We enjoyed our stay at this property. It met our needs well and the location is perfect. Lots to see nearby with many great places to eat as well as groceries. We recommend choosing to stay here when visiting Florence!

Roberta was wonderfully welcoming and provided all information. The lovely lady at the front door was kind and helpful. The apartment is in a fabulous location, about 1 block away from the very busy areas. Very comfortable and plenty of space.

It was completely refurbished and very modern and well stocked in every way. Especially appreciated the many books available to explain Florence to us. The location is great (half a block to the nearest grocery market and a block N of the Arno River. Of course we got lost all over the place but finally realized we could walk along the river to the Galileo Science Museum, turn right and be on the street with the Uffizi, Plaza Vechio, Bargello, Domo Museum and continue on to the Accademia. Four full days seemed enough for seeing Florence. Problem with contacting owner was on our end. Just couldn't get our internet to work. Highly recommended.

Everything about our stay was excellent. The building is a beautiful restored palazzo, and the apartment has beautiful, modern finishes as well as centuries old frescoes on the ceiling! Ingrid welcomed us with every detail we could need, homeowner Roberta was responsive and gracious re all questions, and concierge Marilou was a constant reassuring backup for quick assistance and sheet and towel changes as needed. We stayed over two weeks, so we’re able to get to know and appreciate the incredible location of the apartment in the Santa Croce area, steps from everything we needed. The apartment is perfect for short stays or long- ample kitchen utensils, linens, bedside lamps, fast wifi, effective AC (which was vital during this searing heatwave), basic toiletries and paper products and a washer/dryer, iron and board, dishwasher and more. The living room even has shelves of guidebooks and fiction paperbacks to read while there. We would give 6 stars if we could- we hated to leave!

I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful property and its fantastic location. It is within walking distance to absolutely everything you would want to walk to see in Florence. Communication with the host was fantastic and all our needs were met fully. The next time I visit, Florence this will definitely be where I will request to stay. It is serene and has all that you will look for. Enjoy!

Wonderfully appointed, great location. Walking distance to every major site in Florence. Roberta was very responsive to our issues. Unfortunately the air conditioner in back bedroom did not work snd the TV did not work , but despite that we would recommend this apt to others.

Beautiful building in a perfect location ! The 2 bedrooms were on a small size, hard to squeeze a portable crib but also with a spacious kitchen and a nice living area. The second bedroom has an open ceiling shared with the living area. The windows opened to a very quiet street allowing a restful stay with restaurants and bars at the door step.

Apartment was wonderful and exactly as described. Great location near all the attractions yet in a quiet area. Amazing kitchen for cooking and all the amenities would could hope for while traveling with family

This is a great apartment. It is large and has everything you need. The bathroom is very large and the water pressure is incredible. The washer/dryer worked very well. The location is close to everything and less than two blocks to river. You will not regret staying here!

I have nothing but glowing remarks concerning this property. Clean, great location, good furnishings, stylish. Our only issue is that there is only one bathroom. Consequently, the second bedroom is situated so that you must walk through the 1st bedroom or the bathroom to reach it. This makes it a bit difficult in the morning for 2 couples. It is more ideal for just one couple or a family.

The apartment was clean, modern and convenient to many restaurants, a mini-market and the museums/Cathedral. We would recommend taking a taxi from the train station to the apartment as it is about a 30 minute walk; difficult with luggage on the cobblestones. There is a bus stop across the street (Bus 23) that stops at the train station to go back (we couldn't figure out which bus goes from the train station to the apartment). We would definitely stay here again if we return to Florence!

This is a true hidden gem for your stay in Florence. Fantastic location near the Arno and the Uffizi, not to mention, around the corner from the best gelato! Roberta was an amazing host. She met us on the street to help us find the apartment and her response time, to any question we had, was immediate. The apartment was spacious, clean and very pretty. Would definitely stay there again!

We couldn’t have found a better location for our first visit to Florence. A 3 minute walk to the Uffizi and 5 to the Ponte Vecchio. Accessible to the Duomo area, San Carlo food market and many other sites plus lovely streets to wander. The property was a great base, we ate out mostly but the kitchen was really well equipped. The building itself is amazing architecturally. Highly recommended, we wouldn’t hesitate to revisit the apartment again. Roberta was a very helpful host.

Apartment is clean and comfortable. Perfect location close to the sights but away from the crowds. Supermarket is a five minute walk away.

The apartment is located within walking distance of everything and—bonus—up a flight of stairs from delicious food and wine at La Bruschetta (make a reservation). The VRBO host was very responsive and the concierge on the ground floor was very helpful. The apartment was equipped with all we needed and was very clean.

We loved staying at this apartment. It was very close to the Uffici gallery, and the Ponte Vecchio with lots of good restaurants and shopping nearby. The courtyard was beautiful in spite of the ongoing construction. We had everything we needed and more!

The apartment is in the former palace of a wealthy family and I confess it made me feel a bit like a Renaissance princess staying here. Close to everything a first time visitor to the city would need. Easy check in; there are about 20 stone steps up to the front door so pack lightly. Great food nearby and 5 minute walk to all you want to see. Would definitely stay here again.

This apartment is beautiful. It is much much larger than it appears in the listing. The neighborhood is ideal, very close to Uffizi, and Santa Croce, but feels like a real neighborhood. The Hosts were wonderful. Roberta met us promptly so check-in was easy. They went above and beyond when we needed a little extra assistance with something unrelated to the apartment. The building is historic and beautiful. Well-lit, clean, beautiful kitchen and bathroom. Would definitely stay here again.

The property was comfortable, well maintained and very clean. We would love to stay here again. There is a staircase from the ground floor to the apartment. When we arrived a young man helped us with one of our heavy bags. The building is very well located in a centric and safe area with many restaurants, food markets and tourist attractions close by. We would have loved to use the A/C because it was unusually warm for October and mosquitoes came into the apartment, however this was not available for use. The apartment has a full kitchen which we used little because there are many restaurants close by. The apartment also has a washing machine which was very convenient. There is a dining room table for 4 and a “family room” area with a sofa and tv. WiFi was available. Roberta was responsive to our questions and requests. We highly recommend this property. Our host met us at the apartment to check in, she was very friendly and gave us great tips. It was a short walk to all the major sites, yet in a quiet area. The beautiful building is just as pictured, and it is amazing to be able to stay there. Such history and you feel a part of it! Restaurants are nearby. We would absolutely stay there again !
