you've got any mobility issues. (We were room 5).
It wasn't really obvious externally when approaching from Bicester way, better signage could have been helpful.
I didn't encounter any staff so we didn't raise the issue of the mug while there, as neither of us drink tea or coffee anyway.

Close to the train station, easy to find. Food at restaurant was great! TV was exceptional!
It was a little challenge to navigate a separate bathroom but I knew when I booked that it was.

The bed was comfortable.
The check-in was terrible! We never received the email with the entry code, so another nice customer let us enter with them. The bathroom faucet was loose on the sink, and the fixtures were rusty. The room was right on the street corner and noisy. There were no decorations on the walls, like a hospital room. It was a little far from the railway station for walking.

The bed was very comfortable.
Extremely small room in the top of the house, I stand 6ft2" and was constantly hitting my head on the angle of the roof.
Breakfast was self service and very limited.
Staff seemed non existent.

The Guest House is near the rail station and the city center (walking distance). It was very clean and good equipped, very cute house. We didn't see any of the hosts but the communication with the guests works good
А bathtub as the only option to take a shower in a place with more guest rooms is not comfortable and hygienic.

.The location was accurate. The continental breakfast was perfectly fine
The room and bathroom were way too small for the price. Breakfast room is too hot facing the morning sun.

near the city, the staff is very good
the carpet seems to old and the buildinh as well

Good location for town centre and theatre
Unfortunately the coffee machine ran out of milk

The location, comfort and cleanliness was great.
Some vegan breakfast options.
The value for money. The room was as expected, as was the location but the breakfast options were lacking.
I believe being in Oxford is justification for the price, but I've had better stays in London B&Bs for less money.

Entry to premises went without a hitch . I had heard of difficulties with key box entry to other places.
Good coffee.
Wobbly tap in the bathroom. Would prefer Jam in a jar or small bowl not in plastic packets.

We have stayed before and were very happy with our experience. We chose not to stay on this occasion because we found we were in a room with a shared bathroom which we would not choose to do.
We are very careful not to book rooms with shared bathroom so not sure how this happened and we did not stay. We had no response from the owners when we messaged to say we were not stopping as for health reasons this is not what we book until one week later and the response was a full stop!
The room was not cheap.
7.0
Pleasant accommodation for the price paid, high standard of cleanliness, clear instructions about how to enter property with keys, good range of food as a continental breakfast, owners responsive to calls from guests if there are any problems
No hangers in room and lack of a rail or wardrobe in room for jackets, suits, coats, instructions for using TV seemed slightly inadequate as we were unable to get a picture, only audio on screen , no shower facility in shared bathroom (although bath itself was a good, comfortable size)
5.0
Clean. Clear instructions for check in etc
The shared bathroom didn’t have a shower (no time for baths on business trips! Especially when you’re sharing the bathroom bath only makes it a long wait). Breakfast was fine but a few items were past the use by date on the labels. Generally ok, just not great for the price.
7.0
Good breakfast ,fair variety, but no staff on duty. easy to get to see sites of Oxford
front bedroom,traffic noise
